I leaned in close — close enough for my earring to brush your skin, close enough for you to smell the shampoo in my hair — and whispered something in your ear. Your eyes opened. You smiled. And your hands were under the lace before I even finished the sentence. 😏

Mornings with you are my favorite thing. The soft light, the warm sheets, the way everything is slow and gentle and then suddenly not gentle at all. The cherry blossom clips falling out of my hair one by one onto the pillow. Your fingers tracing the stripes on the lingerie before pulling it aside. 💕

We made the morning beautiful. And then we made it messy. And then we lay there tangled in pink sheets smiling like idiots. 🌸
