Tried doing this trend in manga style, but the hatching is honestly exhausting

I think I will go back to my usual render, or maybe just drop the trend completely

What program are you using? I'd recommend searching for a brush that makes the pattern, otherwise you'll go crazy XD

i use clip studio! i looked around for a brush like that but couldn’t find one that fits, the closest had really short strokes 😭

I used fishnet 2 of this set for the base https://assets.clip-studio.com/es-es/detail?id=1837646 And for the pattern I used this https://assets.clip-studio.com/es-es/detail?id=1837646 I did a Nerissa piece with these, you make a selection with the black color and in another layer you use the fishnet, first for the horizontal and then you cut the selection to just include the part raised of the leg and do it again upward. Then just pich whichever of the patterns you like more and sprinkle them around, that should help

It looks amazing! Manga style is something I don't see often in the holotags what a great idea + it really looks great!! Did you try maybe using textures?
