Update on making character sets (Patreon)
Content
Recently, each Character Set has grown to around 470+ images. With my current workflow of producing 2 sets per day, it now takes around 13 to 15 hours every day to finish everything.
Because of that, I've been thinking about making another improvement.
My plan is to merge Extra Stuff into the Character Set itself, allowing each set to grow beyond 500+ images.
How would this work?
Basically, I'll create around 100 additional images with completely unique scenes for every Character Set. These scenes won't simply be reused from previous sets (hopefully), they'll be made new scenes for that character. So every new set will have fresh ideas and different situations.
And I don't plan to stop there.
500+ images is only the starting point. As I continue improving my workflow and creating more poses and scenes, I'd love to expand each set even further like 600+ images, and eventually even more than that. My goal is to keep making every release feel bigger and more complete over time.
I also recently made another improvement behind the scenes by increasing the image quality. While this takes noticeably longer to render each image, like 33% longer. the results are much better. One of the biggest improvements is the background, it now looks much more natural, and the character blends into the scene much better than before. It's not perfect every single time, but it's a noticeable improvement overall, and I'm really happy with the results.
Example result:
Of course, all of these improvements also mean each set takes much longer to produce. Like i said 33% longer.
Because of that, I'll most likely reduce production to 1 character set per day.
Does this mean the weekly upload schedule will also become 7 sets per week and 1 set per day?
Short answer: Yes... eventually.
There's no exact date for this change yet, but it's something I'm planning for the future.
I know this might sound like fewer releases at first, but my goal isn't to reduce content, It's actually the opposite. I'd rather spend more time creating a much bigger and more varied set than rush multiple smaller ones.
I also rarely take breaks. Most of the time i'm working on sets almost every day because I genuinely enjoy creating them and have to rush for meet the quota for each day. This change isn't because I want to work less, it's simply to make sure I can keep producing bigger and better sets while maintaining a healthier and more sustainable workflow.
Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. I truly appreciate everyone who's been following my work, and I'm excited to keep making every release bigger and better than the last. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
