Hello familia! We have been thinking of many ways we can improve your user and viewing experience here on Patreon, to ensure you can watch everything smoothly and conveniently 😊. One question we have is which platform do you usually use to watch our videos? Why do you choose that one over the other?

Also, we get numerous emails from Dropbox with some people requesting access or permission to our videos. We do not know if it is familia in our Patreon or outsiders requesting it, so we wanted to ask if there has been any trouble with accessing our Dropbox videos? Does Dropbox ask you to request access/permission from us when you access it?

With this information, we can continue to plan and develop better ways you can smoothly watch our videos, without any inconveniences or problems! We always have you on our minds and want to give you the absolute best.

I usually use Dropbox, since I mostly watch everything on my phone it’s easier that way. Plus it helps that I have the Dropbox app on my phone too.

I generally use Dropbox because of dailymotion ads, but I actually prefer dailymotions video quality. Dropbox has shown me that message a few times saying I needed to request access but when that happened I just closed the link and entered again and it was fixed.

Hmm, as far as I've been aware of there hasn't been trouble accessing dropbox videos. And i've pretty much only have been using that to watch ur videos...although sometimes there have been weird cuts in dropbox but I think thats more of a them issue than something on your end. It usually gets fixed after a few days. and dropbox never asks me request access so THAT parts a bit weird. Patreon usually runs pretty smoothly on my end so no issues over here :)

I always use Dropbox because of dailymotion ads, but sometimes Dropbox will freeze up. As far accessing the video it only ask for the password which you provide under the link so that's it.

I prefer Dropbox cause I don’t like the ads on daily motion! And have no issues with it!

I love using dailymotion because I have an ad blocker. I sometimes watch on Dropbox if dailymotion is not there.

I voted for Dropbox because that's what I often use now but when I'm watching old reaction videos, I use Dailymotion. Happy New Year, familia!

I tried to check "both" in the poll, but it won't "stick", so...anyway, I haven't been able to use the Daily Motion links lately, because when they load in the app, instead of the password prompt that I used to get, now I just get a "something went wrong, try again" error. The reason I prefer DM (or even Vimeo) is that I watch on my tablet and the "picture in picture" works better in those (I'm a multi-tasker lol). I use Dropbox less often because if I don't have time to watch the entire video, sometimes it forgets where I was and I have to fast forward, but then doing that seems to interfere with the playback, and I'm forced to just start from the beginning again.

I use dailymotion on my laptop since I have an ad blocker, but if i’m watching your videos on my morning commute then I use dropbox :)

on my laptop i prefer dailymotion, because i often skip a little to rewatch a specifc moment and for some reason that doesn't work with dropbox and annoys me haha. but on mobile/tablet i use dropbox.

i use dropbox on my ipad and i’ve never had issues like that but when i pull it up on my projector i use dailymotion which also has no problems apart from sometimes some videos have ads every 5 mins so i end up moving back to my ipad to go on dropbox lol

I use Dropbox because it works best for AirPlay from my iPad to my tv 😅 I’ve never had any issues accessing Dropbox, it just asks for the password. I don’t use daily motion anymore because the ads. I tried the ad blocker but when I downloaded it, daily motion wouldn’t let me access any videos and had a message like “ads keep our site going! Please disable your ad blocker to continue viewing”

I use dropbox bc I use add blocker so Dailymotion is not letting me access it, but I still prefer the dropbox, I have no problem accessing using the password that you provided so it might be possible that those requesting access are not in patrion so they don't have the passwords

Anyway , Dropbox has been really reliable. I hope it doesn't change , because watching on Dailymotion is unbearable now. Even so before ADpocalypse I was using Dailymotion ( it was smooth in the past).

Hi Familia! Dropbox has been really efficient for me other than Vimeo and Dailymotion. When time goes by videos uploaded on vimeo is no longer available, while on Dailymotion, it is always available but the main issue are the ads that keeps on showing up every other minute or two. I also tried to search for other video hosting platforms and found some recommendations from patreon support itself. I'm not that familiar with the video hosting platform names but you may wanna check them out through the link below: https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046704651-Video-hosting-options they have streamable, cloudflare stream, wistia, vidyard... I’ve gotten asked by Dropbox a few times in the past 6 months to request access to a video from you. I’m not sure why it happens. But dropbox & Vimeo are still the best for watching your videos. Daily Motion is a hassle with the ads especially if I’m casting to my tv which I do most of the time. Borahae & thank you guys

Hi Familia Dropbox works best for me as I usually cast to my TV and Dropbox gives best experience so far. Dailymotion gives issues while casting and adds. I personally have not experienced access issues with Dropbox after entering password.

I only use Dropbox because I have an account there myself. Using your passwords, I've never been asked to request access. However, that might not mean the requests aren't legit, since I have a personal account there.

I usually use Dropbox, I don't have a dropbox account but I can access content with the passwords you share and it doesn't even ask me to request access. The reason I don't use Dailymotion is I keep getting a lot of ads. Again I access Dailymotion also without an account.

dropbox has been really easy, Dailymotion has too many ads to enjoy comfortably. i have to close my ad blocker for Dailymotion so it doesn't work there.

Dailymotion plays too many ads for me so I only always watch on Dropbox.. I've never encountered anything like asking me for access.. it always functions well with the passwords you provide..

I use Dropbox but if you use Vimeo I will use Vimeo over Dropbox. I don't use Dailymotion. It gives me problems and it has too many ads. I think the reason for the requests you are getting could be because when you open dropbox... there is a pop up box that says something about "do you want to access files"? I can't remember exactly what it says but something about accessing files. Possibly some could click on that accidentally instead of just clicking on the video?? I'm sure I did too in the beginning accidentally.

dropbox is the best! :)) idk why it would prompt to ask for access, but that might just be a random quirk that can happen rarely just like any other bug, no actual issues with the videos
