Password: “crazy”

Sending the biggest Happy Birthday shoutout to our one and only Park Jimin! 🥳🎉 To celebrate him on his special day, we’re taking a trip down memory lane to his FACE album promotions, where he gave us the sweetest interview on SBS Radio and reunited with ARMY after so long. 💜

We are excited to see Jimin and to learn more about his incredible solo debut album FACE. 🎶✨

P.S. we posted our usual Sunday video early, to celebrate Jimin on his actual birthday, so we'll see you again on Tuesday for Run Jin!!

this was such a nice surprise! I love interviews where they can interact with fans in a calmer environment! Note on one of the XO questions, when they did rock paper scissors it translated it as Jimin being unlucky which is kinda similar but the actual word used was 똥손(ddong-son). This literally translates to poop hand LOL which is something the members have called jimin a lot especially in run bts. It is used to describe people who are notoriously unlucky specifically in game settings, like card games or rock paper scissors of games of random luck. I don’t remember which episode of run bts it was but i remember they were on teams and one representative had to come forward and do rock paper scissors or something similar and one of the members called jimin forward by saying 똥손 lets go! Just wanted to give some context cause when we say someone is unlucky in english that has a MUCH broader connotation and sounds more like someone is unlucky in life and more serious settings than games or things like that! :)

qotd: FACE OFF IS MY SONGGGGG. I feel like its so underrated. The rest of the album are all like equal to me they're all so good but I listen to face off like crazy (pun intended) And if LETTER was on Spotify it would be up there too. That song makes me cry its so beautiful :((

The original Chopata radio 9 years ago was also very much fun familia he appeared alone on that and interacted with fans on calls and it was soo cute seeing baby jimin and the fans that appreciated him and lifted his morale

omg nice surprise familia thank you..! I hope jimin is having a great birthday in military..! He also did one of this radio shows back in the days too!! qotd: I absolutely love “like crazy” and “alone” like there’s something about his voice in these songs., so mesmerising!

Wonderful Surprise Thank you guys 💜 Watching it on actual birthday feels like celebrating Jimins birthday with you guys 🤗💜

So the agile and slow question it sounds very different in Eng translation but in Korean its more along the lines of are you someone who’s always on time or do you take your time and do things - this is because of RM saying jimin is always late on sets and arrives late and he was teasing jimin and said if anyone’s late that day they say “I’m jimin today”

Shreya

Lmao uthamans face when she swatted jimin’s shoulder - its just typical asian aunty behaviour uthman - its an effectionate gesture

Shreya

Yea the Eng sub for this show need a lot of Korean context cause the direct Eng translations just explain what it means culturally

veenak

translations on this video are not soo good familia.. so much is not being translated and few are just wrong😭 when captions said “awkward charm” she meant 엉뚱 .. that’s not “awkward” it’s more like “goofy” RM once said in an interview familia “you jimin today” which means “are you late today” so in korean basically it’s like “he’s late cause he sometimes overslept or was slow in getting ready sort of” and If you remember few Run BTS amusement park eps he was literally screaming when they were riding viking😭 he is scared of heights!!
