Symphony of the Night - Work in Progress Update - Alucard (Patreon)

Hey!

Hope you're well! Here's the latest progress I've made on the Symphony of the Night piece. I'm doing my best to work out Alucard's likeness at the moment - I felt like my initial drawing worked as it's own style, but when you adapt it into this render style it starts too look too cartoony next to how I painted Richter. So, I needed to adapt and shoot for something leaning more towards realism for Alucard - it's not done just yet, but when it comes to paintings like these, especially fan art, I find the most important aspects are the character's faces - so I'm spending a fair bit of time working these out to see if they come together well before doing the easy stuff(clothing, foliage, etc). 

I'm moving slightly slower in my pace as I just had my second baby boy - working nights when everyone is asleep at the moment haha, feeling a bit like a vampire right now.

I have a video on comics I recorded a bit ago as well as a process video that shows my Vampire Hunter D painting sped up where I'll do a write up of what I was attempting to learn before tackling this Castlevania piece.
