Hello familia happy Sunday!! Hope you are all having a great day/night so far. 💜

In today's reaction, we will be continuing LY:HER with the tracks Best Of Me, Dimple, Pied Piper, and the Skit: Billboard Music Awards Speech!!

We love all three of these songs. These were actually some of the first BTS songs we fell in love with when we first started listening to their music. So watching some of these live performances brought us some nostalgic feels. 🥰

QOTD: Well, Dope was my first song and then I was casually listening, started to become an ARMY and then BOY with Luv came out and I was hooked from there. Also, yes you are correct Uthy, try to avoid romanisation as much as possible, you won't learn Korean effectively that way. You're learning Korean, not romanisation, BTS doesn't read in romanisation, they don't write in romanisation. The more you read romanisation, the more you won't be learning Korean, and so you won't understand when you get more deeply into learning it. Romanisation isn't very accurate as well, don't rely on it. I know it's hard at first (reading) but it will get easier, I promise you. I shall now get back to watching this lit reaction. LOVE YOU GUYSSSSS!!!!💜💜

100% agree. the first thing in my korean text book says learn to read hangul and then do not use romanisation at all after that. it makes learning so much harder if you use romanisation.

pied piper really is a spicy song hahahah especially the first rap verse from namjoon where he basically exposed all armys😂 btw that verse became an insider among armys, like once this song comes on we all know that namjoon is calling us out LOL. but this song is truly legendary and the vocals are ✨chefs kiss✨

qotd: for me it was fake love, the first ever song and mv that i saw of bts and i IMMEDIATELY fell in love with them😩 i didn't even hesitate or double think, it was just clear that i'm whipped for them lol

Has anyone mentioned already that when Namjoon said Love yourself on that speech, it was a teaser to the Love Yourself album. That's why we always watch out to everything they say during awards because they always tease us for the next album.

Part distribution of the 'Best of Me' lyrics video is wrong. SUGA's part was expressed as j-hope's part. In 'Pied piper' lyric video, most of the lyrics mistranslated "you" and "me" in the opposite direction.. "You're my paradise"! --> "I'M your paradise". "I can't live without you" --> "YOU can't live without ME" It makes the song more spicier lol There are a few mistranslated lyrics in that lyric video

Honestly, probably War of Hormone. That sound was so different to me, and the mv was so cool when i first saw it lol. I remember that was the moment WAH Tae stood out for me and his facial expressions were the icing on the cake

The best of me choreography is soo good!! I was going to recommend you to watch their performance at the 4th muster because it's so good and iconic (it was the first time we saw the choreography), but it's very hard to find because it's not on YouTube anymore and i couldn't find it on Dailymotion :(( but maybe you'll watch the 4th muster in the future so you'll see it!! I love Dimple and I'm really excited for when you get to Namjoon's Vlive because him explaining how he wrote it's really funny 😂😂 also, the lyrics were slightly incorrect in the color coded video but I'm sure you read the doolset lyrics after so it's ok!! 💜

I love every performance of Dimple and Pied Piper, you can watch all of them I'm not gonna complain 😂 btw, i love how you reacted to Pied Piper, i can't believe you never read the lyrics to it haha I love how they say to us to stop "obsessing" over them on Pied Piper but then they give us this performance???? Like, sir?? How?? And i am obsessed with the clip of Jin and Tae's moment at the end of Pied Piper, i can watch this clip forever!!! And about the Romanization, i think if you're trying to learn Korean if you try to stick to the Romanization it'll just confuse your pronunciation!! So you're doing good, I'm proud of you!! 💜💜

Haha i noticed the same, of course it is totally ok she doesn't💜 among army reactors i know she is the only female army reactor who doesn't fangirl about their looks or extra adorable moments (again which is cool and fine don't get me wrong💜), which made me curious also. i have a chin dimple (is that what it's called in english?) i used to hate it and wonder why i have it and none of my friends did but bts made me realize it's not ugly but makes me more unique and now it's one of my favorite features. it sounds silly i know but that's why the song dimple is so important to me

- that wawoowawoo sound effect in Pied Piper (sorry, that's just my best attempt at spelling out that sound xD) - is a didgeridoo, which is an Australian aboriginal instrument - it makes those kinds of elongated wailing noises - I'm not sure if they were actually using a real one, or just a computerized sound byte, but yeah, that's the instrument that sound comes from originally ^^

muster 2019 jk is something else, it's known as one of the most iconic looks of his, the whole timeline went crazy then (i'm one of them) . the moment he appeared with that wet hair, the black piercing dangling and then he was singing like he was having an intimate moment with the mic and also the seductive nature of the song all combined created this iconic look. you were army then, I'm sure you remember how it was

QOTD: I feel like it was Save Me but my Spotify wrapped for that year says BS&T which was my most played song in 2016 (which came out in October!). Pied Piper was actually the song that cemented the Ultimate Bias position of Jungkook in my heart lol, and it is also the song that made me really get into BTS regardless of the meaning of the lyrics because it was the 1st song that sounded different to me compared to the other songs that I heard (at that time). It sounded funky, sexy and unique...it is still by far one of my favorite songs of theirs.

Just to let you know, that one line of Pied Piper (where JK is having an intimate moment with his mic😂) is translated there very plainly as "I'm very sweet", but in Korean it's more teasing like "See ain't I sweet?" or "Look, didn't I say I'm so sweet?"

As someone mentioned, Best of me have credits by one of the members of the Chainsmokers. The Chainsmokers were actually in South Korea around that time and BTS joined them at one of their concerts where they preformed Closer. There's some videos of it.
