FAMILIA, WE NEED YOUR HELP! (Patreon)

Long story short, our videos have been getting a lot of traction on Vimeo and they are wanting us to pay $18,000 to upgrade our plan or risk termination of our account!!!

We are wondering if our beautiful familia know any other platforms we can upload our reactions to? Our familia watching on Daily Motion have no problems here, but any help would mean a lot :)

Dailymotion is great for me. I have seen reactors use google drive before too.

Google drive has a limit per day. What about Dropbox, I’ve heard some reactors are using it because of the high cost of Vimeo.

i know some use ok.ru, reactors and reuploaders (like qdeoks or miintae) alike so things are usually good there!

I think OK.ru works. Since qdeoks often upload their files there. Im not sure abt the terms and conditions there. But miintae and qdeoks often post their videos on the site/app So it might be worth checking out.

i’ve heard that a lot of reactors are having this problem with vimeo which is sad cus everyone is having to switch to a different platform now😭 i wouldn’t recommend Google Drive because they only let a certain amount of people watch it at a time which is annoying. maybe Dropbox would work?

18k... yikes! Anyways google drive isn’t a good idea cause it doesn’t allow more than a certain number of views per day, it is incredibly annoying to deal with both for the consumers and the creators. Dropbox is okay I think? Otherwise I’ve seen people use sites like Bitchute

I watch on Dailymotion, but another person I subscribe to on Patreon uses Dropbox and it seems to work well. Sorry I don’t have more info. that’s definitely shitty on Vimeo’s part.

You could upload it to youtube but on private so only people with the patreon link can view it like the first season of bon voyage or stick to daily motion or google drive works too but it only allows a certian amount of people to view it sometimes. But i wouldn't use dropbox u have to download the video or only a certain amount of people can view it, i hope you can work it out xx 💜💜

im not quite sure about this one... but try Google docs or google drive? I'm just not quite sure how big of a video you could upload on those...

It's good that your video gets popular. Why don't you put dailymotion link ahead of vimeo? People just click the button with no attention because vimeo is located ahead.

This is actually something that is happening with creators all across Patreon. Vimeo is asking to charge crazy amounts and many creators are having to switch platforms or split between multiple ones. Other platforms you can try include google drive, dropbox, ok.ru, dailymotion, mega.nz, or streamable.

Just gonna say this right now - don't use google drive. You guys have well over a thousand patreons so the videos will for sure exceed the view limit on googe drive. Try ok.ru as a replacement for vimeo but also keep Dailymotion as a second option

What about YouTube ? Idk how some do it but some ppl I watch on Patreon upload their vids to YouTube sometimes and they’re still private to only Patreons.

dailymotion is ok, or youtube, but access only with link? ok.ru works for many , but in my country ok.ru is blocked, so personally I will have some issues with that.

Same thing also happens in one of the patreons (murisan and say what reacts). I say cut their bs and do them somewhere else. Don't go with their custom plan. I think they are doing this cause they know you are on patreon

You could create a website and upload mp4s to it. You can make the website (or each page on the website) private by adding a password. There are several platforms you can do it on, both free and not. If you go with the not-free one, the subscription price rate would be very small tho.

This is happening to a lot of people with Vimeo! You are not the only ones who are getting the squeeze by them. The site I've heard a lot of people are using (other then dailymotion) is ok.ru. I just had another patreon I support start using ok.ru because the same thing happened to them with vimeo.

Another patreon that I support uses Dropbox and that seems to work absolutely perfectly! ok.ru and YouTube (Privately/Link Only) are some other good options 💜 I'm so sad that this is happening with Vimeo though as it's always worked soooo so much better than Dailymotion and it's the one that I always use! 💔

Unfortunately viemo has been doing that to alot of reactors. They trying to make you pay more .Ridiculous! Are you able to make another account besides mexinese family on viemo ? Like a uthman account on viemo. Just use a different card to pay that is not the same one from your mexinese account.

Sorry to hear about that 🥺 18k is an absurd amount of money!! Dailymotion works fine for me or try ok.ru, or private on YouTube and only people with link can view. I know a lot of people are suggesting Google drive but it only allows a certain amount of playbacks which means all the familia won’t be able to watch the video. Hopefully everything gets sorted out and you find a good platform to upload your videos.

i suggest youtube and private it for run bts and some other content that doesn't get blocked, and then for future bon voyages/in the soop, i suggest dropbox and i think you can put a password.

The same thing happened to Track pop reactor. There is no way out of it.Vimeo is stupid like that. Private youtube is the best option. I saw quite a lot of people having problems with ok.ru.

Familia! This literally just happened to another patreon reactor and youtube I follow and a month after they got this notice even though they didn't upload anymore videos at all to vimeo since they got the email their account was deleted by vimeo if they hadn't backed up all their videos on hard drives they would all be gone right now. Make sure you guys have all your videos saved and backup incase they do this to you.
