Kiki Varas

Ahh this is so exciting. I love all those performances, although I am curious. Why didn’t you guys add NewJeans, was it just too many videos to watch or something else. Nothing wrong with not including them I was just curious. New jeans are my favorite girl group so I was waiting for them🤧 Lmao but that’s fine I love all the other groups. Thanks for reacting to all of those videos🙌

tesalonika

ummm i think we need part 2 cause i need more le sserafim ngl🥲

Desi Jones

QOTD: My most listened to groups in kpop right now are BTS and TXT!!!!

iTanasia

maybe it would have been too many videos at once. if they do a part two i hope we can get some enhypen and newjeans !

Elizabeth Seravello

QOTD: My most listened to groups right now are NCT, OnlyOneOf, and Xdinary Heroes! So good!

Kk.ot13

In SVT the Hip-Hop unit or Rappers are Vernon, Mingyu, Wonwoo and Scoups. The Vocal unit is Joshua, Seungkwan, Dk, Woozi and Jeonghan. The performance unit or dancers are Dino, The 8, Jun, and Hoshi. But all the members are all rounders they all can dance, sing and rap. The 8 has background in b-boying, during this time Scoups was still recovering from his injury but he still came to the award ceremony he was just sitting out of the performance sitting with the others idols. Cheers is a leaders unit song. Woozi is the vocal unit leader, Hoshi is the leader of the performance unit and Scoups is the general leader of SVT and also the leader of the Hiphop unit. I don’t know if you noticed that Jeonghan wasn’t in GDA 2024 because he was recovering from ankle surgery. SVT performances are usually that big QOTD: My most streamed has become SVT with BTS a close second

Seventeen performances with all 13 members are the best🩷🩵miss s.coups😭

orange lemon

Heyyy thanks for the reaction! Here's a bit of a long explanation for SEVENTEEN's performances: Seventeen's SUPER choreo that you were asking - (2 fingers on the forehead), is a reference from Dragon Ball Z. The song SUPER in korean is actually called "SONOGONG" which means the Monkey King, a legendary fictional character from a Chinese novel. There's been a lot of cartoons and anime that were made from this novel, most famous would be Dragon Ball Z. There are still more in the choreo and lyrics that are related to the story, so if you are a fan of the anime you'll probably understand it more. For GDA 2024, "IMA - Even if the world ends tomorrow" is originally a Japanese release. The song and choreo is so good that a lot of CARATS wants to watch them perform it live. SVT only performed this song during their Japanese promotions and concert tour. So it was a big surprise when they performed it at the award show. Sadly, it wasn't complete members since Scoups is still recovering from his ACL injury and Jeonghan just had ankle surgery. The song CHEERS from GDA 2023 is a release from the SVT leaders unit, SCOUPS, WOOZI and HOSHI. As you probably already heard, there are 3 main units in SVT and each have their own leaders. And lastly, Don Quixote song is from the classic Spanish novel with the same title. I'm not familiar with the story but the choreo and lyrics also uses references from the novel. To be honest, awards shows aren't really the best because camera work and audio sucks. But SVT always delivers with their performances. Their concerts are more fun and just wayyyy better. The award show performances are just a glimpse of what SVT can do. They don't really stick to one genre or concept. But they still serve each time. They are known to be the "Theatre kids of KPOP". Hopefully this won't be the last time you'll be reacting to performances from SVT and other groups. 😉

cinnamonroll

thank you for the reaction! if you love hardcore seventeen songs, then you need to see their performance at AAA 2022. it was my all time favourite!

Shreya

Guys the video is stuck at the start of seventeen second performance (super)

chesire

Qotd: besides bts, it’s aespa or le sserafim or Ive I guess. But I’m listening to solo singers more than group these days like IU, bts solo songs lol, sejeong, etc

Rae

QOTD: Besides BTS I listen to, Seventeen, TXT, Enhypen, Le Sserafim, NewJeans, Ateez, XG, Red Velvet and The Rose. Hope to see NewJeans and Enhypen performances in the future! Loved this it was so fun! And maybe even dance practices to see the full choreo!

Bulletproof Girl

Yeah, it's stuck. I thought it was the internet but it was the same when I used dailymotion after using dropbox.

simran

yea it's the same even when I downloaded the video

Jeon Selim

Same here! It’s still not working for me. I’ll check this out later hoping this gets fixed. 🤞🏻💜

Shreya

Guys i highly recommend you guys reacting to seventeen performances with a more stable camera cause year end shows always panout a lot and youll be missing some major group dance parts and seventeen is known for their synchronicity and they have such unique dance formations (cause they are 13) and all of them are great dancers so when you watch them with a fixed camera its really a diff feeling also glad you liked the last performance which is the one with the more stable camera 😅hope you watch more of svt performances

Shreya

Stable cameras :dance pratices, comeback performances (ex:mnet, inkigayo, m2-4k,studiochoom), concerts

Shreya

Yea i wrote the same comment when just getting to know a group i feel like the comeback performaces and concerts would be better to know the performace dynamics rather than award shows

Purple Girlz

QOTD: Besides bts I listen to, svt, enhypen, txt and le sserafim.

Shreya

hey guys not to rush you but when are you gonna reupload

Carly Swan

I agree! Performances with better camera work make them so much more engaging to watch, performances that are more similar to the TXT ones you watched (non award shows basically)

Jeon Selim

Works fine now. Thank you, Familia! 🥰💜

erika d cannady

Ah I wish you guys wouldn’t have watched the awards show svt performances 😭😭 you can’t even really see them except for small parts, I highly suggest dance practices or performance videos for next time so you can actually see the performances. However the golden disc one was way better than the first too

melliora ♡

Love your reaction familia! just curious if you’re going to react to ENHYPEN ? 😄

Masal

Enhypen please🥲

Yoon Michelle

I hope you know that this is a safe space. u can go ahead and deep dive into these hybe groups (esp seventeen). army/carat here <3

lucie

this was a great reaction!! other comments have been saying it might not be the best to watch svt award shows performances bc of camera work (for me i know the shitty sound is the worst lmao), and i think it might be true if you really want to listen to the song/watch the choreo in details (for this, there are other performances that might be better, but im sure they'll get to it at some point!), but i do think those performances hold a lot of interest bc you can see how fun they were, also the way they hyped the audience and other idols present. like svt/bss performances are a party (especially gom). also those award shows especially mama were super emotional because of context 😂 (coups being there, after a long time, the very emotional speeches etc). and, bss, yeah. i also wanna say txt impresses me every time i hear a new song from them they are so good. and le sserafim is one of my top girl groups atm and they killed that performance!! QOTD: outside of bts, svt and txt, recently ive been listening to older groups like vixx and shinee, and in terms of girl groups g-idle has been in my playlist a lot lately. i havent commented a lot yet bc im shy but i thought i would give it a try!! thank you for reacting again!!

Sneha

QOTD: My most listened to groups in kpop right are BTS Seventeen and The Rose(its a indie-rock band)!!!!

Priyanka Banerjee

Really enjoyed this! Though as many others were mentioning, for Seventeen due to camera work a lot of the performance gets cut so hope you get to check out their complete performance someday. I had previously watched Seventeen performances and I really love it. It's always epic and they Hype up the audience. Actually I have actually seen Super, God of Music, Hot and Don Quixote live in the concert and these were so epic there too! Specially Super and Hot as they were the first and last performance. WOW. But yea really enjoyed the reaction. Thank you!

dearsputnik

QOTD: TXT are my ult group but beside txt I also listen to le sserafim, newjeans, bts and ive

Nele

mine are bts (of course my forever artists !!!!) and then also le sserafim - i truly love all their songs, artistry, personalities and stage presence ! i'm so happy that you guys checked something out from them today thank youuuu 🥰

France Ezikiel Garcia

I really love your reaction to SVTs' performances! Here's a quick recap of their positions in the group: HHU (Hiphop unit): S.Coups (HHU Leader and SVT General Leader), Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon. PU (Performance Unit): Hoshi (Performance Leader), Jun, Minghao (The8), and Dino. VU (Vocal Unit): Woozi (Vocal Leader), Jeonghan, Joshua, Dokyeom (DK), and Seungkwan. Just to explain the trade finger gesture you noticed on Super. Super has a Korean title which is 손오공 or Sonogong which is the Korean name of the popular Japanese anime called "Dragon Ball," hence the hand gesture of them on the dance which is Son Goku's power to multiply. Woozi is a big anime fan, so it just make sense. And the song basically says that they had overcome the obstacles they have faced because they are united and strong, again relating to Son Goku who has a strong will to never give up. And for Cheers, yes, it's a unit song of the "Leaderz," which consists of S.Coups, Hoshi, and Woozi, the unit leaders of every units. For their performances, it's always grand and epic, and they do a lot of arrangements of their songs. They really do maximize their capacity when it comes to performances like this. I really do recommend you guys to check our their Super Long Guide by Caratline for familia to know them better, it will showcase a lot of their talents and personality! Here's the link (if you guys are interested): https://www.youtube.com/@caratline. It's long, but it was really helpful, especially when I was a baby carat back then. QOTD: I am only keeping up with SVT right now, I also always listen to Bangtan of course, but other than that I just listen to Filipino soloists songs. :)

Chim

Hey familia the behind the scenes of love wins all just came out. I hope you guys can react to it!!!

MoonRabbit

QOTD: I don't actually have much kpop in my playlists compared to other music (despite several non-kpop Korean music acts like Zion T) because I tend to enjoy kpop as the multimedia performance aspect more than just listening in most cases personally! The exceptions for regular listening for me most recently have been TXT and a little NewJeans (+ Akdong Musician as always ^^). I've definitely had other groups in and out with my changing tastes over the years though, and I listen to lots more solo kpop releases than group (V, RM, JiHyo, IU for e.g.) because I find the individual musicality often shines in a way that's easy to find my taste consistently :)! P.S. Familia feel free to use replies to this as a music recommendation swap, for kpop or other - I'm always down to share new listening material, especially easy-listening, experimental/art-pop or rock :).

Shamya✨

IU JUST RELEASED THE BTS OF LOVE WINS ALL WE GOT FED WITH A 21 MINUTE VIDEO HOPE U GUYS REACT TO IT❗️❗️❗️❤️❤️❤️

veenak

QOTD: my groups are BTS and TXT . So TXT familia like I already said have more artistic performances. Their storyline and universe is more fairytale coded. All 5 of them are best in everything but fans recognised and unofficial positions would be YEONJUN- Lead Dancer, Main Rapper and Vocalist. SOOBIN- Leader, Vocalist and Dancer. BEOMGYU- Visual, Vocalist and Dancer. TAEHYUN- Lead Vocalist and Dancer. HUENING KAI- Main Vocalist, Dancer and Rapper. They also don't have much of rap in their songs.. their music is very fresh and story based. They literally have all genres though!!!! For next TXT performances I would suggest LOLLAPALOOZA 2022 & 2023 (personally I would suggest you watch 2022 first cause that was more impactful as it was their first time), MMA 2022, MAMA 2022, MAMA 2023, GDA 2023. and for songs like 20cm, Run away, Fairy of shampoo, 0X1 Love song, Loser Lover, Good boy gone bad, Back for more ft anitta.

jennptx

QOTD: My top artists are BTS, Seventeen, TXT, and IU, but I really enjoy so many groups and I try to keep up (somewhat) with new comebacks. Can't wait for you to dig farther back into SVT's discography. There are many, many great music show and special live performance videos where the audio is better. Home has a special place in my heart, and if you haven't seen Don't Wanna Cry yet, it's a classic. There's a great MTV live performance that I really love for that one. Thank you for taking the time to give us these extra videos each week. It's so fun to watch, and I hope you enjoy it, even though it's extra work for you!!

Pips

QOTD: My favorites are Stray Kids, BTS, and Seventeen!

eucalyptus

qotd: i only actively listen to and follow bts and svt! I'm also a huge fan of k-indie, k-r&b and k-hiphop but i don't consider those kpop. very long comment ahead** thanks so much for watching these with us! all great performances - esp shoutout to whoever chose the lesserafim and txt stages cause that's some of my favs from them! for seventeen, the performances were amazing but as you said, the camera didn't show them enough and coups was missing from most of them. he was usually just in the audience (even at the concerts he missed) but in these performances, wonwoo filled some of his parts, vernon just left it quiet during coups part. i'd definitely recommend watching some more ot13 stages next time or even music videos and choreography videos (dance practice)! in the choreography videos you can really see how intricate and synchronized they are together, and even the mvs don't usually capture it entirely. marisol you mentioned reading lyrics and absolutely recommend! they usually bring a positive message in their songs, and it's nice to hear what they have to say since they wrote it. to answer your question, their shows are always this grand and epic HAHA, their concerts easily last 4 hours and they always bring a lot of energy. as for positions, you don't have to memorize this!! I'm just leaving this here because svt positions are hard to learn through performances because they all do it all - depending on the song, rappers sometimes only have singing parts, vocalists sometimes only have rapping parts and all of them are amazing dancers. vocals or rappers can also have solo dance breaks. which can be VERY CONFUSING. but OFFICIALLY here are the teams: vocal team: woozi, jeonghan, joshua, dk, seungkwan hip hop team: scoups, wonwoo, mingyu, vernon performance team: hoshi, jun, the8, dino as you said, txt doesn't have official positions other than the leader, and I'm not very well-versed with lsf (i don't know their official positions or if they have them) but i only know some members' specialties based on performances and other content (maybe a fearnot can let you know!)

orange lemon

Really? i think it's because they were watching and listening to their songs for the first time so they looked more focused watching the performances. lol

Srish_moonchild

Hey there, just wanted to shed some light on the word play they did while performing the song at MAMA The last two lines of the song Super (손오공) are: 지금부터 다 하늘 위로 함성 발사 Now let's all aim our cries up to the sky 이 노래는 이 만화의 엔딩송이다 This song is the manhwa’s ending song This basically refers to an ending song or credits song which is usually like the winning /happy ending/ victory song in a manhwa. But here the play on words is that for their MAMA performance where they were the last performers (due to seniority) they changed the last line lyric to: 이 노래는 이 MAMA의 엔딩송이다 This song is this (year’s) MAMA’s ending song So that was like so meant to be n and great play on words for their last performance ! Also the cheers on the parts such as “darumdarimda” and “say say say say” where so much more louder than what you can hear in this performer video!

Uyen-Vy

Wish you guys can react more le sserafim content 💜💜

Bambi

QOTD: As a MOARMY my most listened to groups are of course TXT and BTS. But thanks to you I have been watching more Seventeen content and am casually enjoying their music.

LYS_Answer

QOTD: BTS is the group I listen the most, but I also listen to almost all Hybe groups (not in order) TXT Enhypen SVT &Team Le Sserafim New Jeans Boynextdoor

Xiana Margaux

I hope you guys would react to &TEAM and ENHYPEN💗💗💗 &TEAM is a global group (9 members) under HYBE LABELS JAPAN. They are formed through the reality-survival show &Audition - The Howling. ENHYPEN is a Kpop group under BELIFT LAB (under HYBE). They are formed through the survival show ILAND. For those who are unaware, these two groups are actually very connected to each other. ENHYPEN is in the extended version of &TEAM's Under the Skin, which also picks up during a scene of ENHYPEN's Drunk-Dazed. So, these groups are connected not only through Iland (the survival show) but also through their closely connected storylines, which makes them interesting and distinctive in K-pop. Have you read the well-known tale of vampires and werewolves? The vampires are ENHYPEN, and the werewolves are TEAM. Also, something I just find very interesting about these two groups is that because ENHYPEN are vampires, their outfits end up being a lot more like Princes, which is more elegant-looking. They do have a couple that aren't, but a lot of them are of this style concept, while &TEAM has more of a grungy yet streetwear style to go more along with their werewolf concept. So even their clothing somewhat fits into this concept that they are different yet connected. &TEAM's Debut song: Under The Skin (Extended ver.) https://youtu.be/pATvex8f9kU?si=UsFTKzPGQyaVD-TQ ENHYPEN's Debut song: Given-Taken https://youtu.be/nQ6wLuYvGd4?si=-61diz4hQHAI8pKU ENHYPEN's Drunk-Dazed https://youtu.be/Fc7-Oe0tj5k?si=A-1xuX3E1Iq4-_hH Recent Songs: ENHYPEN's BITE ME (vampire concept) https://youtu.be/wXFLzODIdUI?si=pLvdyk9xBCTeV5uZ &TEAM's WAR CRY (werewolves concept) https://youtu.be/UJaW2Z5DxS8?si=SEAOnxxlapvyV23O PLEASE REACT TO THEM🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

dearsputnik

even if they don't have official positions I would say Yeonjun as the main dancer as he is also at the center of many dance breaks and Taehyun as the main vocalist as he is the one who has relatively more parts in the songs and also takes care of many ad libs

veenak

yep I agree!!!

Vivchkaa

QOTD: My top artist are BTS, Seventeen and Stray Kids (SVT being my fav one) but I also enjoy the music and content from other groups like TXT, Enhypen, NCT, Ateez and some girls groups. And thank you so much for the reaction, is good to see that you enjoy this performances ♥

deejebekosmos⁷

QOTD: BTS obvi, but I recently started getting into Zerobaseone, so they're my second most listened. I listen to few svt, txt enhypen and other groups' songs

KalaKeiko

Out of sheer curiosity and no judgement whatsoever, is there a particular reason why you listen to one group exclusively or have you not found one that matches your tastes yet?

Ijeoma⁷

I do listen to random Kpop songs, but BTS songs, messages, personalities, etc matches my taste perfectly. other groups are good too but am not just into any other group. I love KDramas too and OSTs

Himani Tokhi

BTS always be no 1 for me💜 but recently I have started seventeen I am enjoying this group.... You guys should definitely check out the mv of super and other songs like Hot, darling....😍

ArmyEngene

Mine is Enhypen. They remind me BTS somehow
