We knew the day was coming but we tried tricking ourselves that it would never come. 💔Today we are joined by RM, V, Jimin, and JK as they share their farewell messages to Army before their military enlistment.

We were happy to see them all gathered together despite the reason.

We are already missing them and are wishing them a safe adventure ahead…

i'd say i'm feeling sad and a bit hopeful at the same time. since the earlier they enlist, the sooner the bts reunion will be! just want june 2025 to come soon

Oh my ghad! I just commented this hehehe, thank you Familia! Looking forward for Tae's appearance on Running Man 😊💜 It's a great episode - I hope watching it will make you a bit happier. Just to add, Tae will appear on 2 episode hehe - it's quite a long one. Fun fact about this live, I saw it on my notification bar and I literally had to check who was the member going live bec it only says BTS...so I was so shocked and got emotional seeing them in one frame. They made the mood quite uplifting even though there is sadness I mean you can see it, but at the same time they are trying to hide it too. Just to add, Taehyung was actually referring to his specific position in the Military which I think is Special Task Force (STF) within the Army's Capital Defense Command [The STF undertakes critical operations such as hostage rescues, counter-insurgency, and counter-terrorism missions, among other high-stakes tasks, including VIP security and special operations under the ROK President's directives.] Then Jimin and JK I think will have Jin as their drill instructors [Reports are also rife that Jimin and Jungkook are preparing to join the Army's 5th Infantry Division boot camp, with Jin, BTS's oldest member, already working there as an assistant trainer. Both Jimin and Jungkook will commence basic training on December 12, according to reports], not sure about Namjoon yet. I'm not sure if Namjoon and Taehyung will enlist together or not but, Jimin and JK will enlist together (These are based from the articles I found on SNS) Question of the day: What would you say are the top 3 emotions that you’re feeling right now? - It's a mix of longingness, excitement, and eagerness.

I absolutely love the way they just try their best to look happy and contended in front of armys…like even in their last live they were just as chaotic as ever and leaving us with the biggest smile on our face ever💜

also familia. jimin and jungkook applied to the military through the buddy system, which is basically like a system where you're assigned a random "buddy" for your enlistment period through a randomized lottery apparently. jimin and jungkook were chosen as each other's buddies so they're gonna be together for the entirety of their enlistment period!

qotd: nervousness, hope, bittersweet. i know they’ll be back soon and im excited for 2025 and beyond but i can’t help but feel nervous. i’ll miss them so much! did u hear jimin and jungkook have decided to go into the military as companion soldiers using the buddy system? meaning they’ll be by one another the entire time and be each others support! there’s some articles explaining it on google and was on the korean version of bighits notice! it’s so sweet!!! i’m hoping they don’t enlist before taehyungs bday, but i’m pretty positive that they will:( i just keep reminding myself that the sooner they leave, the sooner they come back. it just feels sad knowing all the members are ALL going to be enlisted:(, butttt i know so much content is waiting for us!

the beginning RM tricked them to do the "2!3!BulletProof! This is BTS"! You can see RM observed & waited for V & Jimin busy putting food in their mouth then started XD he literally said "i wanted to do it when you were eating" Great that they did the live together, i can see how much more emotional if they do it one by one, especially Jimin...seriously he's the one I worry most... physically he will be slay it just like the other members but mentally.. idk... I can already picture him with teary eyes if he did this on his own. It's such a relief seeing him giggled & enjoyed the food with the 3 together on this live & knowing from the news that JK JM will enlist as companion soldiers (*will stay as supporting buddy throughout the 18mths) The ending, they just wanna create a good memory for us with JK "showing" his shaved head by running pass in front of camera (teasing us!!!!)

I had mixed emotions especially when I watched it live. Seeing them together and seeing them laugh was so precious. I wish them nothing but the best in their service. For them to be healthy and safe💜

This live was the most bangtan way to have a send off and I wouldn't have it any other way. It wasn't sad by definition (although im sure alot of ARMYS including myself were tearing up seeing them all together after a while). They kept the mood light for the most part and only got serious when it was necessary to address some things. THE ENDING WAS SO CHAOTIC WITH JUNGKOOK RUNNING SCREAMING "THIS WAS BTS" WITH HIS BALD A** HEAD LOL

Jimin has been so giggly lately (like more than usual and thats saying smth bc this man is always laughing and I love it). I legit did not recognize tae at first when I watched this like bro his hair reminded me of his debut days he fr looks so young😭 What the heck have jimin and Jungkook been up to?? I'm assuming its their travel series right? I WANNA KNOW ALREADY. AND TAE WHAT HAS HE BEEN UP TO HMM?? AND JOONIE??

jimin laughing the entire time made this live so much lighter and i mean all of their energy’s especially taehyungs were so in good spirits and not letting this inevitable thing bring them down which it’s fine if it did because it’s not an easy thing. i do hope armys listen to the boys and don’t go because it’s just not necessary/safe, like jungkook said respect their last request. jin will be out in no time then hobi, we will have them two for a while which will very fun then it will be back to our ot7 in no time!! so much stuff is coming out next year which i truly don’t take it for granted. - qotd: bittersweet, melancholy & anticipation

When they talking about SUGA, they trynottolaugh because he is working as 공익근무요원 (bc of his shoulder injured). The levels and difficulties of that duty's works is known as easier than normal soldier(bc of their injure), but they still work hard with sacrificing their youth time.

This enlistment hits particularly hard because it's all 4 of them at once, I will miss them dearly dearly...I just hope for their safety, health and happiness and I hope we armys stay strong as well and support and respect them through and through in this time and onwards... I had been expecting the left 4 members would go to the military together since I was hoping that all 7 come back before 13th June 2025. Jin will be back in June 2024, so is the date before the BTS anniversary. They do plan it thoughtfully and show the BTS & ARMY spirit so much! Therefore, I am happy about their decision, which is to not let us wait 4-5 years for the reunion like other groups. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I feel empty tbh, ive been an army since i was 18, and im now 25. I've had them by my side as support and as my own personal therapy. But i knew the sooner they would leave the sooner they come back so i also feel a bit relieved. You can tell the members were trying really hard to not show any sadness to not make army sad as well. Im excited and thankful for all the content they have had and will have while they are gone. They are so hard working, i dont know any other idol who has ever put so much work and effort just to keep fans company while they are gone. They are special. Like they have mentioned before, Yoongi's concert was such a huge help and distraction while the hyung line was gone, I am forever thankful of that man. I dont know if you are aware but Jin has also been posting monthly small videos he prerecorded and i think its the sweetest thing ever. I tear up every time i get the notification. The fact that he prerecorded all of that including his birthday (a YEAR in advance) is so admirable. I will miss the tannies so dearly. Im so glad 2seok is coming back next year, I know once they return safely I will once again feel that amazing happiness I have felt for almost 8 years now💜

Jimin laughing, being all giggly, and silly is just so him. I love that so much about him. He brightens and lightens the mood. Which made me smile for the first time since the announcement of them leaving. I just wish the best for our boys and so grateful for their hardwork in creating content for us while they are gone, to fill the void💜

Jimin and Jungkook enlisting through the buddy system and meaning they will be together for the whole 18 months makes me feel so much comfort and the fact they had apply for this application together back in August time, and there was no guarantee they would get approved, but just applying means you automatically get sent to one of the harshest areas, but they did it anyway. They are each others biggest sense of support and having each other will be so good for them PLUS we have their travel show coming out at sometime too

Actually, the buddy isn't randomized or selected for you, you have to specifically apply together for the program and wait to see if you are approved/selected. Then you choose a location together and whether you are approved for that particular location is randomized by lottery. :)

Oh, but you can only choose locations from a list of units that accept buddy applicants, and apparently those locations are typically harsher from what I've read and heard on the program. I hope and pray that all the members return from their service safely and healthily.

Top 3 emotions: conflicted, grateful, hopeful. There is also sadness, longing, and anxiety mixed in there as well. I just really hope and pray that all goes well and that all of the members finish their enlistment safely and healthily, and that they retain their happiness, hopefulness, and passion. I want them to feel safe and supported. And I'll miss them so much. I'm looking forward to the bundle of content scheduled to come our way, and for Jin to join us, and then Hobi too. :)

When I first watched that live I cried and I laughed at the same time. It is so emotional. I honestly do not know how I feel it is everything at the same time. Sad, excited for the new content, hopeful, scared….

the love they have and the love we have is THE STRONGEST. we can do this. even though this was the last live.. it also healed me to see them giggle, being this honest and strong. i love them so much and i just will always be here waiting for them. also i for sure think we will be packed with content... we think there's a pause and then boom... we're overloaded with content left and right hahah - the love for armys from them is something so beyond special !!!! 💜

So what i found out is that Taehyung is going to be in special forces and i think that it is harder than normal because ARMY is worried and he was trying to say he was ready to take on this challenge. Also i don't think you guys noticed but Jungkook said he wanted to be in special forces too like Tae and i found out it's because of his tatoos that he can't join. Anyway we will all get through this and let's just wish for the health and safety of the members:)

At the beginning when Jimin said "They really dont", I believe he was referring to what namjoon said that 1.5 years will pass by quickly.. They were giggling but you know they're not giggling GIGGLING, if you know what i mean. It's evident when the laughter dies down and there's just this silence.. I'm sure they're trying hard to be strong for us and to not worry us but there's so much going through their minds. They're so selfless. Like they are the ones who will be enlisting but they're more worried about ARMYs.. :( Seriously wishing them to stay safe and healthy whichever unit they end up serving. Each passing day is a day closer to 2025 so lets all hang in there for our boys!!! Family hug everyone.. :') PS: I can already imagine how crazy it would be when Jin finally gets discharged!! Or even when we just get that notice from bighit that he will be discharged! It will literally be an ARMY holiday!!!! Looking forward to it so much!!!

Namjoon and Taehyung go on the 11th to a training place and then once done training they will go to separate places for deployment, and Jimin and Jungkook go to the same training place on the 12th, and then because of the buddy system they applied for, they will be deployed to the same place for the 18 months

The one he said he wanted to do was a 4 year course, which is why he can't do it, but he applied for the buddy system with jimin back in August and they had to go through a multi step application process

They will be out in time for them to be together for Festa 2025. It's hard but 18 mths will go by quickly. This year itself flew by and is almost over. They said they've left us many gifts so we have that to look forward to as well. We will support each over until 2025 and beyond!
