Seventeen are masters at their craft, and it shows in this era! '17 is right here' album was a celebration that marks their 10 years journey as musicians (2015-2024), compiling all of their title tracks (kinda like Proof). Thus, Woozi taking samples from their previous tracks, and Maestro telling us how proud they are with their creations is very fitting for the album! Fun fact: the phrase '17 is right here' was actually used in some of their titles as an intro/tagline. The first one was in 'Clap', which was released 7 years ago in their 1st full-length album. cmiiw though Also, am i the only one that feels like Marisol's voice is a little different? I hope you're okay 🥺 As always, thank you for the fun reaction. I enjoyed it very much 💜

Love how Maestro is all about music. The lyrics are about music, the MV is related to music. And I love how the tune changes so much and so differently but yet works well together! The performance is also crazy and love how they included Coups and Hannie in it! WOW! Also loved your Rock With You at the start hehe. The tune of the bridge part, which I think Woozi DK and Seungkwan have, is from Rock With You and I love that part! Thank you so much for the detailed reaction!!!

Qotd: one word to describe “maestro” for me would be “Woozi” familia!!!! “Woozi is the Maestro himself” like such an amazing talent at such a young age, like both producing and lyric writing.. it just blows my mind everytime!!! I remember coups saying in one interview like how their (svt’s) entire discography can be described as “Woozi’s life”🥺 felt really bad when woozi’s words were taken out of context by some stupid reporter (that too a BBC report) and accused them of using AI in their songs and mv and woozi had to literally clarify himself when their stupid company didn’t do anything🙄 anyways as a group that’s 10years old they never fail to impress with their hard work and passion, so all the love is well deserved!!! The tune, melody changes all well put together remind me of “Bohemian rhapsody” by “Queen” like such different tunes but sound so awesome together!!!! Woozi is an absolute genius for this! This was my first comeback as a proper carat and I was just mind blown.. unit songs of this album go hard familia and have individual music videos too.. hope you will react to those someday!

“Mingyu is afraid of heights” Yesss😭😂. You’d think that Mingyu and Jungkook would be adrenaline junkies together but they aren’t 😆 Mingyu and DK are really really afraid of heights and they both are very vocal about it. SVT members teasing them by suggesting to GoSe directors to go skydiving is an ongoing tease. “Do you think that sounds funny/Do I look like I’m joking?” - Mingyu 🥹😭 They had Bungee Jumping Gose tho😆 and the fear was evident🥹 Just wanna add, since there are scenes there where Jeonghan keeps patting Hoshi’s head and keeps on praising him - Hoshi is JH’s favorite member to baby and spoil. Everyone called out JH for it. Seungkwan said “Why do you keep on spoiling Hoshi, hyung?😭”. Hoshi also acts like a baby bro alot to JH😆. Woozi dislikes physical affection but you’ll see random clips of him snuggling to JH for a hug too hehe. But Woozi hyung has a maknae he spoils too which is Vernon. They bond a lot because of composing and lyric writing. The Funny thing is, everyone’s favorite member to tease and make fun of is Dino🥹, the actual maknae. Dino is the oldest in his fam so I guess he was not used to acting like the baby bro. And Ghad, BBC media has me in fury. They never apologized to SVT and Woozi! They made a half ass attempt of apology by adding “however” after Carats shamed them. It was such a half ass apology considering Japanese Media believed the source since its BBC and reported it as well😤 And SVT really has nice vocals🥹 Live singing KPOP idols with a unique vocal are so rare now coming into the new gens. Greatest vocal brag by SVT is Fighting by BSS. Imagine having both the main vocalists in this subunit (DK and Seungkwan) but then proceeds to give the high note of the song to the main dancer (Hoshi). Like gaaahh! But yeahh, after hearing maestro, “La la la la lalalalala” was certainly in my head after! Suggestion: For live dancing + singing, can you watch MTV live or Kelly’s instead of KBS or Ingkigayo? The live vocals are cleaner since there are no backing tracks. I assume Carats love this live as well since it has a while lot of views. Like for example, “Left and right” in Kelly Clarkson’s show was a lot more cleaner and has nicer stage design. Got 21M and more views too in KC’s live in comparison to KBS which is 4.8M. In defense, L&R never goes wrong that the KBS one has certain child like design that I really love. For live singing, “It’s live” takes the cake😆

Another suggestion since we are gonna watch GoSe next: Can you please react to this short YT video called “SVT’s strategy when choosing teammates?” before watching the gose? https://youtu.be/p4seszFJoco?feature=shared It shows how SVT choose their groupmates in GoSe and why they don’t want or want certain members in a group. I think you might find certain one liners funny in GoSe after this. Brings light to certain interactions in GoSe, like for example, why Carats and Cubics were so shocked when Scoups betrayed JH and more. It is also a really really funny vid so if you have the time 🫣👉👈😽It is also a really funny video so it wil be a laugh! As you experienced, fan made YT edits brings more light to member relationships hehe 🫶 Thanks for the reaction familia! i feel like its just right to start their album reaction with 17 is right here and look at the diversity in their team between the hiphop, performance and vocal unit

there were also discussions on reddit about the concept of this song when it came out. the editors used ai in the preview (not in the actual mv tho), to show that ai has definite flaws. and though the attempt was good, some said that using ai to fight ai is kinda contradictory. personally, i disagree with that. what better way to make people understand other that showing them the evidence? it's a sensational move, but highly effective👌🏻

I hope we get album reactions too, I know they have so much incredible content that doing 1 music video and all its content takes up a lot, so maybe we can do it in different parts. I agree with the carat below of maybe starting with 17 right here as it includes all their greatest hits and also the new tracks show the incredible diversity of the three units plus all also have MV’s and are incredible live.
