Great reaction as always. Found your deep-dive about the whoe Kamina believing in himself cause of Simon interesting. It's something the show will keep exploring and I'm excited to have you interpret the way it goes. Regarding episode 4 it was guest directed by Osamu Kobayashi, someone who is well known for making spicey animation decisions xD

I mean just smashing mechs together to combine them is so obvious...............right? (So far I've only gotten to watch the actual reaction and not the discussion)

I loved the discussion. It's great to hear someone talk about how deep the show is rather than the common "it's the mechs and drills anime" comments which, I mean isn't incorrect, but there is so much more going on underneath which I am glad you have noticed. As I said about episode 4, it's divisive, but I can't be too hard on it since it introduces one of my favorite characters.
