ANNOUNCEMENT: pausing payments for November and December (Patreon)

Hello, this is a public service announcement regarding the status of this Patreon in the near future 🙂

I will be repeating the announcement next month, in October, but I'm doing it now in September to give you notice well in advance.

As the title of the post says: I will be pausing payments on the Patreon for November and December. (And maybe also January, I'll have to see how things go.)

What this means for you is that the Patreon will stay active, and you will have access to the appropriate content for the tier you're subscribed to; however, you will not be charged any money for your subscription for November and December.

(Note that since I have pay-up-front active, new patrons will be charged as usual when they join, and if you upgrade your tier you'll be charged for the difference between the old and new tier; this is as far as I know unavoidable.)

The reason I'm doing this is that things here will slow down significantly during those months: there will likely be no monthly exclusive stories, and updates to ongoing stories will be few and far in-between (or will not happen at all).

This in turn is because in November I'll be travelling to Thailand to... well... kinda get my plumbing re-arranged (😃) and as a result, I'll be quite busy, both before (there's a surprising amount of stuff to do as preparation!) and after (I'll be sidelined for a few weeks at the very least). I will have very little time to think about writing, and about my obligations to y'all, so I very much prefer to not make you pay for content which is probably not coming.
