Happy Sunday garlic familia!! 👋 🧄 We're so excited to be spending our foreseeable Sundays with you! 😜

Today we'll be jumping into one of Seventeen's FIRST variety shows together from 2016! 🙌Familia compared this to Svt's In the Soop, Nana Tour, and Nana Bnb variety shows which we really enjoyed and makes us even more excited for this! 😜

Cool to learn that this show came out less than a year after their debut documentary 17 Project! Our journey is already connecting ✨

We were honestly so happy seeing how excited they were to finally get a group vacation after countless hours spent practicing in that basement

....BUT then we got halfway through the episode... 🤨 iykyk

We're already looking forward to episode 2 next Sunday but before that we'll see you on Wednesday for V8's album fun! See you then familia 👋 hope you enjoy 😘

SEVENTEEN GUIDE

It feels so good to be here on a Sunday! It’s been so many years since I last watched One Fine Day, so it’s going to be amazing to rewatch it and pick up on things I definitely missed back then. Yeah, One Fine Day was a popular show among idols where they’d get sent on vacation, and SEVENTEEN was actually the youngest group in the industry to get their own season! Except they got handed the survival version 😭 These kids really had no peace during their rookie years 😭😭😭 Now you'll completely understand why the members keep mentioning "Yeosodo" in future content, they bring it up all the time. They were traumatized, and honestly, with good reason 😭 It's also so funny to see how certain dynamics between the members haven't changed at all over the years, like S.Coups bickering with Mingyu lol 😂

Thank you so much for the reaction familia—my Mondays just got better. ❤️ Fun trivia! In Nana Tour, if you remember the game Whispering in Silence. Jun and Hoshi were teammates, and Jun tried hinting at the show they were watching—the island near Jeju—but Hoshi couldn’t guess it. 😭 The term “Kwon Fire” used for Hoshi during in the soop s1 also comes from this show. You’ll soon see why! 😂 This is also why I was skeptical at first. The boys thought they were getting a well-deserved vacation after their trainee years and debut, only to be tricked into this. 😭 But in the end, it helped them grow closer and build their family-like bond. ❤️ Also sad news, Hoshi recently suffered a complete ACL tear while practicing in the military, and will have to undergo surgery (same injury like S.Coups in 2023). Wishing our tiger a smooth and speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹🐯

It’s honestly so fun and touching to see SEVENTEEN’s journey over the last ten years. ❤️ This was just a year after their debut, when they expected a nice, luxurious vacation like the idols before them, only to be cast away and made to struggle for the entire “vacation.” 😭 Fast-forward to 2023 and Nana Tour—they were mentally prepared for exactly that, only to get a ridiculously relaxed and luxurious trip instead. 😂 The irony is hilarious, but it’s also so wholesome to see how far they’ve come.

O

No seriously through this series you guys will find out why they love Na PD's shows cause this one kinda traumatized them 😭

byeol

This show just makes me appreciate Na PD more 😭

noura

I enjoyed this very much and i can't wait to see ur reaction to the rest of the series! Guys at the end of every episode there is little clips that they show which is not previews so u can watch them, They are like extra clips from the same episode!

2026-09-19 17:00 qotd: i have watched One Fine Day, but i haven't watched it the 2nd time. i felt bad seeing them 'suffer' 😭 the name carat was announced at 14 February 2016, which is the Valentine's day! it's officially counted as our birthday. last year svt even posted a song as a present, and it's a great sweet song! give it a listen anytime you're free familia 😉 https://youtu.be/FIxMEKNIVVA?si=6mIqiTswyT0Cgkwi

✨Hanniehae✨

They named the fandom carat in feb 14 2016 during their first concert and they named it after their debut album “17 carat” Thats why carats birthday is on feb 14

Thank you for the reaction, and yeah, this show is just... I feel bad for the boys ㅠㅠ They are gonna have a hard time, and they were just babies ㅠㅠㅠ Also, it's cute how Marisol was like Coups! Solve this haha. Cuz we do too hehe. Also, ukw, Wonu, he can't have seafood, like, he's not allergic, but it makes him queasy (I think). So he's barely eaten anything since their lunch was also seafood. As someone who hates seafood myself, I just feel so bad for him. I can at least eat something if push comes to shove, as I just don't like the taste, but he rarely does. Regarding the SVT logo, yes, it's a 1 and 7, even the current one, but it also does look like a diamond hehe. The Carat logo is also similar, but it's kinda a C. https://mir-s3-cdn-cf.behance.net/project_modules/1400_webp/49f9f5144228879.6291ce8c0979b.jpg As for Carat's name, I think we got our name on 14th Feb 2016, and 14th Feb is also Carat Day btw. So Coups was like, since we fans are the ones who make them shine the most, we are their carats. Their Shining Diamond also already had "Carat" in the lyrics btw, and the first official album is called 17Carat, though back then it was not our fandom name! And personally to me, it feels like it's kinda a play on diamonds also cuz the more carat a diamond has, the better it is, I think? So yeah haha. Here's a short clip of the announcement; it was during their Boys Wish encore concert. Boys Wish was their first concert held in Dec 2015, and the encore was in Feb 2016: https://youtu.be/RlGHXNCnnnc?si=eb73GhwFRgfL5krh Thank you, and see you in the next content~ Also, QOTD: I have watched this before. Once by myself, and I think twice through the reactions, but yeah, I don't watch it much by myself haha; only reactions now hehe.

SEVENTEEN GUIDE

Not sure if you already have all the links for the V8 reaction, but here are some in case it helps... Vernon actually collaborated on THE8’s music before V8 was born. Minghao mentioned that he trusts Vernon a lot because they have very similar music taste. A while ago, when Minghao released an EP, it included a track featuring Vernon: 54321 (Lift Off) lyrics: https://youtu.be/qYmrNKKi8pI?si=wR6cjhSPHF-osaPy Then THE8 convinced Vernon to form a sub-unit, and that’s how V8 started: 1. FRIEND Lyrics: https://youtu.be/X5WZ1mp46LI?si=KHN6RMmWlRKTMAwC The intro sample is actually a clip of a young Minghao on TV when he was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he answered "a star": https://x.com/d4r1ene_/status/2071561412439425307?s=20 There’s no official MV, but they released a tour recap video set to the song that feels just like an MV if you'd like to check it out: https://youtu.be/yLsFAU4YFk0?si=5n2oCzJT7yeZhydG (The tour was clubbing-themed—instead of standard venue seating, they did party-style club shows with everyone standing and THE8 acting as the DJ! Major FOMO lol) 2. BEAT Lyrics: https://youtu.be/l2WgTarPoYM?si=-21hA3MT8UhFovLe 3. SINGASONG MV + Lyrics: https://youtu.be/pBpr9TnhhkE?si=NS0LnSFO86m9CFtT Dance Practice: https://youtu.be/zsdueA_zcl8?si=gJ5wPTHOIAm-fYqP Live Performance: https://youtu.be/k3tYOaUoT_A?si=-rQTkqGmLmEBjaAM 4. MIA MV + Lyrics: https://youtu.be/ltZuC48-PuQ?si=fJtBmWJx8EaGFSKb 5. COLORING Lyrics: https://youtu.be/SimiV3tJJOU?si=mgMA9gXN63dvnSqh 6. GIRLSNBOYS Lyrics: https://youtu.be/P2i1RypX6eY?si=5ThN3lwo9gtHJ8-k MV: https://youtu.be/pGxN5BYWssU?si=gT6KBH2KKKWVQDyZ 7. 8DM MV + Lyrics: https://youtu.be/dNimGCqZOI0?si=gWDh57SbHDb0sbVO 8. Rat Race Lyrics: https://youtu.be/XTOQ093I6Bc?si=imPS6sF9L5xtOU-Y Live Performance: https://youtu.be/ILTqhKr6XbM?si=WnNGEj9DEAetCqS2 I wasn't sure if you wanted to include the live stage performances for every track since they're all from their tour, or if you prefer saving those for when you react to the full concert in the future. Enjoy! 🫶

Tbh One Fine Day is a hard watch for me 😭 there are so many moments I'm so frustrated with the staff but unfortunately this is how the older idols were treated back then for the sake of "entertainment" I'm just glad the members can laugh about it now and it's nice to see you guys enjoying it. Honestly I've been silently watching your videos here and I don't usually comment but I'm so thankful you decided to add another slot for svt content every week. It feels like svt is really one of your ult groups now! I'm looking forward to your next uploads! ❤️

I saw OFD before I decided to become a fan of SVT.
