The mat is warm, the floor is warm, and by the time I'm naked beside it, so are you. Late afternoon light comes in low and hard, rimming every line of me, and the mirrors turn one moment into a hundred.

I love this part — the shaky, sweaty, close-up part. Skin sticking, breath going somewhere it shouldn't, my clips on the floor beside us. And after, when the light goes amber and I'm still catching my breath, all flushed and messy on the mat with you.
