Ares · Wither Queen Balance Changes

Buff: Increased Death Omen's healing from 0.5% to 2%.

Buff: skillsx and skills2 are now unblockable.

Buff: skills2 now allows slow turning at 30°/s before damage begins and 12°/s while dealing damage.

Buff: Reduced attack recovery time.

Nerf: Changed skills2 bonus damage per hit from 40 to 2% max HP + 10.

Nerf: Adjusted skillsx bonus damage per hit to 3% max HP + 20.

Buff: Increased Death Omen's bonus damage to 2% max HP per stack.

Buff: Significantly increased aggression.

Nerf: Added a damage-area indicator to skills2, making the attack easier to anticipate and avoid.

Ares · Fixes & Improvements

Fixed a bug that caused EFX to deal damage incorrectly.

Boss altars can now only be interacted with in the Ares dimension and have been removed from the Creative inventory.

Improved combo input responsiveness while transformed into the Wither Queen.

Players can now block and parry while transformed into the Wither Queen.

Added a walking animation while locked onto a target.

Reworked Yamato's exclusive dodge implementation so it no longer directly replaces the original dodge.

I'm really sorry for bringing this up so late, but when performing Judgement Cut, I noticed that being right next to an enemy for some reason triggers an additional damage hit of 165%–222.8%. Is this intended?

The newly added Style Rank system and BGM system are finally here! As expected, the level of accuracy in recreating the original is absolutely incredible! I found a few things that might be issues, so I'd like to report them: In DMC5, performing Judgement Cut End increases the Style Rank by two ranks, but here, it seems like the Style Rank doesn't increase at all. I also remember Hell on Earth increasing the Style Rank by two ranks in DMC5, whereas here it seems to increase by only one rank. As for DMC3-Style JCE (?), the Style Rank seems to increase slightly during the series of Judgement Cuts, but there doesn't seem to be any change from the final hit. Regarding the BGM system, it seems that the music can overlap with boss battles where the BGM is being played by another mod as well... For battles triggered by becoming hostile toward certain mobs, I feel it would be useful to have either a blacklist config that prevents the BGM from playing for specific mobs, or some kind of mechanism that prevents it from playing whenever music is already playing through another BGM slot, jukebox, or note block. Sorry for the long message, and thank you for taking the time to read it!
