Question of the day: What time do you usually wake up?

Password: “inspiration”

We really enjoyed today’s reaction because we got to step into Jhope’s Hope World for a moment! 🤭 We got a rare glimpse of the inspirations he pulled from LA for his new music, his routine, and what life looks like for a superstar like him. 🤩💫

btw I have two questions familia. Will we be returning to run jin this week on YouTube? Bc the last 3 episodes you guys missed are great episodes. They’re so funny 😭 and it said on the calendar that we were supposed to watch the press conference for map of the soul persona on Sunday….so will that be postponed?

MexineseFamily

aww Denice, thank you for your beautiful comment. we are sending you a virtual hug and wishing you comfort during this time ♥️🫶

Thank you! So excited for this one!!! 🥰 Also, FYI : J-hope Comeback LIVE: Sweet Dreams with j-hope March 6, 11 PM KST (Weverse)

MexineseFamily

Yesss! We have Run Jin coming soon, and we plan to circle back to the episodes we missed at some point. We’ll also be returning to Map of the Soul Persona either this week or next, depending on whether J-Hope’s episode of Please Take Care of My Refrigerator has English subs. If not it’ll be coming next Sunday! 🫶

Happy fasting guys :)

QOTD: It depends on normal school days probably 5:30-6:30 and on weekends it depents if I have stuff to do I can’t wait for another episode and seeing jhope with his sister 🥹. Jiwoo has a youtube channel where she does vlogs. She is businesswoman, fitting model and beauty influencer. I think she lives in South Korea and she visited jhope because hobi wanted to open up and about the pressure he’s been feeling

Thank you for your reactions! I’m still in the middle of watching, but I wanted to share some background information on why they were laughing at the old song for the work-out scene. The song that played is a classic Korean tune from 1971, and it begins with the lyrics "Young-Gam~" (영감~). Interestingly, "Young-Gam" (영감) has two meanings in Korean: it can refer to an elderly man (a somewhat old-fashioned term for "Sir" or "Old Man"), but it is also a homophone for the English word "inspiration," which is often transliterated as "영감 (Yeong-gam)" in Korean. The song's lyrics are essentially a conversation between an old couple, and to younger generations, it sounds outdated and somewhat silly. The wife begins the song by calling her husband "Young-Gam." While it can carry a meaning similar to "honey" or "sweetie," the term itself is very old-fashioned. In the show, J-Hope was talking about searching for inspiration (영감) while in L.A., and he enthusiastically repeated the word several times. Because "Young-Gam" is both a formal term for an old man and the start of this well-known 1971 song, the editors played it as a joke. The humor comes from the way J-Hope's passionate search for inspiration unintentionally echoed the lyrics, as well as the fact that "영감" (inspiration) can sound a little cheesy since it’s not a word people commonly use in everyday conversation. That’s why everyone found it so funny and even joked about the old song possibly going viral and making the Billboard chart—it was a playful way to poke fun at J-Hope’s excitement!😆

Thank you for this, familia! Watching it halfway now and then I saw that you just posted a run jin episode. Thank you for that, too! I was just wondering though if you will also be reacting to ep22 and ep23. It seems that you skipped 2 episodes. The ones you haven't reacted to are funny AF. Lol. Ep22 was super awesome and ep23 was just plain hilarious. I hope you'll also react to them. Advance thank you!

Yess!! I watch I Live Alone all the time so I’m extra excited for Hobi to be on the show. If he’s comfortable with it I would love for him to film another episode in Korea.

its funny how a lot of these morning habits it said he picked up from the military (and im sure he has picked up on a lot of new stuff) but hobi has always been so meticulous and organized from the get go. We constantly see him doing so much of that on Bon Voyage and in the soop for example. Making his bed immediately, organizing things for the members, etc. Seeing him order in n out makes me want to try so bad (tough for an east coast girly like me😔) That one interview from peoples magazine when asked what their favorite fast food restaurant was in america and he was "in n out!" and namjoon goes "animal style?" "YEAH animal style!!!" I loved the premise of this show so much and I cant wait for episode two.

jooniesbonsai 🪴⊙⊝⊜

and I cant believe we get the honor of watching hobi and his sister on screen together for the first time next episode!! I can't wait to see their dynamic. The Jung siblings💜✨

Just finished watching and wanted to give a little information on the I Live Alone cast before the next episode. Hyun Moo: Very well known host/entertainer. You may recognize him as one of the panelists on Problematic Men w/ Namjoon. Na Rae: Well known comedian/entertainer. I believe she is from the same province as Jhope which was why she was so excited when she heard him speaking in dialect. Code Kunst: Composer/Music Producer. His music is mostly in the hip hop genre. Key / Ki Bum: member of SHiNee - Kpop royalty- His personality is sassy but caring. He’s friends with a lot of idols and can dance to almost any kpop choreo. Kian84: Artist/Webtoon artist, Became a celebrity in Korea due to this show- he’s very unfiltered and spontaneous. There is an upcoming Netflix show coming soon (still waiting for the release date) called Kian 84 Bizarre BnB. Summary:“On a remote island, Kian84 hosts a quirky B&B escape, where BTS' Jin and Ji Ye-eun lead guests through playful exploits and delightful chaos.”
