The second half of the performance, starting with the solo dances is inspired by Greek mythology, the lore behind this performance is insane, each member represented a different Greek God, and their performances represented some element of the God From first to last V- Apollo God of Sun, arts and music (Twin of Artemis) Jin - Athena or Ares God of War, hence the Trojan horse. Jimin - Artemis Goddess of the moon (Twin of Apollo) Suga - Hephaestus God of Fire Jungkook - Poseidon God of Water J-Hope - Zeus God of the sky and thunder RM- Dionysus God of Wine and Festivity (the final song) Other things in the performance you did actually point out but here’s the Greek lore, The lights that came down after each member visualised the constellation Corona Borealis which Dionysus gave to his one true love, and when she died he tossed it into the sky to preserve its beauty. The blow up leopard statues, represented the animal that Dionysus rode, in ancient myths he is depicted on the back of a leopard or a panther. The staff that RM held, up is called a Thyrus, which is the staff carried by Dionysus. There’s so many more things in the performance and their solo performances that represent each God and then leading up to Dionysus. It’s an amazing performance.
