One game won the multi-choice poll, and another game won the single choice poll. Between these two winners, only one will be the next Patreon series (and the other has a good chance of winning next time). You have one day to pick the next series, may the best game win!

MRMAN

honestly im glad woth either choice. win win for me hehe

Amythistfire

Space Age would be so long, we should honestly run it alongside other series

Goldlizard

Guys, I love Factorio as much as everyone else, but rampant death world is an extreme, dozens of run challenge for players with hundreds of hours- 2 attempts for Tyler would take like 20 minutes

GodFire

Well that's a vote I can't loose 😄

Aliensrock

If it's too frustrating, I'd try to tweak the settings to have it be challenging but still fun

Edvaize

Oh damn, that went in a direction I didn't expect. I'm not really the biggest fan of doing DLCs

Brayan Jurado Mendoza

DLC means quicker series and more games so I’m all for it, which I had voted the first time lol

Durtle02

I know nothing of Professor Layton but I will keep voting for it. One day it'll win....

symphony

Why Rampant + Death world? The new planets alone are already incredibly interesting and challenging, plus death world will just extend Nauvis playtime which we've already seen.

Parapet Cloud

Its a bunch of riddles/puzzles wrapped in a mystery storyline

Floatingreed

The issue I see with Space Age is that "finishing the game"(reach SSE) has a speedrun achievement for doing it in under 100 hours, which is very doable, but the point is that it's reasonable to spend that much time on a full campaign. Additionally the extra challenge is irrelevant by midgame because getting overrun isn't a loss condition anymore, just a timesink. Tyler said he likes being threatened and not "just make everything bigger" and once you've setup the inner planets you can't be threatened anymore and the only way to progress is to make everything really big. Space Age, from what he's said at least, doesn't seem to cater to his way of enjoying the game. He'd probably enjoy the inner planets at least. (Maybe I shouldn't be making so many assumptions based on what he's said, but this is why I didn't vote for Space age despite loving the original factorio series, AND loving playing Space age myself)

Hollow

Hey guys, just a quick FYI for those who didn't know, Rampant changes the ai and mechanics of the space age enemies as well, not just on Nauvis

Darcy Ryder

One day we will see Talos Principle 2 😭 Factorios my favourite game, but Im a bit scared to see how he enjoys this playthough, specially with the changes. Still voting for it cause its what ill watch.

Xargon Bloodscale

I second this. I really want to see Tyler's take on my favorite game, but I know he'd burn himself out either struggling with the enemies early/midgame or with the scale of production late game.

> Speedrun > under 100 hours What the fuuuuuuuuuck

Factorio: Space Age really shines with the three new planets. Everything about the logistics of Nauvis is upended, presenting you with novel problems to solve. If the logistics of Nauvis started to become repetitive/boring by the end of your first playthrough, I don't think the introduction of Rampant/Deathworld will really change much other than put you on a more restrictive and frustrating timer to get "stable", at which point you're pretty much playing the same game but with a toddler kicking you in the shins every five minutes.

Yeah baba it is. Factorio is not very interesting to me (I need my puzzle game content) and it sounds like it'd take much longer (I am biased though since I nominated baba lol)

Floatingreed

You mean Space Age? That's not a guaranteed quick series of he does a full campaign. There's a speedrun achievement for doing it in under 100 hours lol

Floatingreed

Unless it makes lightning destroy lightning rods, that still doesn't make it a loss condition after early game

Darcy Ryder

Thats for the in game achievement meant to be conpleted by mortals. The speedrun WR is 8h 30m, and compared to 1.0 they havnt been speedrunning it that long, so it should get a good bit lower. This guy has been knocking 30m off each PB https://youtu.be/ddEQPtxl7MY?si=Akja9gsykBit_jfz

It's interesting how the Youtube post was flooded with passionate Crosscode lovers, but Crosscode only has 20 votes on the most wanted poll. I wonder why. I hope Baba wins. I can't get enough Baba content.

inkify

I find that the comments are usually a REALLY bad indicator of the winning came. On the Obra Dinn poll, Library of Ruina was basically all people talked about, but it got close to last place, seconded only by Machinarium

Anshuk A.

I mostly know of it from ProZD and the hilarious "Sunrise" and "Big Dog" va readings. Based on the fanon personalities, I have to think the canon game is pretty fun too. (oh and the "I want my hat back")

symphony

a jrpg (albeit a good one) just seems so out of place for his channel lol

.

That's what I was thinking. I thought it was a mistake tbh. The game also requires a good amount of grinding iirc.
