Hello! And, once again, welcome to the voting for the Patreon exclusive story, this time for August 2022.

As a quick reminder, and for those of y'all who are new, a reminder of how it works:

Each month, the patrons in the Young Bird tier get to propose a prompt for the Patreon exclusive story for that month; the prompts are then voted on by the patrons in the Hatchling and Young Bird tier, with the Young Bird patrons getting two votes. (They will get a second poll for the second vote.) The prompt that gets the most votes will get written out as a 5000-6000 (-ish) short story. (In case of a tie, I will pick the prompt.)

So, without further ado, here are these month's prompts!

The Meta-Reference Desk -- A reference librarian at the Brooklyn Public Library is convinced that his extremely eggy friend who works in the accessions department would benefit from doing a little  more thinking about his gender. When noted author Zoe Storm’s book “The Transition Zone” makes its long-awaited debut in print he orders a copy for the library, knowing that once it arrives at the accessions desk his friend won’t be able to resist giving it a read…

A (k)night for role models -- teenage boy dreams of being a knight in a setting where the most heroic of knightly orders is traditionally women, and archaic laws, barring knights from marrying or having families, have resulted in both a somewhat biased self selection in the knighthood and a number of secret traditions of this order - including the fact he is far from the first young “man” to come looking for an exception.

What's in a Name? -- Two people from cliques that have never gotten along get cast as Romeo and Juliet, and when they discover that they have more in common than they thought, they decide to swap roles and names, both in and out of the play

Someone Else's Life -- Jacob Mitchell wakes up one day in a strange house, with a strange woman and a brand new woman’s body. Luckily as a long time connoisseur of gender bending fiction he knows what to do to not be found out as an imposter in this body as he searches for a way back to normal. But then why does he want to go back less and less as time goes on. And what if he’s not as clever and genre savvy as he thinks?

Informed Consent -- An egg endocrinologist works at an informed consent clinic helping to administer gender-affirming hormone therapy.

Brighton -- Our protagonist, a depressed man meets a trans lesbian at a bar. She’s fresh off a badly ended relationship and drunk out of her mind and in her inebriated state sees a sexy tall girl with short hair in mens clothes. Our protagonist, who usually ends up going to a bars to get drunk out of his mind (which she is) and not for one night stands. But before they both know it, they wake up the next morning with no memory of the night before. With him in women’s clothes, and her wondering how she ever ended up with a guy in her bed (he is kinda cute though, and not in a masculine way…). They talk and find out many things about each other, including that our protagonist isn’t as much of a man as she thought…

Vote for your favourite! The poll to do so can be found here, and the deadline is Thursday, August 11th, at 12.00 noon CEST.

And thank you for being here, y'all :)
