We felt like this Kdrama was building up to something huge but we did not expect this 😳😭

this episode is why i said i really want to hate hyena but couldnt.. life is so unfair to her, we understand why she behaved the way she did, she shouldnt have ended up the way she did, but she wasnt really an angel either. i mean, relatively compared to soo lim, woo joo, and hwang chiyoung family. on a completely different note, from a writer's standpoint, i completely understand the narrative decision.

How come y'all always feeling bad for So-Jin? Hye-Na is LITERALLY on her own, SoJin brought all that on herself. She LITERALLY took HyeNa's mom's place, did we forget that? She "took care" of the girlfriend her mother in law "couldn't deal with, grandma said that on a previous episode. Give me a break. The law of recopricity is a thing. You can't f** ppl over and expect to go on living your life with no consequences. It always comes back to bite you. Granted, Hye-Na's in So-Jin's house, she should try to respect it. And I said "try." Put her in the basement? Leave her food by the door on the floor? What is she, a dog? I guess I'm triggered, cause I can relate.

I understand hyena the most tbh. Like imagine growing up without a dad, a sick mom you have to nurse, and economic hardship. Only to find out that your dad literally has a whole family, doesn’t care to find out about you, his wife and other daughter treat you like trash and worst of all your mother died like? She is literally living like a second-rate human being in her own dad’s house. I definitely think she likes woojoo but after everything she’s been through, she is unable to bury her resentment and focus on a boy. You could literally see right before yesuh showed up that she was going to be honest about her feelings but as soon as yesuh showed up, she was reminded about suhjin’s humiliation from the night before. If we can understand and excuse grown adults for constantly messing up and harming their kids, we can understand and forgive hyena’s acting out. Personally I think she is the most tragic character in this show by far and with the saddest end fr.
