And we're back! It's been a while. Pardon the dust as we get settled back in.

Hello and welcome! This is the post where I gather the prompts for the Patreon exclusive story for January 2023. Now, y'all should know how this work by now, but just in case here's the usual reminder:

You (you who are reading this, the Young Bird tier patrons), if you want, get to propose a prompt for the exclusive story.

After that, you and the Hatchling tier patrons will vote on your favourite, with you getting two votes.

The prompt that gets the most votes will get written out as a 5000-6000(-ish) word short story.

So, without further ado, let's get to it! Write your prompts as a comment to this post, or send them to me via direct message.

The deadline is four days from now: Sunday, January 8th, at 12.00 CET. As always, it's not a super strict deadline, so if you're a bit late I'll still accept the prompt, but don't be too late.

That's it! We're back on track here, folks. Let's have a good year 🙂

"Fine, I'll get a stupid haircut." Name's hair has been longer than some girls for quite a while now, and his parents have kept bugging him about it. So, since it's almost the summer and it's getting hot he finally caves and goes to the hairdresser, but while he does get a shorter haircut, in order to keep giving his parents a hard time he goes for a clear feminine style. However, what happens when he discovers he actually likes the new haircut? And what happens when the whole school starts thinking "she's" finally growing out of "her" tomboy style?

Conventional Wisdom Let us examine two examples groups of people who excel at high end nerdy. The first example is, for lack of a simpler word - chuds. Man children gatekeepers, gaters, long time dark web members who have built their entire identity off the precious belief they know what's best in geek fandoms. The second group is a community of nerds who used fandoms to find comfort and friends and often avoid facing hard facts - trans gals Our story takes place at Big Apple comic con where two such groups of four are about to meet head on in the last round of the trivia contest. Where one member of the first group is about to have quite the eye opening afternoon.
