BTS have always been like this, from what you’ve seen so far I understand your vision of how bts is in your eyes, songs like butter, dynamite etc aren’t really their typical style of music, they started off as a hip hop group originally, and their older music from 2013 to around 2016ish was very rap heavy and edgy, they used to wear black eyeliner and big chains, a lot of darker colours, and were very emo-ish, even in their less rap focused songs back in the day they still had a gritty vibe to them. This is more of a revisit to their roots but them older.
