Alchemy Academy Prototype (Patreon)

So, hi everyone, as per the results of the previous poll today we're gonna be taking a look at some assets for a game prototype that didn't get finished called Alchemy Academy. I'll give a basic rundown of the premise, the characters and share the part of the script I had worked out. 

As a bonus, I've reworked the climax of the first arc of the visual novel into a story chapter, which I'll be posting in a future update.

And it kind of goes without saying that I'm comfortable sharing this in its current state because I know the assets simply won't get made for it so try to resist the urge to ask me to finish it, haha. I would have if I could have!

Synopsis

So let's give a brief rundown of the synopsis. As you may be aware, Zulfiya is the heiress to the Orion household and is set to one day inherit it all. What exactly the Orions do will differ from one setting to another as the plot demands but off the top of my head they've been involved in space exploration, cloning, the adult entertainment industry, and so on. Presumably in this story they would be an Alchemy enterprise, causing Zulfiya to summarily attend a magic school with her assistant Izzy to learn the trade.

This was all window-dressing for the most part as the story was going to revolve around Zulfiya having friction with one of her teachers, which is hinted at in the script as you'll see later, Miss Marlene. If there's one thing Zulfiya can't stand - that has been well documented more times than I care to recall - it is MOUTHY BROADS who think they know what's what. So the age gap between Zulfiya and Marlene would come into focus, the older woman being quite condescending and frustrating. At the beginning she'd be the more professional of the two and her confrontations would mostly be trying to get Zulfiya to be obedient and stop bloating her fellow students, but I imagine in the later parts of the story she'd become just as petty and twisted as Zulfiya. 

The other characters were accessories to their confrontation: Savannah the nurse is Marlene's wife who is much more promiscuous and easily controlled than her, opening another avenue for Zulfiya to get revenge on Marlene. Latilda is a student who Zulfiya has her way with at a party (shown in the upcoming story chapter) which would generally lay the groundwork for Marlene deciding Zulfiya is out of control and must be stopped. It probably goes without saying, but the endgame would have been Zulfiya coming to make both Marlene and Savannah her slaves.

Zulfiya and Izzy

Here's the placeholder artwork that was done up for these two, they should really need no introduction at this point. The brains and the brawn of the Orion family.

Latilda

Zulfiya's rather studious and hardworking classmate, her finished CG would have had her with quite dark skin. I don't quite recall if the script makes a point of it or if it was just included without any real mention. 

Marlene

The 'villain' of the story, as far as anyone can be more villainous than Zulfy herself anyway. Her sprite is in about the same level of detail as Zulfiya's.

Savannah

Marlene's wife and the school nurse. Her scenes would've involved her showing the greatest interest in Zulfiya, being won over by various bratty displays like denying other students access to the nurse's office, refusing to let Savannah treat them while Zulfiya is talking to her, things like that. Everything Zulfiya does seems designed to work this woman up and make her want to mommy and coddle the little brat, which would have ended in her begging Zulfiya for attention and doing anything the runt demanded of her. Unlike most girls, Savannah was going to have near-Izzy levels of durability and might even have been able to go more than one round with her? 

As a funny detail, she mentions her 'husband' in the story which was going to be revealed to be Marlene in a twist later on.

The Script

I'll be sharing it and all the art assets via private message (along with one additional piece of art) and I'll probably post a public link to it on Hentai Foundry whenever I put "The Party" up. It's all written up in Renpy script since that's what I was making it for, but there definitely isn't enough there to be called any sort of state of finished.
