Heptet Ref (Patreon)

New character???

Her companion character, Surina, will be posted next.

Heptet is an older gnoll, based off the aardwolf! She is an expert chef and has been traveling the land to find the best ingredients. Why, you ask? Well, so that she might have the best ingredients to pair with the ultimate meat: dragon meat. Specifically, the meat of the dragon that burned her pack's home and took her and several packmates for prisoner for 6 years. She hopes to kill the dragon one day, and serve the dragon as a meal. She was the dragon's chef, after all. She finds it only fitting.

That said, Heptet did end up falling in love with Surina, the dragon's dragonborn daughter. They developed a love-hate relationship. Picture enemies to lovers to enemies again! After escaping the dragon's lair with her surviving packmates, Heptet has been haunted by Surina ever since. And while Surina always ends up finding Heptet (and perhaps they share some moments together that enemies do not generally share), Heptet always manages to escape before Surina is able to drag the old gnoll back to the dragon's lair. And so their game of cat and mouse continues. They always fight when the cross paths (hence the scar on Heptet's face), but, well, all is forgiven after a night in a tavern, no?

Heptet is also, in case that wasn't obvious, a little unhinged.

Oh, and the scale grafts on her arm? That's from the dragon, who was experimenting on her and her packmates, to see if a gnoll dragonborn could be created. It hasn't worked so far.
