It's really a bummer personally that they dont have a more accessible way of viewing for international armys when the subbed version got released. I also had a hard time finding subbed videos so thank you as always to our kind and hardworking armys who shared it and other armys who worked to put their own translations. Gotta grab some snacks and will enjoy a full 2hrs with you guys.. :)

It’s very important to remember that this story has been changed over time to look worse than it was. The whole show was about being voted to take “the good road” or “the bad road”. JK got on the good road which fed them great food, like the burgers. He, and another person on the good road, brought all the bad road people food when they showed up later to the ending, which the bad road people rejected because they were annoyed (having to sleep outside in the rain or walk long distances when they got nice rooms and vehicles) This idea that Jungkook bought the food himself and was late to filming because of it is a lie. Also another people besides JK offered food too, but was also rejected. The story has spun out of control and made out to be much worse than it was. It’s kinda like when people exaggerate American Hustle Life. Most people who complain about both of these things have never even watched it themselves. So comparing this to something like the situation with B-Free is so wrong. This happened just because the bad road team was in a bad mood, it was nothing personal. While with B-Free, Suga and RM were openly mocked and make fun of just because they were themselves. These situations are no comparable. It’s similar situations with the other people. We should not be making fun of, sending threats to, or talking badly about anyone, even if we think they “offended” the boys in anyway. It’s extremely immature and wrong, and goes against everything BTS preaches.

I really don't think it was that bad at all. JK also seemed completely fine and actually likes the guy, so I don't think we should worry about it.

Yeah I get this completely but I also feel like BTS are adults and they seem like forgiving people. I don't think they harbor as many resentments as ARMYs do towards people. I get that's the nature of fandom but I kinda hate when ARMYs take BTS issues and make it seem like they're petty and vengeful people. Not saying you're doing that but I'm speaking on people bringing up the JK situation and being like "I hope he goes on there and treats that guy this sort of way". They are of a different culture and the entertainment industry is a very harsh place. People get treated weirdly and then those same people end up at the very top. I just feel like the guys aren't dumb and it's been years. Jungkook was young and the humor of the show just seemed like something a lot of people wouldn't get and they edit things a certain way to add drama. I feel bad for young JK but I love moments like this because everybody knows JK doesn't care and he is in a much better position in life. As they said, they message these guys and talk from time to time. Supreme Boi still works with them. B-Free is whatever and I agree about Melanie. As I said I understand where you're coming from though, I just wanted to add my take lmao

I agree with Ophelia. I think a lot of pre-2018 fandom stuff is so out of date and misinformation at this point. I doubt the boys care about past offenses. Now racism in the west is a big deal but it's a bit disheartening seeing Armys bring up old stuff to newer fans. It's almost like people doing 2016 era jokes. We gotta move on lmao. From what I've seen from a lot of Korean reality/variety shows in general is that the humor just isn't my taste and from a western perspective it comes off problematic. I don't like how the older people speak to the younger people at times. I guess it's like "paying your dues." People also need to remember the sunbae/hoobae culture and seniority in Asia is just completely different.

This is definitely my all time favorite interview. Every word out of their mouth made me tear up and feel inspired. They also made me realize for the 100th time that being their fan is worth it no matter what. I swear NAMJOON be fooling us and not letting us hear his beautiful singing voice hahhaa, but in a song with him and JK (I'm not sure if it's a cover or not, and not sure if it was before their debut that released it), called FOOLS, he sang BEAUTIFULLY!!

Lo estaba esperando ya que no pude verlo con sub en ningún lado gracias familia. Army compro todos los anuncios para que el programa se transmitiera sin cortes. El programa estuvo bien planificado la producción realmente se esforzó porque quedara bien y estudiaron mucho. Leí que la producción desde que se conformo a los chicos no se tomaron ningún día libre para poder planificar todo, vieron todos los conciertos, todos los videos sobre sus actividades en usa y escucharon toda la discografía. También pensaron todo el tema de la edición por eso esta todo con color violeta y los nombres en pantalla de los chicos coincidían con el color de sus micrófonos.

There's an Army acount on twitter called @ARMYUNNIESUBS and shes been slowly subbing the whole ep. Shes now got 7/10 parts done. And she aslo explains stuff thats not in the subs its really good. I really loved how they all answered the memoir question. They all had such great answers and I would read all of them over and over. And Seokjin was like a piece of art the whole interview. Total heartthrob material.

I just wanna say the reason Jin didn’t talk that much was because he part was cut. Seokjin actually asked for this because he didn’t want the fans to feel sad cause of what he said. Yknow jin constantly tries to uplift army and the members its very touching of him to be considerate like this

Just to let you know, Yoongi has mentioned before that he cried after the AMMs. For instance in festa 2018. Also, you probably know this, but to remind you Jungkook was 13 when he became a trainee and 15 was his Korean age. :)

PS- not sure if you know Jin's interview was cut short but he explained it later not because the producer did that but himself asked for that as he didn't want ARMY to hear some of the negative thoughts he shared & didn't want to worry us. I mean which artist would do that? everyone wanna have more air-time of their own but Jin did it because of his kind heart- spirit of BTS. must say this is one of the best TV show BTS's on. they have been to so many US/foreign shows but because of the language barrier not all of them could speak freely of what's in the mind & the hosts were great but it's different when you have hosts from the same country knowing how tough K-enterainment industry is for these boys. Glad to see the members opened up, had fun in this show (Yoo Jae-suk being my favourite Korean host, surely BTS loves him so much & hence wanted to go on his show)

towards the end i literally started sobbing.. actually i became an army in 2018 so that year is very special to me and everytime i see that clip of bts crying at the award show it hurts so much. that year they were mentally so exhausted and they were thinking about breaking up and just the thought of that breaks my heart.. we could´ve rly lost them and i just ugh :( im so so proud of them for staying strong and overcoming their hardships. they could´ve easily quit but they sincerely love us and what they do and i believe that´s why they agreed to continue. they resigned their contract back then and that was such a huge decision to make but i´m so happy they chose to continue 🙏

Ohh I literally just went to a website called ilkpop.com and downloaded all BTS songs I could find there, which included their solo projects and pre-debut releases, hahha. I'm so glad I did that cause I've heard so many of their pre-debut songs which are absolutely breathtaking!!

- the place the interview took place is a hanok (Korean traditional style house), and "dong" means neighborhood/village - my great aunt used to live in a hanok (nothing like this one - they are clearly in a very expensive hanok) - there's something about being in one that is very relaxing and calming - the "Seoul guy" image - it's the kdrama male lead type - well-dressed, well-spoken, impeccable manners, suave no hint of satoori - the areas outside of Seoul are considered more "rural" with rougher images, but the Seoul type is a very refined image - that s what Tae meant when he thought Namjoon was a Seoul guy - 17 pyeong apartment - pyeong is the unit of measurement for the size of a house - pyeong is around 36 square feet, so a 17 pyeong apartment is around 604 square feet - "it's no big deal" - this is also the poem Tae wrote for the guys in RunBTS when they all wrote poems for each other and recited them, while cringing, by the fire outside, at night, after their first MT - jjajangmyeon - black bean noodles - jokbal - pig's foot - it's a very popular dish, slow roasted pig's foot - also comes in an extremely spicy variety - it's the meat around the pig's leg, not the actual hoof, so there is a lot of meat

I loved this whole show too. As I have said before it was the perfect mix of funny and emotional. It really made ARMY happy that they invited Junghyun over. As Tae said it has been more than a year since they last saw ARMYs and she is the first one that they have seen in ages and her energy and confidence is just so amazing. She made the boys so so happy. A tweet even said that it looks like BTS were her fans because they were cheesing so much at her hahaha. And every stories that they have shared is also very special. The jajangmyeon and ice cream story though that Joon was saying was not really a first time. He shared the jajangmyeon story during their Jimmy Fallon interview on the subway special and the ice cream story during burn the stage hahaha. An ofcourse the infamous banana fight of JK and Hobi. Hahhaha. I really loved every moment of it and like Marisol said, it was very motivational to know their thoughts and struggles during that time as such a young age and what they decided to do to overcome all those struggles. Such an inspiration! I enjoyed the past 2hrs with you familia. Always loved rewatching everything with you. Hope to see you next for Let's BTS?? :)

Since you mentioned in part 2 around 8:45 about armys not hearing these stories before, thats actually not true. Some of the stories they mentioned in this, they have mentioned previously, you probably just forgot since it was so long ago. Like the stories about food with RM & Tae, RM has mentioned those stories before. I believe they were mentioned on Burn the Stage. Its hard to remember if you only heard it once, but since I have seen alot of videos more than once, its easier to remember small details they mention.

Just fyi, I think we have heard the stories involving food in one of the docuseries episodes. It's the same episode where Suga talks about dreaming of a talking pig showing him the winning lotto numbers. I could be wrong though . . .

Yup correct. The ice cream story is from that scene and the jajangmyeon one was first mentioned on mini moni's vlive in which they never really elaborated the story and later on during their subway special on jimmy fallon, jimmy got to relay that jajangmyeon question from armys and joon got to finally tell the story hahaha.
