Build 12: Asterion (Patreon)

"Wise Calliope, leader of the delight-making Muses, and skilful initiator into the mysteries, son of Leto, Delian Paean, favor me with your presence."

— Mesomedes of Crete.

I will dispense my usual pleasantries and admit it: that together my team and I envisioned something beautiful, that we poured every drop of dedication and effort we had, and I am proud of what we have created.

Of all builds we have released since we opened this Patreon, this is the most special one. It contains what I consider to be the most important scene in all of Chapter 20, and arguably one of the most important in the entire game. It was the product of extensive research across an excess of sources and, most importantly, on-site in Crete as well.

Minotaur Hotel as a work juggles many tones and threads, from the comedic to the dark, from mythology to modernity. It is not often I get to truly spread my wings as a writer, to truly allow myself the sheer madness to make something utterly uncompromising from start to its very end.

I thank the Muses and the Gods of the land. I thank you, dearest reader.

I will remember you and sing another song.

Now take my hand. I have much to show you.
