Familia we are back with episode 15 of When Life Gives You Tangerines titled, A Spring Every Day. 🌸🌷

In this episode there was so much character development especially from the ex chief and Gwan Sik, yet we’re still left with so many questions ..😭 like how are they going to wrap all of this up in the finale tomorrow?! 😩

In episode 14, we saw Eun Myeon wrongfully jailed because of his crook friend Cheol Yeong, and the only way to bail him out was by selling Gwan Sik beloved boat. 💔

But even after everything, they still found hope... Ae-sun returned to poetry, Gwan Sik made a risky move for his family, and Gum Myeong started thinking of new business ideas! 💡📈

We're anticipating the finale with you tomorrow, but we're also not sure if we are ready.. 🫣

Frankly that ex chief got on my nerves - but seeing his situation before his side of the story, even tho he tries to act tough, i remembered some tings, we may not like someone's behavior but den that maybe a result of wat that person went thru while growing up it cud be defense mechanism or d person becomes immune to recognizing what is correct or incorrect coz he had no one to put him in his place when he took the wrong steps so if he's changing fr d better, do what gwanshik is doing... Getting him to be more better. and giving him a second chance... difficuilt to like such a person butwe all have some imperfections and wud want someone to do that for us too wer we lack. so i think of that. When Picasso Said No more children he meant we are having only one child seeing all the pain Geumyeong went thru while delivering Sae bom.

To add a bit more about the restaurant scene — Lee Byung-hun was the lead actor in a popular drama 2003 in Korea, called All In, and he actually has a huge fan base in Japan. The background music you hear in that scene is also from the drama’s original soundtrack. More recently, he appeared on Netflix as the Front Man in Squid Game and voiced Gui-Ma in KPDH. Cannot believe this has one episode left. Thank you ෆ

Uthman quoting the great philosopher Miley Cyrus was not on my bingo card. QOTD: I don’t feel bad for the chief because he’s facing the consequences of his own actions. However, I can acknowledge that it must be upsetting to be in his position…….. but again, that position was self made, so 🤷‍♀️

QOTD: I don’t feel bad for the chief at all. Just because he ‘tried’ somewhat only in some situations and very very late in life, I think does not make him any better of a person. By then, the vulnerabilities of his family members are all crushed. So now that he is vulnerable, everyone is just being what he was mostly in their lives ‘absent’. As someone who has a 90% similar father (minus the cheatings), it is impossible for the family to forgive this ever in their lives. Yes, you begin to understand some struggles but that’s it.

When Picasso said, “there won’t be a next one 😭😭😭” — I took it to mean as, in that moment he’s saying that he doesn’t want another child after how difficult childbirth was for his wife.
