Hey!

Hope you're doing good! Here's the next in the Zelda pen & ink series, this is the thumb-nailing and sketching portion of the Ganon piece I'm working up. Most of the major design ideas and compositional decision making is done at this stage so I wanted to share my thoughts and approach to the character and the illustration.

This part of the process was done entirely in Photoshop using a chalk style brush working simply in black & white. My main focus is on making an image that works in the same style as the Link piece below - it needs to sit in a nice vignette and have that old school pen & ink look.

I'm pretty happy with the Ganon composition so far, looking forward to working this one up!
