New story: The Brightest Stars (Patreon)

Hello hi hello! Here's the first chapter of a new story I'm writing. It's titled The Brightest Stars and it's sci-fi! Real, proper, hard (ish) sci-fi! A genre I haven't really written before, but we'll see how it goes.

This first chapter is mostly set-up for the moment, but I hope you will find it intersting. Do let me know how you like it!

One thing to note: be mindful of the content warnings (right under the first chapter's title). While they're mild in this chapter, capital-I Identity Issues will be a big theme in this story, with all it entails; so tread carefully in case what is described in the content warnings is a trigger for you.
