Ah, excited to see this pop up! Symphogear is probably my all time favourite anime series. In terms of popularity it's quite big over in Japan, but never caught on as well over in the west, which probably explains why you haven't heard much about it, though it does decently well for itself. What else to say? All these openings are written and performed by Nana Mizuki, who as you saw in the video is quite a prolific voice actress, and also just generally a bit of a pop star in Japan. She voices one of the main characters of the series, Tsubasa (The blue haired girl who shows up in all the openings), and played a pretty significant role in getting the series made. As I understand it, she was a long time collaborator of the main composer the series and fell in love with the whole concept pretty quickly. Being an anime original though, with no built in fanbase from existing manga or novels, it was tough to convince studio heads to give it a chance, and so she played a big role in twisting arms and cutting deals to get it the green light and subsequently get additional seasons confirmed. Because of this, it's a bit of a meme in the fanbase to say that everything happens because "Nana wills it." (Oh also, just to clarify the last two openings in this playlist, for XD Unlimited, are for a mobile game, which is why the visuals aren't all that impressive for either of them)
