Hello! Alright had a lot of fun working on this one, still Nia joining left to be done.

This was the intital sketch following a inspired by a hot reference i found... 🫡

However I thought why not show the full bodies this time instead of ramdomly cropping their bodies so it was adjusted... 🤔

Kinda happy with it so I continued with line clean up where I applied some adjustments specially on Rex's chest and Mythra's face... and ofc adding body hair 😊

This is where the idea came... why shouldn't The Cat join in (in the works, probably for next week or week after maybe) 🙀

Realize canvas was flipped, and start coloring just the flats... 🎨

Shadde it...

added some light to their skins and rendered hair...

added some highlights and tone to their skins...

added adjustment layers to give ambient and tone to the scence...

I spent some time figuring out the background as I felt this one wasn't really going to work without one. so here's the first sketch

semoving all saturation tried to adjust so the values or light, character would pop-up and the background to look nice but not distracting from the action!

wasn't quite happy with it so I blocked shapes that would make sense and bring attention to the characters.

Soo I decided to fuse the blocking shapes and the fist sketch to endup with this, still had to apply a lot of adjustments to color for it to look right...

To finally come to this, and I'm happy how it came out at the end hope you like it as well! 🫡
