Dailymotion: Part1 Part 2

Dropbox: Part 1 Part 2

Password: "run"

Familia we are back to discovering more beautiful music by our one and only BTS!💜

In today's album reaction we are going to be learning about the first 4 tracks on the album, yes we have already seen some of these videos, but you guys always rewatch things with us so we wanted to do the same for you. :)

Plus it was over a year ago since we watched Run and Butterfly MV, so we have a new perspective now that we are not baby armies lol 😂

Woohoo!! Was waiting for this the whole week!!! Let's go, I'm so excited for your reaction QOTD: my all time favorite song is Ma city, sad that you will not react to it today, because I'm really hyped for it haha

corLeonis

Not gonna lie but I love all songs from this album

Carol 💜

família, the dailymotion link is not working i think??

deejebekosmos⁷

Yesss familia thank you for rewatching 💜💜 QOTD: BAEPSAE and MA CITY but I love all of them 🥺💜💜. BTW, I’m catching up on your Rise Of Bangtan ep5 so I’ll watch this after!! 💜. Have a great night familia

Maria Luíza Mota

Familiaaa, when will you guys react to BTS on You Quiz?? And will it be here or on Youtube? :) can’t wait for you guys to see it :)

paige

Yayyy i was waiting for this, butterfly / run / house of cards and baepsae are my favourite songs on this album but all the songs are really good, are you guys gonna also react to the Japanese albums too there really good xx 💜💜

MexineseFamily
>>56563363

Thank you so much for your support 🥺 we hope you enjoy both reactions and we hope you’re having a nice night yourself 💜

Jai Smiles

was looking forward to this all week! aaahhhhhh this is one of my fave albums so idk if I can choose a favorite from it....maybe....Autumn Leaves? Butterfly? Ma City? I can't decide....

Gianne

been waiting for this hahaha thanks familia!!! <3<3

essi

I always wondered if you had listened to yoongi's d-2 mixtape yet or not, and you thinking they don't curse anymore answers for me 😂 can't wait for you to get to it. it's one of my all time favourite albums

Jai Smiles
>>56563762

also, uthman's fashion reminds me of that one awards show that namjoon was wearing something sort of similar?!?!

pluto

I haven't watched the reaction but I wanna say this. I'm sure you guys have noticed Jimin got a 'Nevermind' tattoo on his chest/ribcage. in nevermind (yoongi's verse) there's this lyric in Nevermind ''Nevermind, It's not easy but engrave it onto your chest. If you feel like you're going to crash then accelerate more, you idiot." This is just a theory of mine.

essi

remember that the lyrics aren't related to the storyline videos. the creators of the storyline do take lyrics and themes where it suits and use them for the storyline, but the message the boys and the other songwriters are telling is very much separate from the storyline.

damla

YAYYYY THANK U🥳💜

T

Oh you guys reacted to one of the butterfly stages jk wasn't it. There are some videos of him in it, I think the most viewed one he is in. I don't think anyone did his parts though. You can hear his voice and see that no on else is singing it. Thank you for reacted to it tho bc I love the choreo!

deejebekosmos⁷

Familia I came to learn that there are some numbers on that blue train in the RUN MV and ARMYs always find a way to bring back that blue train and connect it to BTS comebacks, just for jokes😂😂

essi

man that camera work for run was terrible did you guys get dizzy as well? 😂😂 and jk wasn't in that butterfly performance, he had the flu i believe. there are so many other ones with him in it. and no one sung his lines and they didn't change the choreo, his space is open. is there anyone who knows really good live performances that want to send links for them to use?? also did you read the lyrics for run? the most common fan theory for butterfly that i know of is that it's about someone wanting to commit suicide. i've never heard someone say it'd be good for a wedding, it's so sad

Jai Smiles

hey familia, just a quick note the scene after Tae's opening in the on stage: prologue, where the boys meet up...it's actually a flashback...the scenes are not in order...

essi

yup, that's the explanation you read at the beginning. because of the different frequency other whales cannot hear them, so they're lonely. they use it to talk about how no one could hear bts but they found army. that's why bts uses whale imagery to symbolise army all the time since this song namjoon recently said they feel like outsiders in the music industry, so i think they do still feel that way. but they know army can hear them

Amlyse Lyseam⁷ OT7

I always tell people this era was the beginning and one of the most beautiful moment in my life because thats when I officially became an A.R.M.Y. This was my 1st comeback and I never turned back. I'm so happy you're reacting to this. Listening to this again brought back memories; how dark my life was before and how bright it became after meeting hyyh pt. 2. Love y'all 💜💜

Holly-Jayne

QOTD: Nevermind will always be my most favourite song from both this album and of all time in general 🥺💜

Ellie

they weren't poor at this stage, they definitely had money butterfly without JK is not the same :/

Lux

- cheoreom - because Korean sentence structure is nearly the opposite of English sentence structure, "cheoreom" actually means "just like" - the proper sentence structure in Korean is typically stating the subject of the sentence first, then the action - for example, in English, we'd say "run to your goal", whereas in Korean, it'd be said "your goal, run towards" - I hate to say it this way, but it is very similar to the way Yoda structures his speech - at the beginning of On Stage Prologue, Tae says "Hyung, choei chingu bogoshipoyo" - translates to "Big brother, I miss my friends" - and what Namjoon writes in the mirror with his breath - "We must survive somehow"

Red Velvet (Monica)

Qotd: Run, Baepsae and Autumn Leaves. Honestly all their albums are so good so i cant choose 1 favorite song. Excited for part 2. 😁

damla

yes familia there is actually another butterfly performance where they are all complete! wish u saw that one😭 but its okay this one was beautiful too💜

Vero

On the question of the day, I can't never choose just one song from their albums as I love their songs when I'm in different types of moods.... About what Uthman said I don't know if I would put butterfly in my wedding hahaha I interpret that song with two things butterfly effect and the Kafka on the shore book and they seem like a harsh reality for my own wedding... Then for the whalien 52 song I take the song as a way in which BTS tells us that they feel lonely in the industry and that their words seem to not reach far away even if they try to scream that's why on the bulletproof the eternal song when the whale came and the song went with the lyrics " we were only seven but we have you all now" it was killer emotionally.

laura

familia will you be reacting to BTS' appearance on TNV You Quiz show that just aired recently? The original channel has put all videos up with english subs. They play games and meet a hardcore army its so funny and adorable. Their solo interviews are very heartfelt and deep, although they were shortened, we are still waiting for the full unit interviews to be uploaded with subs. (those are up to +19 minutes long)

Vero
>>56569586

By the way I tried to look and it seems that you haven't seen this performance... it was an end of year without Rm because he hurt his hand if I do remember correctly. They performed a mix and match of i need you and run with a lit intro by suga and jk https://youtu.be/-AOfgth8twI

lucy

oh no i wish you guys watched the whalien 52 live in korea not the japan one😥 it's really meaningful song for them like the above Vero's comment explained. especially in korea hyyh concert, they all looked super emotional when they sang this. and taehyung eventually burst into tears while singing. i really wish u guys watched that exact performance cuz you can see the emotion so you could really feel the song so much better. can u plsss include this stage next time? https://www.rubberdeokies.com/epilogue#p2 ❗the performance start from 12:36 of p2. also make sure to set the quality 1080p! :)

Cheyenne
>>56571679

I totally agree with everything you said lucy. This entire concert is held dear to my heart and still remains to be my favourite along with wings. It was extremely emotional for the boys and army. So much love was in that arena.

SNBangtan
>>56564340

I was coming here to comment the same thing. I don't know if the placement was based on that line but it makes a lot of sense to me so I've always assumed that Jimin chose to engrave "Nevermind" on his chest as Yoongi advised. Beautiful.

SKim

This era is so epic, the music and the hair! Forever stanning Namjoon's pink hair/yellow glasses look. Also, I love watching your growing love for Hitman Bang. lol.

Joanna

There is a saying that Butterfly is a song for comforting the people who want to commit suicide. In The Rise of Bangtan video, you guys know that Korea has high suicide rates. So if the saying is true, Butterfly is definitely the most powerful and beautiful BTS song in my opinion.

Rows P

Since this is part of the BU storyline, I think it's best to check out the updated version of xceleste BU storyline summary 2020 because the one you reacted on was the one from 2019. This will be beneficial prior to watching the Filmout MV coming out soon because it is also connected.

Kassie Lajara

awesome!!! this album is amazing!

Kassie Lajara

Familia, will you be watching American Hustle Life soon? here on Patreon or Youtube? or is it here already, I just haven't seen it?

Diyana

WHY I DIDN'T GET THE NOTIFICATION?!!! I COULD WATCH THIS DURING MY LUNCH HOUR!! NOW I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL OFFICE HOUR FINISH 😭😭 another 4 hours to go

carina

I couldn't stop laughing when you guys mentioned how it looked like a drama about youth called "Youth" because they are making the bts universe into a drama called YOUTH! https://mydramalist.com/62573-blue-sky

Jai Smiles

Also, familia, if you want good camera work when it comes to live performances, I suggest either Music Bank or MCountdown..the other music shows like to go all over the place....I also suggest their concert clips since those usually are filmed by BigHit :D

Hobae

Cheoreom(처럼) means “the same as / just like”. Butterfly in korean is “nabi(나비)” ……. “nabi cheoreom (나비 처럼)” means “Just like a butterfly” .... in the lyrics you can’t hear the word nabi(나비) because they wrote butterfly in English

Hobae

“Butterfly like a butterfly machi butterfly bu-butterfly cheoreom”… machi(마치) means “as if” & cheoreom(처럼) means “just like/the same as” ... thus that line will be exactly translated as “butterfly like a butterfly, as if a butterfly , just like a butterfly”

Jyoti Prashar

These are my favourite performances for the next half of the album Ma City - https://youtu.be/CVdKuYyLLV8 Silver Spoon (Baepsae) - https://youtu.be/2PKLsshsuZo Autumn leaves - https://youtu.be/t2yL_C-T5YE House of cards - https://youtu.be/oDLXVbP3CQc Uthman should watch the house of cards performance jungkook focus video. He may pass out like Every army who has watched it previously has but you will know what we mean when say that jungkook in that performance became a whole ass man !!! This is the link - https://youtu.be/LKLOODIigmU

alessia

Yesss finally my favorite album!! Can’t wait to watch this when I finish my classes today 🥳 my favorite song is probably butterfly or autumn leaves but also my city is great and nevermind... I can’t choose familia! ahahha thank you for the reaction! As always love you 💜

Iyana Taylor

You need to watch the end of the prolouge the picture comes back up

Dottie

hahahah i laughed so hard when you said "we're kinda dumb compare to them" & "you speak for yourself" XDDDD and "in my head i killed it" XDDDDD how many times i think the same when listening to their songs I love how you doing the track in such a full content with lyrics, MV, behind the scene, lives etc. such a great way to revisit the songs & it's storyline

134340 borahae

I got a little emotional during Whalien 52 live, Jimin's eyes is almost teary, and the lyrics just. haaaay I love you two so much. Just thank you for being a positive influence and I really enjoy going through BTS discography again with you guys. Borahae 💜

ApricotFlower

Fun fact: Jin performed 'Nevermind' during the BTS Home Party 2017😂 I hope you'll watch the full home party one day - it's on Vlive.

Tushti Kapoor

whalien 52 and butterfly are two of my favourite songs from bts of all time <3

damla

familia there are subtitles for the prologue videos as well! i would recommend u to watch those next time so u can understand what they're saying💜

damla

QOTD: My favorite song is Whalien52!! i often feel lonely and just relate to this song a lot that's why it hits me different

Hannah

Guys please wait until there are subs for the entire You quiz on the block episode😫 The YT clips are just highlights and they’re not in the right order. It doesn’t make sense to watch the clips and then again watch the full episode.

Ophelia
>>56574377

I honestly do not think that is what the song is about. I think it can be interpreted as that, but I think it's just talking about a precious relationship in general. Like a 'I'm so careful around you because I just want you next to me rather than to leave me". I think it could mean a romantic relationship, a friendship, even family. So it could be interpreted as that, but I think it's more of a general feeling. Also, looking at the fact that it's a part of the Youth series, it could also just be talking about youth. How even though that time is so precious, it's so fragile.

PIDDI

Suga: Nevermind ungrave it under your chest! Jimin has a nevermind tattoo under his chest!

J.N

Can y’all please stop sending them performances with lyrics it ruins the vibes with them reading instead of enjoying the performance honestly

L

hyyh pt2 my absolute favorite era and with love yourself tear probably my favorite album. im so excited that u guys finally get into it:)

Arzuhii

The realization of the run mv is that even tho they were together in the shots they actually were alone- now watch it wit this in the back of your mind

Arzuhii

Oh lol you missed the end scene with Jin and the photo of the gas station 😅

nikki
>>56579621

OMG! Not the iconic House of Cards JK Focus Cam!!!!! Uthman, I pray for soul if you do watch it!! You as well, Marisol! I'm a Jimin bias but that JK Focus Cam is a killer!!! Hahahahahh. It's an iconic one among the fandom. Same as his Pied Piper during 5th Muster!!

lucy
>>56578662

yes mcountdown is always the best, and secondly music back

Amal

ok I think you need an update about the BU universe. So apparently jin is able to finally escape the time loop he was trapped in, he found a solution. However it seems now that jungkook started a new time loop and now he is trapped. I'm telling you this because of the Film Out teaser. Armys are seeing a lot of similarities between the Film Out teaser and the fake love mv and they think maybe the mv would be a continuation of the BU so prepare yourselves

bembolbee
>>56565596

I think the only adjustment they did here was in the ending of the choreo. Instead of forming the big butterfly they just made individual ones with their hands

bembolbee
>>56566110

I think the only adjustment they did in the butterfly performance was in the ending of the choreo. Instead of forming the big butterfly they just made individual ones with their hands. In really find butterfly too haunting to be romantic. But it is very beautiful though, just tonged with that sad vibe

bembolbee

For your questions In the prologue: - tae called namjoon saying “hyung, i wanna see my friends” -namjoom writes on the mirror “we must survive” - while around the camp fire jin showed them a photo of the beach and asked them if they should go there again, thus the very fun road trip in the following scenes - you missed the post credits scene (that was later removed by bighit in the official vid) where jin looks at the polariod photo they took at the gas station... he was missingon it

Maylo

About Whalien - It's an absolutely beautiful song and metaphor. Even the name Whalien is a mash of the words Whale and Alien. It's a song that discusses not only loneliness but isolation; the act of being able to call out but no one listens. I think BTS really still identifies with this sentiment because it's something they must still struggle with today - just look at Shadow. They are so successful, but their success has lead to them becoming even more scared and lonely ("I'm afraid; flying high is terrifying / no one told me how lonely it is up here" - yoongi, Shadow).

Amal

that picture taehyung holding turns out it's not his mother, it's his father. you need to watch xceleste's summary of the BU, she put a new recent one on yt, you are confused about the storyline

Ophelia
>>56657940

Yeah it’s definitely important to mention that this is a tiny theory. Nothing has actually indicated that Jin got out of the time loop or that Jungkook is in one. Also the fact that Jin has probably inherited these “time traveling” abilities from his father makes me think that they won’t go with JK time traveling too. That wouldn’t make much sense.

Michelle Chong

familia, do you know Outro Tear is a song about BTS Disbandment? I hope you could react to it

YUN

Hi! I love your video so much. Thank you for your reaction video. When you watch "HYYH prolouge", I remember there is making film video. It's from "2015 HYYH On Stage DVD Prologue& VCR Making"(2015 11. 27~29 HYYH Concert On Stage). I think you can watch video this time or later when you reacting to this DVD. Always take care! https://youtu.be/iASv5i8eRYc

Apple Bee

In Butterfly live perf. no one was singing Jungkook parts. It was recording. Also V started the song from his part. They omitted Jungkook at the begining. He had a flu.

Chrissy

For the animation of Yoongi running in Nevermind I always thought it would be funny if they made him running the same way he did that time... down the stage runway with his head flopping from side to side.🤣

romina

Love it. Never Mind is one of my favourite songs in this album.

mia

QOTD: Butterfly and Ma City are mu ultimate favorite songs on pt.2
