Question of the day: Which level bunker would you sleep on?

We are continuing Jin's feature on Kian’s Bizarre B&B with episode 4! 🍛

In the last episode, we had new guests join us, 3 professional rock climbers (thank goodness, that second-floor entrance is no joke) and a carpenter! 🔨 Just when everyone finally got settled and cozy…it literally started raining on them mid-sleep, while they were sleeping outside 🌧️😭

I was refreshing your page since 3 hours ago, anxious for the next episode. I'm loving this program família! Btw, I love your hair today Marissol, it's beautiful

Zahia Bakhtiar

Yay, so excited to watch this with you familia!!

Shamya✨

I love watching this show with you guys. I’m sad that this Tuesday is the last batch of episodes this truly has become one of my fav Shows💕💕

Karla24.wintaebear

The part about eating with hands being weird and funny kinda offended me because my culture actually does that for gatherings and celebrations but I guess ignorance can't be helped. I commend Jin for being Kian's backbone so much. At least he isn't screaming like a banshee every episode unlike someone else I could mention. Lol

Amy Evans

Damn you really have it out for poor Ye-eun, you've commented on every video so far about her 😭, I think she's cute, I love what she brings to the team dynamic 😅

Karla24.wintaebear

Sorry Amy I just really do not like her. 😅 Something about her rubs me the wrong way, she's like Jin's opposite, the devil to his angel. 😅

Amy Evans

They are polar opposites 😂

Jenn

Same im not here for the yeeun hate at all, I love her! I’m really loving the dynamic between her and Jin 😭 she’s seems like a genuine good person, same with Kian and of course Jin. and she’s really nice and attentive with the guest which is another reason why I appreciate her being on this show.

Jazzy

The thing is, it might be a part of your culture but not theirs, so I think a little understanding goes a long way, especially because we're all surrounded by different cultures growing up. As a Filipino, who would rather use my hand than utensils, I simply found it funny and lighthearted haha. Personally, I think Ye-eun really adds to the show's dynamic; glad to know the others agree! love the bickering between her and Jin :)

mel

when you’re used to always using utensils when you’re eating it’s just veery different to not use them suddenly. especially when it’s something hot you’re eating. i truly think that’s all it was.

Jazzy

If you have germaphobe tendencies, I would not suggest watching "I Live Alone" episodes of Kian Hehe. That man is anything but "clean." He does things to an extreme level, but that's his charm, if that makes any sense. A hilarious watch, though!

veenak

love rewatching this with you familia💜 also Jin announced a whole tour omg let’s gooo😭 Qotd: I would definitely sleep on the top one!!

Jin being so firm and uncompromising I think is a Bangtan trait. Like those boys have said so many times that they never compromised on performance, never half-assed anything just because they were tired or because it was hard or because they thought it might fail...I guess that's the kind of mindset you have to have to come through what Bangtan has with as healthy a mindset and as successful a legacy. It's so great to see. It makes me really proud of him. That being said, I'm kind of with Kian and Ye-eun on making the place more accessible. I'm such a hospitality person and I HATE asking people to do things that might put them out or make them uncomfortable or get them hurt. I would have found a way to make some concessions quick. Like I'd encourage people to use the climbing wall and sleep outside but I'd try to make sure there were accommodations for people who were really uncomfortable with it. Also, as someone who is not particularly fit, I think even if you can do it but you need a lot of help, it might be embarrassing or awkward to rely on others and have your struggle known to the world of viewers...so I'd cut them some slack, too. But I love this variety show. I think it's my favorite that any of the boys have done in Chapter 2. I want 10 more episodes. haha

Karla24.wintaebear

Yeah thanks guys but I think I can feel my own feelings without people trying to tell me how to feel. 😅

Aning

I think there's nothing to be offended about it because it's their first time trying eating with their hands.

veenak

see the thing is they were stereotyping certain culture.. it’s the same as stereotyping black culture (like portraying eating corn bread, collard greens) or any other culture.. I don’t wanna go there.. he keeps repeatedly saying it’s Indian culture while washing clothes with legs, eating noodles with hands later on (like seriously? who even eats noodles with hands?) and yeeun being all weird about it even after kian saying it’s a particular culture he has seen, but still she was being weird about it! I get it’s their first time eating with hands but there are people who actually do that and still being weird after knowing that is not funny idk it’s just cultural appropriation!

Karla24.wintaebear

Thank you for understanding where I'm coming from Veenak!!!

𝐃𝐁🕊⃤

Eating with your hands is the right way to eat food. Kian84 experienced it and is addicted to it and he's making others do it so that they can also experience it. To eat using utensils is like making love to someone using an interpreter.

Karla24.wintaebear

Yes another great point 貴方の ミーム thank you!!

DesLunAl DLA

that is some weird thing to say about someone you don’t know

Karla24.wintaebear

Isn't that what everyone does when reacting to shows? Let's not get on a moral pedestal now. 😅

J-Lee

I do agree with everything you said. This is also my most fave show right now. Never a dull moment! But on another note, Jin might be looking after the concept of the show as well. There won't be a lot of content if things were too easy for the guests. There won't be a lot to see when they're just walking in and out of the b&b. It was called "bizarre b&b" for a reason. The Netflix staff must've been careful on which guests to pick, and for sure safety protocols were there 24/7. So I'm glad they did not compromise and that Jin was there to keep Kian in check so they stay firm on what the show was about. It added to the fun, at the same time, the guests were properly (quite lol) attended to.

J-Lee

I am a Filipino too and it's part of our culture to use our hands in eating 😊 So I can understand that some don't feel the same as us when it comes to using the hands in eating. I was actually feeling the urge to teach Jin and the rest how to properly use the hands in eating. Kian wasn't even doing it right 😅 And I personally love Ye-eun. I think even if she couldn't do some things, she's not afraid to be 'ugly' or embarrassing in front of everyone. If it was some other girl idols, I bet all they would care about was their makeup or fashion. But Ye-eun is a simple girl. And she was trying her best too. She's just a bit clumsy, therefore the need for her oppa Kian and Jin to take care of her. So please no hate on Ye-eun. Even Jin mentioned this in their press conference. Let's not be one of those who embarrass BTS in front of their colleagues. 💜

J-Lee

Please no hate on Ye-eun. Even Jin mentioned this in their press conference. Ye-eun said she tried to keep her distance from Jin because she didn't want to get cursed at. And Jin didn't like this. He said he tries to approach everyone to make them feel comfy and prove them wrong of what they think about BTS. He trusts ARMY that we won't be like that. Let's not be one of those who embarrass BTS in front of their colleagues. 💜

Karla24.wintaebear

Lol I don't hate her because of Jin. It's purely because of her.

J-Lee

Qotd: I'd love Jin's space, the height was just right. I don't think I can take a top bunker 😅

𝐃𝐁🕊⃤

You can watch adventure by accident season 2 once you're done with this.

bembolbee

Same, plus you dint get rained on hehe

Shamya✨

I’m so ready to watch the next eps with you guys they r my personal favorites👍🏽👍🏽💕💕

pas douée pour les pseudos

My favorite moment of this episode was, like Uthman, Kian's and Jin's interactions, so wholesome! Honorable mentions were when the guests figured out they'd have to eat with their hands (I love that Jin made sure to implement Kian's vision even if he was not here) and also to see the KAIST guys shine when they're in their element (especially because as a science girl with not much physical strength they're the ones I relate the most)

J-Lee

Familia, you'll soon find out why Jin was so concerned about losing his slippers 😅 Now I understand why he had to scold Ye-eun for taking them 😂

𝐃𝐁🕊⃤

Jin is the perfect member from BTS to do this show with Kian. Other than Jin, there's JK who is just as outgoing but Kian and JK won't match...personality wise. Suga and Kian are weirdly perfect but Suga isn't as lively as Jin. Suga and Kian can definitely do a travel show together. Jin, on the other hand, is perfect for this show and format.

Camilla

thanks :)

Honestly, the amusing parts of the show for me was the part where they all learn to eat with their hands. I can totally understand the sensory overload when you have never done something like that before. But coming from the South-east Asian country, we eat with our hands for most of our meals, especially with rice. It's a norm that we have never considered it unusual. Like some of the other comments here, I feel like I want to show them the right way to do it without making a mess or having food all over your hand. There's a technique to it where you only use your fingers. But I like it when they realize, for the most part, you 'feel' the food more and somehow could savor it more. Now that there's more variety of food available from all around the world, people could choose to stick to using their hands or use cutleries as and when they like. I may be bias here (since Jin is my bias) but I feel Jin has always been this way even with the members. He's accommodating and reliable nature even to people he just met shows how kind-hearted and sincere he is. He pushes you to reach your goals but at the same time he's not afraid to ride along through the difficulties. He's truly a precious soul. I'm so happy that I can appreciate knowing there's someone like him.

Arab make the rice in the stove, but I always told my mother that I wanted it a rice cooker because I don’t know how to cook rice and the rice cooker makes it better in my opinion.

J2OD

I am shocked reading some comments because I personally don’t see the reason to hate Ye-eun! I guess if I was in the program, they would hate me too 🤣🤣 because I relate to her so much about being afraid! I would be a hundred percent! a lot of people are brave and OK with heights but not everybody has it and that’s OK. She’s so genuine and funny! And about eating with our hands, us Arabs has this culture too, my mom often eats with her hand, but me and my brother could never because we don’t like to touch food with our hands and that’s fine. We didn’t disrespect our culture by refusing to do that. It’s just everyone has different perspectives.

Jazzy

I know this was days ago, but Kian actually had another variety/travel show, "Adventure by Accident," where he and 2 other people experienced India, both the beauty and the chaos of it, firsthand. So I wouldn't say he was saying those with a bad intent, as he really did all those during the trip (eating with hands, washing the laundry manually, etc.) From what I saw back then, he was respectful throughout the filming and was willing to immerse himself in the culture.

I've been part of the familia since the beginning of the channel but I only joined the Patreon famila yesterday, and I'm so excited for all the content I have to watch. And to answer the rice question, as a Mexican, in my family we cook rice in a pot, and plain white rice isn't that common. At least in my family, we almost always eat "red rice," Idk the name, but the one with tomato.
