If you’ve been missing Yoongi like we have, then today's episode is going to be special and also a reminder as to why he is so loved. ✨💜

Today's special guest is Min Hyun and we were actually first introduced to him back in Game Caterers x HYBE, he was very quiet among the chaos 😂, so we didn’t get to know him much… until now. As always SUGA brought that calm, comforting energy that brings out the best in his guests. ✨We learned so much about Min Hyun and his dual life as both a singer and an actor

Hope you enjoy this interview just as much as we did familia and we’ll see you soon for Jhope’s collaboration with Le Sserafim!

Question of the day: Are you familiar with Min Hyun? If you are, what’s your favorite work of his? Do you know him more as a singer or actor?

Yes! I’ve known Min Hyun since Wanna One, and later from NU’EST. I also loved him in Alchemy of Souls! He’s such a talented and charming person🩵!

MexineseFamily

wow you've known him for quite some time! we learned a lot about him in todays episode thanks to yoongi 😍 would you recommend Alchemy of Souls?

Yuli

Yes, I totally recommend it! It’s one of my favourite k-dramas.

Guillermo Mendez

I really enjoyed him in Study Group and Alchemy of Souls!

I missed Suchwita so much! I'm excited to watch it! QOTD: Back then, I watched the second season of Produce 101, the show that created Wanna One (2017), so I'd known Minhyun since then. After the show, I found out that he was part of Nu'est and was shocked to realize that, although he is the same age as Jimin and Tae ('95 liner), and Wanna One only debuted in 2017, he was actually a sunbae to them since Nu'est debuted in 2012 lol

Raíssa

I know him from Alchemy of souls, and then I found out he was an idol too

simran

I admire Min Hyun a lot...he is a great actor....a very beautiful and talented Idol (i remember him being in Wanna One with Park Jihoon ahaha) and he gives off a very calm and humble energy.... I hope after WLGYT you get to watch his latest drama Study Group...its only 10 ep...its a Manga Adaptation

simran

Its a great drama familia...you should definitely give it a try...but Min Hyun is not a lead in that I really wish you guys watch Study Group with him...its such a fun show

Bulletproof Girl

Thank you for this familia! I didnt even know he was an idol if you hadnt mention he was on game caterers. I had totally forgotten because i know him more as an actor. A lot of people has a crush on him eversince Alchemy of Souls. You might want to watch that as your next kdrama. It's fantasy romantic comedy and you will see familiar faces like Jin's friend is there and Min Hyun. Try watching a trailer of it. It has 2 seasons though.

QOTD: yes I am familiar with minhyun. I knew him as an actor first before learning he was an idol. I loved him in study group, I’ve also watched alchemy souls and I’m currently watching my lovely liar.

qotd: i'm pretty familiar with him! i love his songs with nuest, solo and his dramas! i knew him as a singer first but i like some of his dramas too, and i recommend study group as some other comments do! i also recommend you guys listen/watch a performance of hello by nuest, the song that namjoon used to sing all the time LOL i think i commented this before when we watched game caterers x hybe together, but nuest was such a talented group, and their debut was pretty strong for coming from a small company. they had a couple hits, but never quite broke into the mainstream. several nuest members appeared on produce 101 s2 (survival show), but only minhyun made it to the final lineup at the time (and debuted as wanna one). they joined that survival show to gain more attention for nuest, which somewhat worked but they never reached maximum success. wanna one was a short term contract group, so once the contract expired, minhyun returned to nuest. they were moderately successful but ended up disbanding. however, since they did not disband because of a bad relationship with members, all of them are still close friends and hang out/talk. another member of nuest was baekho (also in game caterers) and he left hybe a little while after that. anyway LOL all of that is just to say that minhyun and nuest worked so hard and never got to enjoy the full success from their years of hard work, so i think yoongi really feels for him. especially because bts also worked so hard and came from a small company, they really know how it feels to be in that position. bts has always supported those from smaller companies in this way. i loved this exchange between them and i really want suchwita to come back too. also, minhyun looks young because he is relatively young ! even though he debuted in 2012, he is a little younger than yoongi (he's born in 1995!)
