Blogpost incoming

I've been uploading a comic every day for 3+ weeks now. It's nice to be able to do or claim this but it's not sustainable long-term. It takes a lot of time to generate the more uncommon pictures, like opening a door, and have them turn out well. In addition, with these sequences, appearance details need to be very accurate, eg hair is the correct shade, boots are the same design - and this needs to apply to every consecutive picture, otherwise it's jarring if you go from one picture to another and it's obviously different.

This hugely multiplies the amount of time it's taking to finish each post and making it impossible to get ahead of schedule. So, from now on, I will be posting full comics less frequently and you can use this post as an example of what you can expect instead.

There is a minor narrative element to it but it is far looser while still maintaining a lot of the core appeal which I hope will still satisfy you. I looked back at my earlier posts and noticed this was what I usually did before becoming completely focussed on comics.

This will free up time for me to experiment with, to learn and to improve and eventually get to working on the game, and also just to breathe, which will be nice. I've wanted to mess with short AI videos for a while but haven't really found the time to put aside to do so. I'll also need to look into AI sound/voice which may be used in the game, if I can implement it at a sufficient quality.

With these changes I can ensure a sustainable future so thank you for your understanding!
