Question of the day: Who's your favorite superhero?

We are finalizing Love Yourself ‘Tear’ with Anpanman, So What, and Outro: Tear! 🙌🙌

These 3 songs alone are a roller coaster of emotions. We’re going from inspirational lyrics about the weakest hero without supernatural powers, being a hero because he tears off pieces of himself to feed the hungry🥺 to Outro Tear lyrics talking about the members contemplating their split.  💔

We loved the stories behind all three tracks. We love that not only are they great-sounding tracks, but also come with meaningful messages. Along with every single track on this album. 😊

It was so much fun and just so beautiful to learn more about each track, we’ve come to love this album even more than before. 💖

Thank you for coming along on this journey with us familia. 💜

We still have more content to come with this album, starting with Namjoon’s Album review via Vlive.💜

There's laughter in the back of the video where they forgot about the camera because they didn't actually forget they had mic on, it was before starting the performance so they were testing, rehearsing and stuff but they didn't know it was recording lol there's more to this clip i think, but i couldn't find it, only this video and i thought all of it were that clip but it's ok!!

OMG I'm so excited to continue this journey with you familia

Anpanman is lit and kinda cute, but there's a sad part to it too!! He's made of Anpan (which is bread with red bean paste if I'm not mistaken) and he gives it to others, and gives and gives without getting anything in return, so it's kinda sad and well it really fits the whole concept of LY: Tear!! They always went crazy at the end of it in the concerts, i remember here in Brazil it was one of my favorite times, Yoongi twerking, Taehyung piggybacking Hobi, all of them jumping they were so chaotic!!! And the times they got stuck in the inflatable thing 😂😂 (forgot the name of it, sorry) P.S.: the performance you watched was one from the Speak yourself tour, but when they performed it in the Love Yourself tour they would do the choreography, and there was a time when Joon were going to give Jimin "a piece of himself" and Jimin ran to the other side of the stage and Namjoon was like ??? And Jimin's smirk was so funny!!! I love this part too P.S.2: they also performed it in the Day 2 of PTD in Seoul after such a long time, together with Go Go!!

So what is so good, i love the message of the song i get so hyped when I listen to it!!! And it's the perfect showcase for their amazing vocal stability because they keep jumping around and running and they still hit all the notes!!! Jin literally was killing it while jumping!!! Wish you had reacted to the mini compilation of Taejin moments in So what, especially because in this performance they didn't do it, but they would always do something funny and crazy it was so good!! I miss it, btw you did see a little bit of it in the Day1 of PTD in Seoul!!

I'm soo excited for you to watch Namjoon's Behind, it's one of my favorites!! (All of the Love yourself era are together with the Mots:7 one) Also, don't forget to react to the comeback show and the BBMAs 2018 episode as you saw they performed Fake love for the first time there and i think it's important to watch!! And idk if you'll react to the Press conference but if you do, i think you should watch it after Namjoon's Behind!!

Tear was definitely inspired by the members and thinking about disbanding, but I'm confident they would have added in other personal experiences to it as well

deejebekosmos⁷

Ahhhh yess!!!. QOTD: Spiderman!!! well because of Tom Holland lol, Iron Man/Tony Stark is a close second!

essi

Do you remember in the choreo that namjoon gives bread to jimin? He was jumping around in front of Joon and then ran away up the slide because during these live stages he would hide from joon during this part. So in this one Joon just did it with jk instead haha I should have given you guys a link to a compilation of jimin hiding from namjoon during anpanman

Família, when Outro:Tear came out we didn't know yet about the story behind it, so we only vibed with it really, and then when we knew about it in Bring The soul a few years later we were so shook and all make sense about how they were so intense in the performances and stuff!!! Btw, in my opinion, i think the lyrics now are not entirely the same lyrics of when Yoongi showed the music to them, i think they changed some stuff since it was only the demo and i keep thinking if i get so emotional with this lyrics imagine with the original ones??? It's inspired/about the members but i feel there's more about the whole album concept now too!!! And all of them kills it but Hobi's part is my favorite, he puts all his emotions into it and i can really really feel it, i feel breathless just from listening to him!!!!

essi

it wasnt until i knew this song that i learned people in other countries pronounce tear (crying) and tear (rip apart) differently 😅

Muna

just wanted to point out as others have that though Outro:Tear was inspired by them considering disbandment due to the pressure they had from suddenly becoming superstars and representing their country on the global stage, the final version of the lyrics is much more reflective of the theme of the album itself in relation to the series: LY Her being about fated love, LY Tear being about realizing everything is fake love and the internal struggle behind it all and LY Answer being about finally realizing that love starts with yourself. So basically dont take the lyrics as to how they literally feel about each other because the reasoning behind their disbandment considerations were not due to each other but the outside pressures that was suffocating them.

Familia, I can't access this and your PTD Seoul reaction. Dropbox ain't letting me download it. Says network error. Help please! 😭😭😭

It's both. Really the only time they have spoken about it is about disbandment, so I think it's far to take the lyrics that way. But, of course, it fits with the theme as well.

When BTS performed Anpanman at London's Wembley Stadium, Namjoon purposely wore a "Son" hat, giving a shout-out to Son Heung Min who also played at the UEFA Champions League Final that same day. That night was legendary for both BTS and Sonny - BTS being the first Korean group to perform at Wembley and Sonny being only the second Korean to play in the UEFA CL finals. When the lyrics "new superhero Anpanman" came out, Namjoon would point to his hat and show his support for Son :) (esp at the beginning & end) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCNkoFWy-mU

the members knew their mics were on!!! people need to stop sharing that clip as facts because it's not true. i'm not blaming you if you believe it cause how would you know but that's the problem. no one cares to correct it when they see people watching that clip. sorry it just really annoys me because i wish that clip was deleted or edited so people aren't misinformed. loved the video tho familia!! <3

no one knew the real meaning behind tear until yoongi said it 2 years later. no wonder hobi always put his heart on stage at the end of the song.. he was singing to the members

Currently crying after rewatching anpanman and so what live performances!! Those performances were at rosebowl and I was actually there 😭 makes me miss them so much. I’m actually currently in South Korea and I didn’t go to the concert cause I couldn’t get tickets. Haven’t seen them in 2.5 years. Waiting for my time to come to reunite with them

Nis98

QOTD: Batman then Ironman( I have a type 🤷🏾‍♀️)

Hi Familia, thank you for the video💜 1) In anpanman actually when Tae is standing in the beginning, there is JK behind his back, and he wave his shirt every performance, remember in some other reaction Uthman saw it and thought it was wind, there is even a whole compilation of their beginning together during tour concerts, recommend you to watch, it’s pretty fun course they often started differently Here Is a link to it https://youtu.be/L-7vcxo6X_g 2. And in so what, again during the tour, Jungkook was known for doing “shoot dance” when RM’s part started, its also super fun and there is compilation of him doing it and him making other members do it with him https://youtu.be/SZ-Q7CzIN6w It would be cool if you react, but also really fine if you just watch on your one Love you Familia💜💜💜
