Even More Updates (Finally) (Patreon)

Sorry for taking so long to update everyone here. If I'm being honest, I've been kinda procrastinating lately, but I'm hoping that changes with the ringing in of a new month.

I posted the Deviantart update in the middle of June, I believe. If you haven't seen that, don't worry, I'll reiterate what I said there in this update plus some more things I have planned.

CHANGES IN MY LIVING SITUATION

Firstly, I moved into my mom's room to give two of my younger family members a bit of space, since they tend to bicker a lot. They're siblings, so they tend to bicker a lot, even more so having shared the same space for quite a long time (since we've moved into the place we're at now). I want to partition the room a bit so I have some privacy when working on the MBL, since it would be hard to explain the appeal of what I do if my mom sees what I'm working on. So, I'll be using Throne and Patreon to fund some purchases for that purpose. I also have other things I want to get, but those aren't as important. Check it out, and if you can't donate, don't worry.

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

I am still...attempting to while away at Week 4, but working on a comic has been more daunting than I first thought. I've planned things out a certain way, but I always worry about editing, paneling, dialogue, and the like. As of now, I want to be finished with the comic by the time August is done and dusted.

For Patreon, I may have to dial back on doing requests for the Benefactor tier. I've honestly been taking too long to deliver, and it doesn't feel right for those who have paid for it to basically get nothing in return. Instead, following Week 4, I'll be offering early access to select images I post, as well as the full, unedited panels that are for the comics I make.

I also want to get back to work on Shantae: Fight Club, (for the three people who care about it :P) so once Week 4 is done, I'll switch to that. Afterwards, there are a couple of things I'd like to do, but of course, that all depends on the time I have (and how much of it I waste procrastinating).

PROJECTS I WANT TO DO:

MBL Tournament (World Cup/Boxer's Cup/Contendership Cup) - A fan voted tournament between MBL participants. In the case of the World Cup idea, characters will represent a real world country, and fans will vote on which they want to win. Of course, this may change, since I gather most of my fans are from the Americas anyways.

Shantae: Fight Club - Round 1 Remake - A remake of Shantae: Fight Club - Round 1, featuring a comic format and Shantae's new look! I held votes on Discord to see which design of Shantae people liked more, and people voted for this look! While it will be a remake of the fight, the outcome won't really change all that much.

POV: Coco and the Nitro Squad - A limited POV series which will see Coco attempt to join the ranks of Tawna, Liz, Ami, and Isabella. There will be plenty of winning, a lot more losing. Hope you guys enjoy, when/if I ever decide to do this.

Honey's Birthday Celebration - Something I plan on doing for Honey's birthday. I'm thinking maybe she'll take to the streets again against a couple of opponents intent on delivering some birthday punches, but of course, the birthday girl can't lose, can she?

Dead or Alive Boxing Tournament - A boxing tournament filled with Dead or Alive characters. I haven't worked out the specifics yet, so this one is still up in the air out of everything else.

APPLE AND iOS PURCHASES

To conclude, you all have probably seen other things like this from other creators, so I'll keep it brief. Apple likes to hog funds from creators when you buy things on the iOS, for whatever reason. This makes it harder for the creators you support to get what they need to make a living, whether it be the weird pictures I make, that one niche podcast you like to listen to, or access to various other goodies creators post on this site to reward their patrons. If you'd like to support any creator on Patreon more directly, please use a browser like Safari instead to pay for your subscriptions.
