I was just taking today about how environmental things could have been different had Gore won in 2000! Excited to listen

I’m also still a bit chuffed over the circumstances surrounding the election of Jackson.

It's funny how a key plank of right-wing politics is that America is bringing in immigrants who are hostile and alien to American democratic values, and who are criminals. However, the fascist Miami Cubans whose main hobbies are political terrorism and cocaine trafficking don't count because they're America's special little boys.

How do you suggest songs? I want to offer the Guillotine by The Coup

Ren

Good suggestion 👍 5 million ways to kill a C.E.O.❓️

Zack Spiller

Amazing song! Glad to see the Coup getting some love out there.

Let's all admit, we all love bush...

I remember the 2000 election night like it was yesterday. I stayed awake till 5am when the election was called by ABC for Bush. I was glad about it too, since I bought into the compassionate conservativism bullshit. 2003 proved me wrong on so many levels. This is such a great podcast.

Absolutely remembering shirts like "I love bush (the pussy not the president)" and "good bush/bad bush." as a bi teen growing up a stones throw from focus on the family, I cannot tell you how much I wanted one of those shirts...

Not long after which I quit voting.
