Mary

guys i hate to complain about stuff, but i rly recommend you maybe find a new screen recording software? the video is really choppy and it's really annoying to watch, especially performances since their dancing. i can tell it's the screen recorder because the audio sounds fine, it's just the video that looks like it's lagging/choppy. thanks for the reaction tho <3

Carol 💜

Thank you so much for reacting to show champion performance and behind the scenes!! My cheeks are hurting now 😂😂 Also, Happy birthday, Uthman!! Idk if it's really today or tomorrow but I'm congratulating anyway haha 💜

Fernanda

It's my birthday today and the day is almost over so to answer QOTD I just had a great day with my family :) And happy birthday in advance Uthman! <3

Harmony

I personally love Not Today as it was one of the first songs I heard from BTS back in 2017 when I became ARMY. I always remember singing it w/ my friend on the way to school.

bembolbee

That stage they were dancing on are covered with sheets that looks like mirror finish stainless steel. In architecture we also use the thicker variety in lieu of glass mirrors for areas like ceilings or very tall full length walls for safety reasons.

laura

Familia you should really consider reacting to Hwarang! It was the first ever kdrama i watched but i really liked it. The behind the scene moments are gold you can see how much of a bond Tae has with the actors (who are now his bestfriends, after bts ofc lol) In fact some of them were brought up in the Run episodes for 141-142, Where they guess who the celebrity is. Tae is the maknae in Hwarang so its adorable watching how different they treat him since he's the baby 💜

Carol 💜

I love Not Today so much!!! Really, i get goosebumps everytime i hear it, especially in live performances because idk it's just so grr you know? Don't know how to explain but makes me go out and protest about something lol but also, makes me really emotional because the lyrics really hit me hard!! But really, this song is absolutely amazing!!! I was expecting you to see the behind the scene of the MV of memories but it's ok, i can't wait till you get there haha I don't like the BTS episodes of behind the MV because back then was so choppy that is kinda chaotic i think, makes me kinda dizzy 😂

bembolbee

I so agree because this kdrama has a special place in my heart because looking for behind the scenes clips in yt was how i accidentally discovered our boys 💜

Elizabeth

now that I've caught up on your Patreon content, I anticipate your new content SO much over the week, it seriously makes my day and I check my inbox all day on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays although I KNOW it won't be there til around 8:00 in the evening 🙃🤣 Anyways, keep it up Familia!!! Your content always makes my day! 💜

Carol 💜

Also, kaepjjang is a Korean slang for "dope", "very cool" or "awesome" and it was yoongi's catchphrase back in 2017, i don't really remember how it started but he said it a lot during this era haha There's even a mini compilation of it: https://youtu.be/DWETpXdn_VI 😂

jergens lotion

are you guys ever going to react to bts gayo

Liluryn

Happy Birthdayyy Uthman!!! I hope you have a great day today, and the year ahead is full of many blessings

CJ

As a Sri Lankan this bring me so much joy haha

damla

qotd: all i did was stay home and rest bc I’ve been sick since Thursday😔 i tried to workout a bit but felt so exhausted.. oh and in the mv the dancers threw their jackets in the air!! also i love how uthman talks about cameras, editing etc. its just so cool to see how passionate he is (and also rly talented) it reminds me of jungkook cuz he also loves those things🥺 and he’s ur bias hehe

Katrina Walton

I wish you too would also react to bts reacting to their mv also

damla

so kkaepjjang is a slang that comes from 캡=kkaep (captain) and 장=jang (head) and it means "a boss who is the best fighter among the group" so its a very old slang word, it can mean things like awesome/best of best/superb/dope/great for example when yoongi says army is kkaepjjang = army is the best

damla

there is a video of bts reacting to their live performance of not today and spring day! u can watch it on ur own or reaction, just wanted u to see it bc its just legendary😂https://youtu.be/g12dA1S0fQs

damla

not today means so much to me, even tho it’s such a powerful song with a hardcore beat, i always tear up and get goosebumps listening to it, knowing the meaning. there’s a quote i really like: „it’s okay if all u did today was survive“ which was smith i wrote on my desk so i can see it everyday and remind myself. i used to think i was lazy when i didn’t have a productive day, or that i was wasting time in life by not doing anything, i was so focused on doing things but not realizing how that drained my energy and mental health bc i was pressuring myself.. so i connect not today with that quote, just like the lyrics say „we won’t die today, we will survive“ and now whether i was productive or not, I’m proud of myself regardless, bc surviving a day is an achievement on its own, it means u stayed strong another day. there’s moments where i wanna give up but this song tells me otherwise.. „if u can’t fly then run, if u can’t run then crawl but just don’t kneel down“ and god i cant explain how much strength these lyrics give me. they’re literally saying no matter how strong or weak u are, just keep going.

Aparna

I love their reactions to their own music videos, I hope you guys include reacting to 'BTS reacting to their MVs' in your discography journey. 💜

Lisha Makwana

Hey familia, the screen recording for the videos are somewhat choppy and lagging, idk if it’s just me or everyone, just wanted to let you know but overall enjoyed the reaction! 💜

mia

my niece came over so i spent the day with her, i really missed her so it was really heartwarming. i always listen to not today when im angry or upset. i start school again tomorrow definitely not excited. happy birthday uthman! also i actually learn a lot about film and stuff whenever you talk about it, it’s really cool! 💜

Carol 💜

They did it to BST but the boys didn't react to neither spring day or not today mv this time so... But they'll probably react to their reaction to DNA and others after it, don't worry 😊

Leyla Matus

Today was my birthday! 😊 I had a great time with my family and I am ready to watch your reaction before going to sleep! I hope you have a great Monday familia!! 💜💜💜

Mikrocosmoni

Happiest birthday Uthman!🥰 Thankful for you guys's endeavers always💜 Not Today dance practice is insane and I also love the message, which is so btslike

Emmy

i keep discovering new videos and performances thanks to you and the familia 💜💜💜 and wow, bts really embody any music they release. their message is so convincing and moving because you know (and it shows) that they believe it too

eynz

Rewatching everything with y'all familia NOT TODAY gave a different feels.... it is now seems like a superhero theme song to me! The energy & power behind it (music & lyricism wise) makes me feel that way! I'm in full charge today! 💜🤗

Bri⁷

Spring Day will always have a special place in my heart. Just something about Spring Day✨💜 Also love Not Today and it’s message. Jimin really amazes me with his humbleness. He almost never talks about his achievements. Like he’s too humble. Jimin was an exceptional student, amazing athlete and all round highly intelligent person. He was part of the student council from elementary to high school. He became famous as he got admitted into Busan Arts School as a valedictorian. He received scholarship to study in China for his amazing dancing skills. He was one of the top students in junior high and was the top student in Busan arts high school from all the departments. He was class president for 9 consecutive years, top of his class. His teachers from old schools didn't want him to move to another school because of how good he was. He was the number one student in maths & chemistry. He was the only student among Art/Music/Dance majors to get 100 in his math exam. Also the only 1st-year student that got a scholarship for a martial arts. Was the only freshman from his fine arts school to be chosen to study abroad for Chinese martial arts. Also was given offers to study abroad for both his martial arts AND his dance. He has a black belt in taekwondo, learn kendo(modern Japanese martial arts) for 8 years, and Hapkido. He was a member in billiards, robotics, and football club. He has mastered poppin, hip hop, break dance, street dance, and is known he had worked hard on every subject such as ballet, korean dance, etc, besides his major of contemporary dance, based on his teacher's past interview.

ApricotFlower

The Show Champion Behind was hilarious😂 It always amazes me how they can be so goofy off-stage, and then instantly switches into a serious mode when they start performing. They're so professional. And wow, the lyric video for Not Today just made me realize how short Jin's part is... he literally only got 3-4 seconds out of the whole song👀

Mikrocosmoni

Oh and yoongi didn't mean "There is no spring in Korea." The sub was off. What he actually said was "Unfortunately we are not in Korea this spring. / 봄에는 우리가 한국에 없어요." Korea has beautiful spring season with cherry blossoms :) 🌸

Jungkookie

Huhuhuh, seeing them so playful is making me miss them. You saying memories 2017 is making me excitedd in the future. Memories 2014 - 2017 is cute as hell I promise! You'll see bit by bit how they upgraded. BigHit did not have enough money to provide a car for BTS, so they had to use their manager's car in RUN MV. Now they be so successful 🌸

Jungkookie

The behind the scenes is making me laugh at JinKook keke. Jimin being jealous was adorable too! And Suga was the instigator, lol.

Alexa

It still remains to be my favorite era of BTS musically speaking)) Spring Day is one of my fave live performances (together with Mic Drop) and Not Today is one of my fave MVs ! When ppl say that BTS grew a lot it makes me wonder sometimes. These guys were such cool and strong performers from their debut days! Yes, they grew vocally and musically but as performers they were on the top from the day one! THe production though grew incredibly! THanks fro a great reaction)

nikki

If im not mistaken, the pre-chorus lyrics here was from a Martin Luther King Jr. quote that says: " If you cant fly, then run. If you cant run, then walk. If you cant walk, then crawl. But by all means, keep moving." Spring Day was my very first BTS MV but Not Today was what closed the deal for me and made me an army. Like you guys, i was completely mesmerized and speechless seeing the MV and reading the lyrics. After that i watched the live versions and ended up on a pile of BTS funny compilations on my recommendations and the rest is history. Completely fell into the rabbit hole since then. Hahahaha. Cant wait for you to read the lyrics for You Never Walk Alone too.. One of my top comfort songs ever! Wings x YNWA era is such a beautiful era really. These albums are just timeless! PS: I'm sure you would also love the Show Champion Behind during RUN era. They're extremely chaotic here as well hahaha. Just watch it on your own spare time.. :) Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suY57tk2Ykg The link is from youtube, not sure if Bangtan Subs have one on their website though. :) PPS: Happiest Birthday to the biggest JK shooter / fanboy i know! :D We love you, Uthman! You deserve all the great things this life has to offer. Cheers to more happy days ahead and growing up together along with BTS and the familia! :)

Erin

Off topic lol, but are you guys going to react to Hope World album?

laura

not sure if this has been asked and/or answered before, but do you guys plan to go through their japanese discography as well? they really have many underrated masterpieces on those albums !!!

Sim

Actually Korea has spring(march to may), but as you know, because of global warming, it's got shorter than past. The view of spring day in Korea is beautiful. And!! the location where they took a 'Not today" MV is in Korea!!!!

we don't take it as a complaint familia so don't worry, we're actually glad you brought this to our attention because we don't want you having a hard time watching BTS with us, and it seems that many other familia's are also having the same issue so thank you! 😊 also has it been occurring in other reactions as well or just this one?

mia

Not Today!! This song is literally so empowering and I love it so much! Thank you for reacting to it!! Keep up the amazing work!
