Taemin is a member is the group Shinee Active since 2008 He debuted at the age of 14 and first put out solo work in 2014 with his song danger He just released a new album If you’re interested in checking out his things. I would suggest listening to some shinee songs for an introduction then make your way through his solo releases. My favorite song is Advice/Guilty Closely followed by Hypnosis

Haven't watched the video yet but SHINee is the group that got me into kpop in 2011 and Taemin was my first bias (Jonghyun became my bias later on). He will always have a special place for me. As of favourite song,it's complicated to choose one but i think my top 3 are Move,Criminal and Advice

Letícia Oliveira

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I'M SOOOO HAPPY

Temi M

Omg yessss

maitê

what a nice surprise! taemin is definitely one of my favorite kpop soloists, his music is right up my alley and hes such a detailed performer and storyteller. criminal and his new release guilty are definitely my favorite songs by him

Shamya✨

Yayyy so so so happy you guys did this❤️❤️❤️ LOVE YOU GUYS

moniq tesalonika

Familia, taemin and jimin are so close to each other. they're the members of padding squad (just like wooga squad) with Kai of EXO and ha sungwoon (who sing "with you" with jimin) too! I'm not a fan of taemin but everytime i see Taemin, he always remind me of Jimin

Gis

what a great surprise, it's really cool how bts makes us meet so many incredible artists and Taemin is one of them.

briana

SHINee is my first Kpop group and they are by far my ults. Taemin is probably one of my favorite artists of all time. His artistry and everything about him just hits so close to home. He is a big inspiration on my own art and writing and he's also why Jimin is my BTS bias. Taemin is a Kpop icon and SHINee is one of Korea's most well-loved groups. And yes, Taemin and Jimin are very close friends. SHINee is also still together, 15 years strong!

Madison

Shinee was my first K-pop group, love them so much. I’m not a stan anymore (I kinda stopped when Jonghyun passed away, it was too much) but they have a special place in my heart always; I could talk about them for hours. They’re still an active group, but Taemin just got back from the military a few months ago. They were in a similar situation as BTS, still an active group, just doing solo work/variety shows, passing time.

Madison

Taemin & Jimin are apart of The Padding Squad (similar to the Wooga Squad but with a few more people.) They’ve been friends since I believe 2016. Wooga Squad started with Sungwoon, the guy Jimin made the song “With You.” And from Sungwoon, he basically just kept introducing them to one another & they became one group of friends.

kokomelon

Fun fact, taehyung and Minho of shinee has actually acted together in hwarang! Also shinee is still together, they had a comeback earlier this year too!

Shay Peart

I love Taemin I got to know of him through the stage collab he did with Jimin, and the song I listened to and got hooked on was Advice and that was it from there especially because he gave me major Jimin vibes too. However, by the time I listened to the song he was already in the military. Also, regarding his album the songs I like the most are Guilty and Rizzness.

JadJad

So happy you guys watched this! Shinee are one of my ults and I’ve loved them for years. My biases are Jonghyun and Key but the whole group is so amazing. Advice and Criminal are up their as my favourite Taemin title tracks. Shinee has gone through so much as a group and I’m always thankful they are still making music, as soloists and as a group that is forever 5 💎🤍

Yuu97_OT5

Hi Familia! Good Day! Trying to catch with BTS's contents & your contents haha. I will definitely make time this week, hopefully hehe. Question of the day: Do you know who Taemin is? If so, what’s your favorite song of his? - Not really familiar with Taemin or any Shinee Songs but I do know some of the members, specially when their main vocalist (?) Jonghyun - passed away, it was such a sad story that I had to look them up (it was on our local news). I recognize Minho, he was in Hwarang, if ever in the future you'll react to it, you'll see him there, him & V's character is quite close hehe (spoiler, sorry). One of my friends is a Taemin bias hehe, she really loves him & she was able to attend his concert here just recently, and it was kinda cute bec she posted a picture of Yoongi and told Taemin via caption that this is his new man atm 😆🫶💜 But I could say that Shinee is one of the very 1st kpop group that I heard.

Chim

I know shinee because jimin and taemin are really good friends. I've not really listened to their music. Another member i know is minho because he's one of my favourite actors and he also acted in hwarang with V.

jooniesbonsai 🪴⊙⊝⊜

awww im so happy you got to meet taemin. I don't know much about him except obviously he's an incredible dancer/performer and one of jimins closest friends. This episode reminded me how much I love yoongi and jimins dynamic. THE BICKERING NEVER ENDS.

11am09

SHINee (pronounced shiny) are still together, our 5 bright members 💎 Their last comeback was Hard (only 3 members did the promotions because their leader Onew is on a hiatus for health issues if i remember correctly).Onew, the leader, powerful vocalist and strong too (i dont know now but he used to be able to break a walnut with one flick of a finger).Jonghyun, the main vocalist, sadly passed in december 2018,but he's forever here. If you watch variety shows,Key is in those a lot (he used to be called Almighty Key because he was good at dancing, singing, rapping, everything),he always seems to know every songs' dances. Minho is popular as an actor and is friend with Taehyung;also he loves sports and is very competitive. Key and Minho are both 1991 liners and we often say they are like an old married couple because they are the same age but are so different in a lot of aspects so they bicker a lot (as seen in the clip where Minho was eating peaches). And then Taemin, the maknae. As said here,he's a huge role model for a lot of people, including Jimin and Hoshi (Hoshi is a successful fanboy and also Key mentioned that Carats would go to Seventeen fansigns and gift Hoshi SHINee stuff). He might be calm here but he's mischievous with his members.

jooniesbonsai 🪴⊙⊝⊜

sometimes when I rewatch older bangtan content like rookie king or bts gayo, jimin would always mention either taemin or taeyang and it's cool to see how things end up working out. Like he ended up becoming bestfriends with someone he looked up to, and then years later he collabed with his other role model. im so proud :)

Bronwyn Turnquist

Thank you SO SO SO much for watching this!!! This has made me so happy!!! SHINee was actually my first kpop group! I stumbled across their debut in 2008 and have loved them with my whole being since. SHINee was and continues to be crazy influential on the industry. They've also been crazy influential on me as a person. Because I was 8 when they entered my life I have grown up with them, and they've had a huge impact on every aspect of me. When I first showed SHINee content to my best friend she said that she could see elements of my personality in each of the members, almost like I had absorbed each member's personality. This interview means the world to me. Hearing Taemin talk about his work so openly and talk about his journey is just so incredible to me. I am also endlessly thankful that the editors did not edit out Jonghyun. I know Yoongi would never let that slide but it still means SO much to me that they kept Jonghyn in his correct spot. SHINee is and forever will be 5 and it is so disrespectful when people cut Jonghyun out, and it makes me so happy that the Big Hit editors properly showed the group. QOTD: Its so insanely hard to pick just one Taemin song, but the song that first came to mind is Heaven. Here are some performance suggestions: Taemin, Heaven - https://youtu.be/NfdYhJ1Xpro?si=JG5W8qK2v1aoNwGp SHINee, Everybody - https://youtu.be/P_VJ_flgEVo?si=_ONj3moEh0yhmvP5 - this is the performance Taemin mentions in the episode as the most memorable SHINee performance These next two are SHINee live performances I always come back to: SHINee, Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer - https://youtu.be/mtFK7FxKdLs?si=y-K5CMq51Ogy9Esr - classic songs, classic SHINee concert performance. They also were having technical issues during the performance but they handled it so well and killed the performance like usual; it really demonstrates how good of a team they are and how strong of performers they are. SHINee, Like a Fire - https://youtu.be/oDrWHvhuLxc?si=Im_aZsIHEewxay0Z - this performance is just the members having fun and you get to see how fun they are and how much they enjoy performing! I could talk about them endlessly, so I'll cut myself off here. If anyone wants to get into them or has any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Shadow Glow

YAY let's goooo! I was hoping you would react to this! QOTD: Tough question! Goodbye holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first songs of his I heard, but we can't talk about Taemin without mentioning Move. The song itself is amazing and the choreo is just a chef's kiss! Also his new song Guilty is sooooo good. I think these 3 are my favorites!

Tannie-Aeongi

I do know of Taemin, although I know next to nothing about him or Shinee. I somewhat follow kpop outside of BTS and even just from me trying to super casually keep up with kpop stuff, I know that Taemin is a kpop legend. I think it would be hard for people who aren't really into kpop in general to truly get how much of an impact he and his group has had on the industry. You can't have a conversation about the best dancers in kpop without Taemin coming up, or the best performances without Shinee.

Shreya

I am not that familiar with shinee just know the members cause I’ve been following bts since a lot of years so a lot of Kpop content ends up on my feed but I did recommend this reaction to you guys because I just find this video so endearing and as far as I know “shinee”hasn’t disbanded they’re still together but have solo projects just like how bts has

Shreya

And oh yea one of the shinee members is in the hwarang drama which “v”is a part of I think it’s Minho

Purple Girlz

I discovered kpop at the end of 2nd gen era. I enjoy their songs but not their personality and other stuff, plus I don't really have smartphone and as students I have a limited access of internet during that time. And In my country only have mcoutdown, running man and dream team on our tv channel. First member I know is Minho because of dream team.

Becky Howell

I’m so happy you reacted to this Familia! Shinee was the next group I found after I became a fan of BTS, I watched Minho in Hwarang with Tae and started to listen to them thankfully it was roughly when Minho was discharged from the military and they were coming back with their song ‘Don’t Call Me’ which is of course now one of my favourite because it was my first. Taemin wise, my favourite songs are Advice, Move & Sayonara Hitori.

Dottie

"jiminar" where this name came from& what's "they worked together together" XDDD One thing i didn't noticed then my 4th watch with you guys - they didn't eat any food! Taemin & Jimin both are very cautious about their weight & diets. so different from episodes with JK who ate so happily throughout! This episode's so much fun seeing both 93ers yet one as maknae one as hyung radiate such different vibe. Then added jimin as special guest?! 3 of them same height!!! then Taemin & Jimin both are so similar & both adorable babies! From here we saw Taemin is a protective friend of jimin. When jimin said he didn't leave home for 3 wks & felt lonely, Taemin immediately asked "why didn't you call me?!". Then when Jimin said please don't talk about me (Lie), this should be about him Taemin today", Taemin went "Why?(why not)". Same as Suga, Taemin knows Jimin's insecurity to himself & tried to give as many compliments to him.

rms

QOTD: I first heard of Taemin because a lot of my kpop favourites would mention him as their role model so from there I started to learn more about him then I discovered he was in SHINee and now I am a shawol🫢😂 As for favourite song it’s hard to pick a favourite song because there’s to many good songs. Fun fact Taemin actually debuted in 3 different generations: 2nd gen with SHINee in 2008 3rd gen as a solo artist in 2014 and 4th gen with SUPERM in 2019.

Bri⁷

I discovered Taemin through Jimin. He’s one of jimin’s closest friends in the industry(since 2016 I believe) That’s how I discovered he was in a group named Shinee and became a shawol. I adore Jitaemin friendship so much along with the rest of “the padding squad” So Jimin surprising him was just so heartwarming to see. The kpop world has been waiting to see more interactions between Jimin and Taemin and hopefully they get a chance to collab🙏🏽 As a Jimin and Taemin biased armyxshawol, I was personally on cloud nine!!✨✨

Becky Howell

Taemin and Jimin have been friends for quite a while and are in the ‘Padding Squad’ along with Kai from Exo and Ha Sung-swoon (who Jimin sang ‘With You’ with for an OST last year) ☺️. It’s funny you should mention Perfect Man too as there great audience footage of Shinee absolutely Jamming to BTS while they’re performing Perfect Man 😂

Bri⁷

Hard to pick a favorite Taemin song, so just gonna name the top current songs I’ve been listening to a lot lately: Black Rose, 2 Kids, Heaven, Move, Thirsty, Advice, Want, Idea, Artistic Groove, and Famous. A recent full performance I would highly recommend is his Mcountdown in France where he performed “Advice” “Move” and “Criminal.” https://youtu.be/Mxc_1iHL3-w?si=RpD8BepK8yphGh0R I would definitely recommend checking out his album!! He performs two songs from his album “Guilty” and “Rizzness” Performance links: https://youtu.be/8H0wnc77n8M?si=U56Ut1qCg3GluJgq (Guilty) https://youtu.be/z_OIrDGiWrg?si=Tk_nJ1gawi12cyGL (The Rizzness)

Bri⁷

About everyone in the industry, even kpop fans, always tend to mention how similar jimin and taemin are. They’re literally like long lost twin brothers it’s crazy. I’ve always said, they’re the same text but different fonts.

Cynthia_pk

familia please react to V's VICNIC HIGHLIGHTS on bangtan tv.... You guys will love it.

l

yea Jimin and Taemin have been friends for years. Back when i discovered bts and kpop as a whole in 2017... I saw so many fancams of Taemin and Jimin together during award show season, along with the other ppl in their little group. You would see all the members with certain ppl and the members would either just bow and greet them or share the same mutual friends lol. Its kinda funny how Jimin's friend group Padding squad are all very popular and known for their dance skills as well, talented people coming together lol. Also wanna add, as much as i do see similarities between Jimin and Taemin/Taeyang. Jimin is a bit more special in my eyes, all of bts is. Ofc the have gotten influenced by many idols but they each have their own color and individuality (as does Taemin as a solo artist.) They are very different from the average idol group and i think thats why they have made it so far. They have something special 💜 While most groups have clearly branched out, BTS remain with the same goal in mind. i cant wait for their return!

PhuNara ApoBangpo⁷

This was a good episode. Funny per the ush. Hahaha. I do know who Taemin is. Though I dont listen to too much of his music I do have two faves I wouldnt be able to choose between. Those are 'Flame Of Love'(KoreanVersion) & 'Advice'. I love those songs.

Rae

I loved this episode so much. Taemin and Shinee overall are such legends when it comes to kpop. My all time favorite Taemin song is Advice, it’s such a masterpiece. Anything Taemin puts out is always so artistically amazing.

Lama

Finally back home and ready to watch! I’ve been waiting for thisss <33

Minnie

If you r curious abr taemin music pls react to this "trinity holy"mvs called criminal and advice and idea. Highly recommended. his soloworks is topnotch! Also.all 3 dance practices.

Minniekookoo

I loveeee TAEMIN and SHINee, they were my first KPOP Group in 2012 and i love them soooooo much. You should watch some of their content. they're an amazing artists.

noura

SHINee is my favorite group until now. Their music is soo goood and their live performances are insane and Taemin is really the defintion of spoiled maknae his members love him so much and would do anything for him.. in his solo promotions the members are always supporting Taemin and shwoing up for him. Their relationship is really amazing

Alyssa

Taemin was also on Pixid if you want to watch it. It was so funny and good. He did much better than V and Jimin!!!

Dorrie

It is so incredible how jimin became close with his 2 role models. He’s been friends with Taemin for years and he collaborated with Taeyang who always has many compliments to say about him and even cook for him 🥹 That’s the Jimin effet 💜 I am so proud of him Taemin and Jimin are literally twins lol

VJMJK

Since BTS and SHINee are my top2 Kpop group, I would like to see you guys watch more SHINee Group things. You guys could start with the songs mentioned in suchwita: EVERYBODY, HARD,VIEW. I actually always feel a little confused why you guys don’t listen other groups music but watch their shows lol.No hate just a suggestion,if you react more music thing I would definitely pay for you every month for this tier. But anyway thank you so much for watching this, you guys are always the BEST! And I actually think SHINee is the most worthy group to know after BTS,hope you could give them more chance.

Kk.ot13

QOTD: I know about SHINee since 2021 but I never really got into them. I seen some of their interviews and listen to a couple of songs. I have listened to some of his songs and out of his solos I do like Gulity is one of my favorites

mamimumemo

SHINee was one of the firsf kpop groups that I knew, when I was in high school (around 2009-2011). Fast forward to 2020 when I first discovered BTS, to be honest Jimin reminded me a lot of Taemin, from his face features (especially lips), contemporary dance, high pitched voice, even their personality is kinda similar, lovable and caring others but at the same time like to tease others with their cuteness 😂

Léa Esteves

SHINee was the 1st boy group I discovered back in 2009. They're the ones that made me a kpop fan. I even have their poster on one of my bedroom's wall facing my bts posters on the other wall🤣 As for Taemin, he's such a great artist, his solo work is amazing 💙

chesire

Great reaction🥹 SHINee was my first idol before BTS! So I was so happy to see this episode and also I was so happy when I heard that Jimin and Taemin are close friends few years ago. Even though I’m not shawol anymore but I still think they are such a great artists and good people. They have lots of great songs. If your are interested in SHINee, I recommend Sherlock, Dream girl and View. Their b-side songs are also popular to be good. In korea, SHINee is very popular and also they are popular individually. They are still active both in k-pop and variety shows. And I never think of 93liner, but yeah there’s not much..? But if there’s, they are very popular lol like Suga, Taemin, IU etc… Anyway it was so fun to see this again with you😆

Ikram Ahmed

The challenge he did with Jimin is Shinee’s latest song Hard which was released when all members came back from military

Lisa Marie

Minho from SHINEE was in "Hwarang" with Taehyung

Shamya✨

YES SHINEE IS one of my ult groups ( my top 3 are SHINee, bts, and Svt) so whenever we get interactions IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!

mia

hoshi from svt really is like a huge fan of SHINee but especially taemin, also taehyun from txt literally became an idol because of SHINee as well!! im not a shawol but i do enjoy some SHINee’s songs and i do have a lot of care for them because of how they lost one of their members and i just wish them nothing but good things their way ❤️ - qotd: i do know who taemin is he’s like a staple in kpop, my favorite song is definitely advice it’s just too good every time i hear it!

Dottie

Spicy ramen always welcomed (better if someone feeds him XD

Jovygvmcreations

Love that song. n How can I Forget Minho From Shinee Is a Part of the Hwarang Cast haha...

Nele

jimilar for the win hahaha

Fern

Gosh this was such a great episode! SHINee is really legendary. I remember discovering them 11 years ago. It was the first time I got in touch with korean culture through the kdrama: boys over flowers. I really like the OST of SHINee and that was first time I got introduced to kpop. Since then I've been hooked haha. I would also love to see the suchwita episode with Kim Jongwan of Nell. He did a few collabs with Yoongi and Namjoon. I saw them last summer in Korea and it was such a beautiful moment. They are amazing artists!

nikki

I'm catching up on videos I haven't watched recently because I was busy with work but anyways.... just wanna ask if you would be doing the other SUCHWITA episodes that you haven't watched yet as well?? I enjoy watching SUCHWITA content even if the guests are not idols.. Hope you catch up with it as well maybe if your schedule clears up a bit.. I know the contents are continuously pouring for you on the daily hehe.. :)
