Here is the video that made my computer blow up last night. Still not sure what happened. I ended up being able to salvage some of it (had to make a recording of a recording and some of the footage is corrupted), but I figured putting out part of the cursed vid would be better than putting out nothing at all. Especially after thinking our studio was about to burn down, so - HERE YOU GO!!!

Watch the new Nancy Drew PC game trailer for the first time with me (and listen as I briefly explain some of the drama surrounding the games).

Thank you for waiting 6 days for us, Aly! 🙌🙏😂

The gossip is almost as good as the games tbh. People went feral from 2015 - 2019 trying to figure out what was happening with HERinteractive. It was quite a time to be alive lol

Rose B.

I love Nancy Drew games so much. Please do a live stream 🙏

HELL YES!!!! Do you have a favorite? They're all good, but I think my fave might be Message in a Haunted Mansion or Treasure in the Royal Tower.

Molly

Has Aly posted any Nancy free play throughs before? I would love to see you play other games!

Spookems

This is a new paradigm for me, will try to watch you play the game, when that happens.

Kat and Alice the Malice

I've never played the games myself but I have watched most of Gab Smolders' playthroughs, so I feel like I know them pretty well. I would absolutely love if you would do a livestream!!

Korki Miller

I would DEFINITELY watch a livestream of you playing this! Smosh Games has done a few livestreams of Nancy Drew (the train & ranch ones), but they're not Drew heads and never finish. This trailer seems to have so many levels! Maybe it could be a series? It might be too long to finish in one session, but I would definitely like to see the ending. I love puzzle games. I think you would be awesome at doing this! You're already an amateur detective, busting crime IRL. This is more fun. 😀

Jacky Ginger

So glad you could save some of the video. Is the pc okay now? I‘ve actually never heard of Nancy Drew prior to the podcast, but I would watch the shit out of that live stream!

Allegra B

I'd love to see a livestream! These games were my shit back in the day. Message in a Haunted Mansion was the first horror-adjacent media I was ever allowed to engage with, and since that day my entire experience with spooky stuff is basically just chasing the dragon of the chills it gave me.

SavH

Okay so fun fact, I think reading the Nancy Drew books and playing the PC games as a kid made me become a Hauntie and I’m here for it! Definitely a spooky gateway drug 😂🙏

marylizabetha

It's so fun to see you nerding out! This reminds me of the first 3 Harry Potter games which I used to love, so I'm into this! My Mom used to read me Nancy Drew and Mary-Kate and Ashley mysteries when I was a kid and I loved them! I've been meaning to start reading mystery novels so this is right up my alley!

Alexis Stech

The voice of Nancy drew slightly has an Aly type of voice and I'm here for it

Kelsea K

I had no idea there was so much Nancy Drew games lore. I’m invested.

NicoleWithoutTheH

I have never played Nancy Drew games, but this looks awesome!

Meg Tisdale

I've never played but I would definitely love to watch you play on a live!!

GathywithaG

Oh right, twist my arm!!! How does one not want to partake in some mega-ALY energy!!! She's amazing, and I vote casting her as a real live Nancy Drew in a Theme Park for Video Icons! So sign me up! They'll get their money on the come back, cuz I'll be hooked!

Chloe Lanning

Sorry to comment on such an old post, BUT you convinced me to try the games! Just finished Ghost of Thornton Hall and it was a blast. Definitely a convert now and would definitely watch a livestream of them being played
