Symphony of the Night - Work in Progress! (Patreon)

Hey!

So, this time around I wanted to use a slightly different approach to the final product - I'm going to be aiming for something more along a oil painting type look. Of course, this is just the rough sketch for the overall composition, but once things start tightening up in the pencils I'm going to hop over into texturing everything and working this piece to look a bit more like a canvas look to then paint over.

I'm hopeful that this will turn out well, I've done some experiments playing with the approach in small studies and I think, given a more serious approach than a study, this look will come across successfully.

Symphony of the Night is one of my all time favorites and I wanted to give some love to Richter as well as Alucard - Richter's opening & his game always stuck with me so I didn't want to paint a straight up Alucard image.

Hope you like it so far!

Thanks as always for your support!
