Question of the day: Which member (other than V) are you most familiar with?

Dailymotion Dropbox

Password: “squad”

The wait is over Familia!!!😭

In today's VERY EXCITING episode, we meet the Wooga Squad as we continue the ritual of meeting at Hybe to prepare for their In the Soop getaway.

Their itinerary seems to be quite simple, have a good time with good friends, and eat some delicious foods as we all relax together.

We really enjoyed this first episode! Because all five could not join on day one, we got to learn so much more about Taes, Peakboy, and Park Seojoon chemistry.

We’re excited to learn more about them and their friendship this month with you all.

Hope you enjoy today's episode Familia 😊

yassss im so excited to watch this with y’all 💜

JK

the OST btw is sung by Tae, Hyungsik, and Peakboy (will watch this later after work~) QOTD: All except Peakboy. I only knew him because of Tae. Seojoon is really famous in my country. About Wooshik and Hyungsik, I watched few of their drama. Wooshik and Seojoon also had variety? reality? show named Youn's stay (prior pandemic, it was only Seojoon and the show was named Youn's kitchen where they go to different countries and run a restaurant). Hyungsik is an idol too. His group's name is ZE:A.

Xuannn N

Ahhh cant wait to watch it w you guys🥰

deejebekosmos⁷

Ahhh let’s goo!!! I’m so excited! 💜💜 QOTD: Well I’d say Park Seojoon cause I watched him in another kdrama, I did watch Choi Wooshik in another Korean movie but he wasn’t really the main character in there so I wasn’t very familiar with him. Seojoon’s drama that I watched tho I really liked!!

Carol 💜

Aaah, didn't get a notification!!! Let's goo, so excited!!! I waited to watch it with you ☺️ QOTD: i think most all of them because they all are great actors and if you're active on Twitter it's impossible to not see something about them, except Peakboy, i knew about him only through Taehyung!!

Madison

QOTD: Probably Park Seojoon just because of how good of an actor he is & him being everywhere on K-Twitter. Then Wooshik because of Tae originally but then I got more into him as a person.

Carol 💜

Btw, família, the ones singing the intro are Taehyung, Peakboy and Hyungsik!! Hyungsik was an idol too, but i think now he's only focused on acting!! Please, familia who knows more correct me if I'm wrong!!

itsbangtantime

Hey familia ...i love this series...i also want to point out that u might here tae saying "yoongi hyung" while talking to park seojoon that's bcoz his real name is "park Yong kyu" so when an average army hears it from tae's mouth with the Korean slang it sounds as if he's calling yoongi😂💜just wanted to clarify💜💜💜

Marisol Pulido

i’m most familiar with park seojoon, but recently i’ve watched “strong woman do bong soon” that park hyungshik is the lead and i’m almost done with “our beloved summer” which choi wooshik is the lead (and tae’s ost “christmas tree” is for that drama)! i would say i’m least familiar with peakboy as i haven’t really delve into his work!

romina

i’m most familiar with park seojoon

Rocio_ArmyAtinyMoaCarat

FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY *insert JK's voice QOTD: I'm most familiar with Park Seojoon and Park Hyungshik because of Hwarang (which I still hope you'll react to one day)💜💜💜

Dorrie

Hellooo familia 💜 QOTD : I’m a big fan of Park Seojoon, literally watched all his dramas, he’s spectacular 🥰 I loved Park hyungshik since the day I discovered him in one of my favorites drama ‘’strong girl do bo bong soon’’ he’s so good and funny

Laysla Emanuele

QOTD: Park Seojoon my first drama he was the protagonist and I've watched so many with him. he is a great actor 🫶

moniq tesalonika

QOTD : I'm so familiar with Park Seojoon. He's one of the most popular actors in Korea. I watched his dramas and he's so good!! But I also familiar the other members especially Park Hyungsik and Choi Wooshik bcs I watched their dramas :))

SAM

hi Familia thanks for reacting! Agree that it's a more mellow vibe here mainly cos most of the group is older and the smaller groups size does give you time to understand each personality a little more in how they interact. Love all the in the soops though of course! :) I think I'm most familiar with Park Seo Joon cos he's acted in a ton of well known Korean dramas - agree, he's a solid actor Itawon Class is one of my all time favs :) I've also watched Hyungshik in Strong Girl and he's solid as well. I do know about WooShik & Peakboy as well but mainly through Tae.

Shamya Mckoy

Yess CANT WAIT FOR MORE IN THE SOOP!!!💜💜 also QOTD: I’m most familiar with seojoon and wooshik

Carol 💜

This was so much fun!! It's just the first episode and I'm loving to watch their dynamic together, it's such a sweet friendship!!! Taehyung is not only the "baby" but he's the smallest one too 😂 they all have more than 1,80cm i think in feet is 6ft(?) Peakboy is the tallest one!! He's a really big boy, I'm sure he'll eat a lot too lol but it's so cute to see Taehyung in tiptoes to take a picture with them, and still being small!!! Excited to watch more of it, and to see all of them together!!!

Carol 💜

And Uthman, taehyung made melon with jamon on in the soop, but he also did pasta with steak with Namjoon!!!

Carol 💜

And as always In The Soop is so refreshing and comfy, even more refreshing now because i don't know any of them in a deep level (except taehyung of course) so yeah, really really excited for it!! The few we have seen I'm loving it already!! I laughed so much with Taehyung flicking and slapping Peakboy, it was so funny, and their laughs too 😂😂 btw, it's so weird because i think it's Peakboy who has a very deep laugh and I'm not used to it yet, so it really feels different!! But I'm loving to see Taehyung laughing so much, really missed it

Carol 💜

Oh, also, i think they'll talk about this but just for a little context from what I know: Seojoon is basically the pioneer of this squad, he met Taehyung and Hyungsik on Hwarang and became really close with them, and he were friends with Peakboy and Wooshik since a long time, so they all got together and became really close friends!! This is just the little i know, hope they'll talk more about it because I've been wanting to know how exactly they all came together for a long time!!! P.S.: And if you don't know Wooga means Woori-ga Gajok-inga? (Are we Family?) And i think it's really cute

Courtney can do it with a broken heart

QOTD: I know all of them individually but I know Park Seo Joon the most. As you already know he was in Itaewon Class, my fav fav fav fav fav FAVOURITE KDRAMA, definitely recommend it. I listen to the OST soundtrack on a daily basis. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WOOGA SQUAD SO MUCH, so it was so fun seeing them together, I can't wait till Park Hyung Shik and Choi Woo Shik come in the next ep. I see you were trying to pronounce 'fishing' in Korean, it's 낚씨, no 'd' sound, it's a 'n' sound. Also, with Seo Joon's name, Korean is phonetic so you know how you pronounce Kim Seok Jin, it's the same with Seo Joon's just without the 'K' sound. 김석진 - 박서준, you see the 석 & 서 look very similar here, like 'soh'. With Woo Shik, ughhhh I hate romanisation so muchhhhh, but his name has no 'w' sound as it's '우' no woo, so it'll be pronounced more like oo-shik (the oo in boot, tooth etc). The 최 when romanised sounds nothing like it, as it's chweh not Choi, who came up with Choi??. I must say when Marisol says Seo Joon's name it sounds French in my ears. And may I say Seo Joon is oh my lord, ATTRACTIVE, lol. 🥺😂 The vibes of this so far is so cozy, fun and relaxing. I love ITS, it's very me, if that makes sense. hmmmm tranquility.......kinda.❄️ Everything, from the cooking, shopping, eating, playing games, relatable sleeping lol, ahhh, did I say I love the Wooga Squad cause ding 🛎 Wow this is a long comment. LOVE IT LOVE IT, maaaaaa boys. 🥰

laura

I’m pretty familiar with all of them. I think the least would probably be Peak Boy. But I’ve been on army twt since 2017 and you learn a lot through that app. I also watch a lot of kdramas

jergens lotion

this in the soop def seems more calm. im guessing its because theyre older.

briana

QOTD: I'm mostly familiar with Wooshik and Seojoon outside of Tae. Hyungsik somewhat. I'm not super familiar with Peakboy. Edit after watching the episode: This made me fall in love with Wooshik more. Their friendship is wholesome and cute. I think our Taehyung is lucky to have friends like that outside of BTS.

Chantel

It would be so fun to watch kdramas with you guys!!

Regine

You guys should watch their dramas i would love to see you guys react atleast one each of their dramas, you guys are gonna love them.

tipsycakes⁷

I'm not very familiar with the Wooga Squad as well familia, so I feel like I'm on the same page as you while watching this. I'm still excited to watch, though. It's always so interesting & endearing to see any of the members interact with people outside of bangtan 💜 QOTD: Wooshik is the one I'm most familiar with, because of Parasite and Train to Busan. But that's pretty much all I know about him. The other wooga squad members I've heard of from being ARMY. Also, I wonder why they didn't use "Wooga Squad" in the name of the series? I feel like "Wooga Squad In The Soop" or something to that effect would've been a pretty catchy title.

mia

this in the soop just gives me very much wholesome vibes, i love it!! qotd: all of them to an extent.

bembolbee

Yay! So happy to be B Rewatching this with you again familia 💜 QOTD: seojun and hyungsik because of hwarang and ive seen them in other dramas as well after that. Then Wooshik because of parasite and train to busan. I was most clueless with peakboy. Only know him with everything related to bts or wooga squad

Kath

I’m loving this series... and this groups dynamics. So sweet to see Tae being the baby of the group. That scene of him on his tiptoes as the take the Polaroid was too cute. Love how fluffy he’s looking and how well he’s eating.

Carol 💜

Also familia, did you see Memories 2021 will come out on August??? I think till there we'll have finished up with Musters and maybe we could watch it together??? I would really love it ☺️

Kath

Oh and forgot to say that Seo Jun’s real name is Yong Gyu which is why you hear Tae call him Yong Gyu hyung instead. Peakboy and Seo jun went to the same high school.

vasha3095

i would be fun to watch a k-drama or a movie of them with you (oscar winner "parasite") i love taehyung so much and i truly enjoy watching in the soop but it kinda makes me miss our ot7 more. looking forward to ep2 with u familia.

Thank you for this familia, I had no idea so it definitely sounded like "Yoongi hyung" to me. I got so confused 😅

Ami Soe

actually i was kdrama fan before i became ARMY,so i knew all of them.

shasha

I already know all of them because i've had been into kpop songs, K-dramas and K-variety shows since i was 17 years old (2005). And i am 34 years old familia.

Line Henriksen

QOTD: I'm mostly familiar with Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik because of their K-dramas. currently snacking on some gummies 😊

Line Henriksen

I also felt kind of weird watching In The Soop without BTS. But this first episode was really nice, they all seem like genuine people and they care for Tae 💜

Simran Chauhan

QOTD: I'm most familiar Park Seo Joon because of his drama "What's wrong with Secretary Kim?". I also got intrested in K-dramas, K-pop and Korean langauge because of him. He is my fav Korean Actor.

az

thanks familia for your effort to get to know all of Tae's friends! I felt weird as well as I'm so used to bangtan being all together all the time, I guess it's the new chapter that they were talking about and we just have to get used to it, I'm sure we'll have new bangtan content soon! personally I'm more familiar with park seojoon and wooshik as they appear in the majority of kdrama I watch (fight for my way, itaewon class, our beloved summer..) I love their chemistry with tae

Lenny Merlenna

HI guys! I'm most familiar with Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik and Park Hyungsik.. all because of their kdramas that I've watched. Love PSJ in What's wrong with Secretary Kim, Hwarang and Itaewon Class. CWS is not too hard to fall for in Our Beloved Summer and PHS caught my heart in Strong Girl Bong Soon and Hwarang. Not so familiar with Peakboy but I know he is a rapper and he wrote a song with V. All these cute men in one show.. Together with my bias V.. oh man, I think too much eye candy in one place!!! You must try to catch Hwarang one of these days.. it will be so fun to rewatch it with you both again! But I love their friendship and camaraderie.. and Tae is so different with them being the youngest here.

A. Brown

I'm am so loving ITS: Friendcation and seeing/learning about Tae's bond with his Wooga Squad friends. I can't wait for the next episode.

Bri⁷

QOTD: I’m familiar with all of them. I especially love Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik.

OliPau Meim

hello good pm familia. can i ask something if its not a bother but did u guys react to Hwarang where Tae starred at his friends Wooga squad. sorry not very familiar with patreon yet. i have been your patreon for 2 months i think so im still new. sorry in advance. i just wanna know if you react to it or not. have a great day famalia. take care Borahae!

Mimosa Khaund

you should never watch in the soop without snacks, you really have a lot of will power because i get so so hungry :D :D

GANGA JAYAKUMAR

Did you guys notice them wearing matching rings ???

GANGA JAYAKUMAR

park seo joon and choi woo shik were chef and waiter in show youn's kitchen and youn's stay and the producer of the show was Na pd he was the one who collaborated with bts (The Game Caterers X bts run)

Ali W

The 2 Wooga squad members I know the most are Seojun and Hyungsik as I've seen them both in various kdramas and really love them. I was so happy to see this series being released

Linnea Gilbertson

I enjoyed this, i am very familiar with Hyungsik as I really liked some of Ze:a's music especially Ghost of the Wind and Breathe. Hyungsik has a gorgeous voice. I also know that two of the wooga squad were in Hwarang with V, Seo Jun and Hyungsik.
