QOTD: Face-off and Alone are my favorites I can't choose between those lol. Face-off reminds me of 90s or early 2000s R&B

H

Familia did you know there is a hidden track? With jk as backing vocals? Will you react to it? It's so beautiful i cried listening to it and hidden tracks are supposed to be a message to army :')

Re Dixon

QOTD: My favorite song is literally the hidden track Letter, like ever since it was announced that Jimin was gonna release his album I wished everyday for a song like Letter, the fact that he chooses it to be a hidden track breaks me 😭

Priscilla

Yess!!! I love this album, gonna be on repeat Jimin did such a good job. Such different sounds but all cohesive at the same time and such an easy listen. So proud and biased wrecked ! QOTD: Face off which gives me slightly r&b vibes and like crazy which gives me big weeknd vibes with the 80’s beat are my personal favs. The lyrics I have read on Twitter are so beautiful and so is the hidden track, which I would love to see your reaction go also! 💜

Gianne

Hi famiia. just a little info...Jimin said the song Like Crazy was based off of one of his favorite movies Like Crazy. The movie "Like Crazy" is about two young lovers forced apart and the difficulties of maintaining a relationship in the face of their changing lives. Yet, no matter how often circumstances pull them apart, they find them self together again. I don't remember what articles it was because I've been reading and watching all his interviews. There is also a hidden track that is on the CD only...called "Letter". It is a beautiful song. Jungkook does the back up vocals on the song as it builds up towards the end. It's a beautiful beautiful song...too bad he chose to make it a hidden track. I loved his entire album. He really showed himself and what he was going through at this time in his life. He wanted to show that side of himself. He also said in an interview that after PTD Las Vegas he felt lost and depressed and it was the members who told him to put his feelings into music and so he did. As soon as he got back to Korea he started working on his album. He also said because he did that....he is completely OK now. Anyway...Thank you always for your reactions. 💜💜

It's too hard to pick one song!! I'm glad you pointed out that the MV was dreamlike. I also thought the way Jimin chose to sing Like Crazy was very well-thought out because he's singing so dreamily throughout the song about escaping into this "dream." I'm sure he put so much thought into every song on this album!

JiminTaeAmo

Hoping you'll listen to the hidden track Letter soon. I think it maybe be fav

Sarah

You guys pieced together the story really well for not having the lyrics! My interpretation is all the songs are connected bc in Face-off he decides to get "off his face" drunk (if you've heard that phrase I feel like the title references this w a play on words) then he pours a drink at the end of the interlude, then drinks a lot in Like Crazy to escape his issues, then wakes up to his alarm in Alone & mentions Hennessey in SMF2. Def a common alcohol theme it seems haha

Ellie

Waiting for Jungkook's lives!!

H

Familia i just finished the reaction and I'd love for you to react to the lyrics! Jimin literally said "I’m actually not good at beating around the bush, or indirectly saying things, and that’s the same with my lyrics. I just wrote the emotions as they were, exactly how I felt two years ago, and the emotions that I felt in every situation [at that time]. So if you just listen to the music, you’ll understand the lyrics right away." (Also you should read his rolling stones interview, it made me so emotional he talks about the album and how the members helped him when he was feeling lost during ptd in vegas and how they pushed him to put those emotions into music)

I love all, LETTER makes me cry

As for the songs for interlude: dive he said that the first track was “Face-Off,” which is really intense and rebellious, and the next track was the main track, “Like Crazy,” which has a feeling of dreamy intoxication. He thought it would be nice to have something in-between that would bridge those two tracks. And he was not crying i believe he was running and his speech to army is from ytc busan concert (https://twitter.com/btsmemeories/status/1639157820879937537?t=1ZlNb1MNr7Bo72oRCvN3dw&s=19) :")

Loved loved this album!!!! Jiminsiiiiiii!!!!!💜💜🥹🥹🥹😭😭😭💜💜💜💜 Loved all them but esp Set Me free and Letter 💜

Luv.OT13💎

I honestly would have loved more songs on the album but I love the album we got. I would say my “favorite” songs are Alone, Face-off, Like Crazy and Set Me Free pt.2. Ugh I just love the album. I love the beat of the face off. And Alone was a song I wanted to hear from Jimin. Letter is such a beautiful song. Loved the reaction💜💜

Hibz

Jimin just said on Stationhead that during Interlude: Dive; he's not crying but it's the sound of him running.

sara

Are you reacting to the lyrics as well?

kookmineve

My favourite track is Letter

mel

i can’t pick a favorite, for me it’s more about the whole experience from start to finish. it just speaks to me personally on so many levels and i cannot express how much this whole era means to me.. how much jimin means to me. to see him express himself the way he wants is so beautiful to see.

Hi Familia, this is my first ever comment on here, I am usually a quiet watcher haha but I had to say something. I love all the songs so much but I think today my fav is like crazy, I just love the beat and after seeing the choreography today I am even more obsessed. Doolset have the translations on their site and they are always my go to for subs, I would love to see you react to those. I am really in awe of how vulnerable Jimin has been with us on this album

J.N

Best reaction fr 👌💕

Dorrie

After several listening I think Face off and alone are my favorites. But honestly this album is too good, same Uthman I wish it could be longer too but I have so much satisfaction with his project it’s perfect the way it his 💜💜 Thank you for that Familia 🫶🏾

Aparna

Bookish Theories actually released an explanation video for both Jimins singles (and it was pretty great). If you guys wanna check that out when youre watching the lyric translations.

Tahani Swoon

Hey familia please do check out Bookish Theories for Jimin videos ^^^

Meg💜💜

Hi Familia, Please watch this https://youtu.be/xPCY_hs48qA It's Jimin trying to blend with Armys and they have to find the imposter... They keep referring to MOA it's TXTs fandom name which Jimin is pretending to be... Can't wait for you to watch this 💜💜💜

kookmineve

When will you post the Letter reaction?

Elentaツ

Honestly, set me free is just not my cup of tea. But I like meaning and performance. Whole album is Ok, but I personally like Alone, Like crazy (eng.ver) and Letter💓

Tonya Coler

Honestly, I was very shocked the first time I heard "Set Me Free". Joon and Jhope's solo albums had explicit songs filled with anger on them, and they also shocked me, but not near as much as hearing it from Jimin. I think it could have grown on me if it didn't have the F-bomb in it. Same for "Face-off". "Interlude:Dive" hurt. I hadn't seen anyone else say Jimin was crying but that's exactly what I heard too & it hit me so hard! My heart hurt for him. I really like "Like Crazy". Especially the English version. I think when he says "I'd rather be lost in the lights, lost in the lights, I'm outta my mind" he's talking obout the lights of the stage. He's missing being on the stage with ARMY and it's driving him out of his mind! Then there's "Lonely" & "The Letter". I think they are my favorites. He really opened up & shared his heart with ARMY.

Mich Sm

I love the whole album, I can't stop listening to it. Set me Free and Face off are my favorites for now.

Milagros Camarena

Hello Familia💜 Hope you’re having a beautiful friday. I really hope you react to the lyrics of each song, I think the lyrics are the essential of every bts and solo’s albums, if you know the lyrics you can feel the song in a different way🥰. Pdta: I don’t know if you react to the lyrics of every song of INDIGO (in that album the lyrics are also so important and beautiful) or if you did it in your own time, which is also good😚

Maria B

Hi, I'm not sure if you've seen but doolset bangtan has the translations up on her website for FACE. Here's the link
