A/n - Hey guys! I got hit by a sudden wave of inspiration and just had to write this down. What do you think? Also, the next chapter of TBC is almost finished, and I’ll be posting it in a couple of hours too!

Weight... and darkness.

It was all I felt for thousands of years. My thoughts were filled with bitter memories: the sound of men dying on command, brutal war, and violence.

I had been naive...

Perhaps not naive... no, I knew this was a possibility. My own father imprisoned me and my dear sister. Arrogance had taken hold of me; wars won with my psychic might and the sheer power of my presence had blinded me.

Memories of that day played through my mind again: the battle filled with my golden fire burning through Valkyries and their mounts as they charged at me and my sister.

My Valkyries...

A cold, dull rage surged through me at the betrayal. Instead of ruminating on it, I simply acknowledged it and let it go. Yes, they had betrayed me, their general and prince, at the King's command—that was all it was.

That was not what I had envisioned.

Even against the All-Father, even against the full, terrified might of Asgard, Hela and I could have torn the golden kingdom down to its foundations  After all, even in betrayal, I was not alone. He had planned it well, ambushing me in my weakened state after being injured by the Abyssal One.

Another failure of my complacency...

Focusing my very essence, I sent a smidgen of wrath and emotion to my twin across dimensions, ensuring she knew she was not alone. Despite being reborn as the eldest prince of Asgard, I had hoped I could change things for the better… When I was reborn into this madness as the eldest prince of Asgard, I genuinely believed a modern mind and my powers impersonating a certain emperor or terra could steer the timeline away from its own demise. I thought I could fix them

...But it was not meant to be. Even with all my power, I could not change my war-hungry father. At least Hela was changed. At least she wasn't the broken, solitary creature she was fated to be. She had me.

After my defeat at the hands of my father, he had imprisoned me in this prison built by the filthy dwarves, surrounded by the crushing weight and power of nine young stars. Something he had prepared in secret for a long while. Because, unlike Hela, there was no way he could imprison me with his own power.

Odinforce or no Odinforce...

Over the millennia, my wounds that had nearly destroyed my soul had repaired with my mastery of my own biology, but even with me at near completeness, I could not break out of this accursed prison.

But the time will come, I thought coldly. I had no intention of staying here, being a pawn to that hypocrite.

Just then, I felt something across the dimensions. I felt the Casket of winter being used and used the sliver of intent I had left behind in its container long before the imprisonment. A contingency, if you will. A smirk formed on my face. That was all i needed a relic that contained the essence of absolute winter, something that could even slow Time...

That was enough..

Using teh With a flex of my mind, my might and authority, dormant for millennia, surged, and the nine stars blinked out.

Huh... I smiled.

"My gratitude... foolish trolls." Using the energy of the casket, I rebounded it and

Activated the  Bifrost.

And my world turned white.

Asgard.

A majestic, celestial landmass anchored firmly within its own pocket dimension. It was home to the Aesir—a proud, long-lived race with golden potential. For eras, they had stood as the undisputed rulers and guardians of the Nine Realms; their might, diplomacy, and brutality had bound together the realms connected by the world tree

Today, the Golden City was completely consumed by revelry.

Connected to the cosmos by the shimmering, crystalline expanse of the Rainbow Bridge, the capital’s streets were a sea of vibrant colours and roaring cheers.

Thousands of Asgardians packed the shining plazas, drinking heavy mead alongside visiting travelers from across the realms.

Near the great market squares, a minor noble from Vanaheim raised a heavy goblet toward an Asgardian veteran clad in polished plate. "To Prince Thor!" the Vanir shouted over the din. "May his reign be as loud as his storm!"

“TO PRINCE THOR!!!”

The entire city felt alive, its soaring, golden towers catching the light of the star-core that powered the realm. The architecture was a testament to absolute supremacy—monumental columns of solid stone inlaid with Uru filigree, and massive aqueducts carrying sparkling water over terraced gardens. This was the day a new ruler was meant to step into the light.

Asgard was crowning her next king.

Inside the Great Hall of Valaskjalf, the atmosphere shifted from loud celebration to grandiosity The throne room was breathtakingly vast, its vaulted ceilings painted with golden frescoes depicting centuries of absolute peace and peace treaties.

Massive pillars rose like stone giants, flanking the long, velvet-lined walkway that led to the high dais. The room was packed to the absolute brim with the elite of the realms: Vanir sorcerers, Dwarven delegates from Nidavellir, the graceful Elves of Alfheim all the closest allies of Asgard- had gathered for the momentous occasion

At the apex of the room sat Odin Borson, the All-Father.

He sat upon the Hlidskjalf, motionless, his hands holding upright his legendary Spear, Gungnir. Clad in ornate battle armor, his single eye stared out over the crowd, entirely unblinking.

o one in the hall, not even his closest advisors, could decipher what thoughts were churning behind that stoic, weathered face.

Beside him sat Queen Frigga, her expression a mask of perfect, elegant warmth. She smiled gracefully at the passing nobles, nodding as the foreign delegates offered their formal congratulations

The perfect queen

Suddenly, the massive vault doors at the back of the hall swung open with a resounding boom.

The chatter died instantly. All eyes snapped to the entrance as Thor Odinson strode into the hall with swagger, spinning Mjolnir casually by its leather strap, his crimson cape billowing behind him. He raised a fist to the cheering crowd, entirely wrapped in his own legend. He walked up to the throne with a fierce smile and a proud gait

“Father, my KING! I am here”

Odin looked down from the Hlidskjalf, leaning on Gungnir; he rose slowly and gazed out on his subjects

"Listen to them," Odin rumbled, his voice echoing through the hall. "They cry 'Thor!' A  they see a warrior The god of thunder, my son, you stand before me now, demanding a crown because of your triumphs. Are you worthy ?"

“Yes, father!” Thor bellowed to the fervent crowd

Odin stepped down the marble stairs, the armour plates chiming with each step He stopped a few paces from where his son knelt.

"Thor Odinson," the All-Father began “Do you swear to guard the Nine Realms? Do you swear to preserve the peace, to cast aside selfish ambition, and to pledge your life to the good of the universe?"

"I swear," Thor answered proudly, his voice ringing with absolute certainty. He looked up, his fierce smile widening, waiting for the final declaration that would seal his legacy.

Odin hesitated, staring at his son, causing the prince's smile to waver, before Gungnir was raised high, humming with power

Then on this day, I, Odin Borson, All-Father of Asgard, proclaim you to be—"

Mid-sentence, the spear jolted in Odin's grip. The All-Father flinched violently, his stoic face contorting into an expression Asgard had not seen

It was filled with dread…

The dimensional anchors deep within the foundations of the palace groaned. A long-suppressed memory of a blinding golden light tore at the edges of Odin's mind.

From the royal dais, Frigga rose instantly, her perfect composure shattering as she stepped forward,

"My love...?"

Suddenly, the blinding, roaring light of the Bifrost tore through the ceiling, flooding the great hall with a deafening eruption of interdimensional energy. Screams broke out instantly among the panicked nobles. Instinctively, Odin slammed Gungnir down, his face pale with horror. With a violent thrust of his arm, he pushed his wife back as the towering, metallic plates of the Destroyer Armor flew into the room, rapidly assembling around the All-Father to meet an existential threat.

As the light began to fade, a silhouette emerged from a kneeling position, slowly rising to its full height.

It was Valerius Odinson,

He stood bare-chested and armorless, his torso bearing a massive scar  He was impossibly tall, built with the intimidating physical perfection of a monarch—a living monument of sovereign might that made the Asgardian guards look like children.

The court stared in absolute shock; the laws of magic dictated that the Bifrost could not be opened inside the throne room, yet the reality before them shattered every rule. They stood awed and terrified, trapped by an intruder that caused the All-Father to summon the Destroyer.

Odin’s voice remained steady but if one listened close enough, you could hear a tremor

"Valerius..."

"It has been a while... my King," Valerius replied, his words dripping with pure venom.

Suddenly, an invisible, suffocating pressure enveloped the entire throne room. The sheer weight of his sovereign willpower pressed down on everyone.

Who was this person….!!?

Was there thought crossed the minds of most people in the throne room

Thor stepped forward, his pride flaring. "Who are you, intruder?! How dare you trespass in the court of the All-Father!"

Valerius glanced at him insignificantly, his golden eyes sweeping over the boy as if he were an insect. He simply walked forward slowly, entirely ignoring the crown prince.

"Face the wrath of Asgard!" At the disrespect, an enraged Thor roared. Billowing his cape, he launched himself into the air, flying forward in a devastating, thunderous charge as he swung Mjolnir straight toward the stranger's skull.

Breaking out of his stunned reverie, Odin yelled

“No, Thor!!!"

Valerius stood completely still, calmly looking at the charging prince with utter disdain. CRACK.

Mjolnir slammed directly into his bare face with the full force of a god's momentum. A cataclysmic shockwave erupted outward, shattering the stone floor and blowing out the glass windows of the hall

And it did nothing

Before Thor's eyes could widen in realization, Valerius's large hand snaked upward, wrapping tightly around the prince's neck and lifting him effortlessly off the ground.

Im very interested in seeing where this goes or gets its own story.

Son-Of-Scorn

Needs a second read, words missing or misspelled

Alertpoet91

Wait, does the SI have the powers of Big E, or did he just style himself after him?

Bishop7053

An asgardian going whose power is just straight big E. Me thinks Thanos is fucked. The real question is Frigga his mother? Or was hela and Valerius from another wife before her. What we know about her she wouldnt have been happy to imprison two of her kids.

Voidwolf 1994

I am interested in this. Please let it get it’s own story

I would love to read more, really hoping Valerius tears down the pictures to show the ones beneath.
