This was really good! In terms of charming, 100%. It took maybe just a minute to get accommodated to the walking system, but once I had it down and learned I could sort of chain movements, ie click somewhere else while still walking, it felt pretty natural. And the character dialogue moments felt really, really fluid. It's really seamless the way the character portraits pop up and the dialogue begins. The minigames, ie flower watering, were also intuitive and nice little extras. And in terms of dialogue, it matches the rest of the comic, which I obviously appreciate or I wouldn't be here lol. I like how much character and care is put into the bit rolls of the random trolls and kids there. In terms of things I think need a bit more polish, some of the dialogue boxes push the text right up to the edge; it feels like they need more padding. As one example, when talking to Lola, 'No... Well actually, yes', the 'N' has 0 distance between itself and the inner border. Also in dialogue, I think the text progression sound is a bit too frequent; it sounds like it's cutting itself off. I also noticed a few bugs. It didn't work on Chrome; the console told me, "WebGL not available" and I had to use FireFox. And this is extremely minor, but when reading the books in Jane's room, if you scroll down for one of them, the next book will load that far scrolled down as well. Just trying to be thorough haha, but I had a lot of fun with this!

Super cool!! I love that you're using Godot! And I love all the details and characters! The vending machine interaction was great haha. One minor thing I noticed while playing was that it would be nice to be able to skip the text scroll for all text popups by clicking, not just for dialogue. Anyway, amazing work with this, I'm super excited!!
