Route B took the win for round one, but hey there's always chances for other characters to get animations with or without the poll.

I have grumbles with this vote. If you put the same characters in more than one option, more people might want a character but it's being split between two options. As a possible example people might really want Byleth but are split on who should be with her so, Byleth might have the most votes but they are split between the two options.

For future polls there's definitely room for improvement - for one, I probably should have separated branch pairings into different routes instead of tunneling them together. That's mostly on my end because the split into routes were a last-thought decision to find *some* balance. Nevertheless hopefully it's not completely invalidated when the objective is to vote for a pairing and not specifically one character. EDIT: It can also be argued that the FE options tend to be on the popular side, and diverting the votes still give them that giant's edge but allow a closer fighting chance for other options.

Well there are some ways to fix it but I'm not sure how it can be done on Patreon. One is just letting people vote more than once. Or do this voting kinda like the last one and just eliminate each pairing one at a time. (This method is really effective.) (For example if you have A B C D. B might have the most votes but if you eliminate the lowest at each step A might not be everyone's first choice but it could be everyone's second.) I don't want to sound like I'm nit picking or trying to be mean. Stats and polling and data analysis is a fun hobby for me.

It's all good! The polls do help me figure out what character preferences and trends exist around my animations so any way to make it more effective is good. I give the polls roughly 2-3 days to roll out its vote cycle, so I'm not very sure about an elimination process when I have to factor in preparing models and creating the animation earlier rather than later to somehow meet the month's end.

Then it sounds like letting people vote more than once and picking all the ones they want, (or top #) so that way people can say "these are all the ones I would be happy with". If you are trying to appease or satiate the most people this is a good way to do it. Then you pick the top. But again I don't know your time constraints, how polls on Patreon work, or other factors.

Allowing multiple options would be an interesting idea. I'll have to give that a try if another massive influx of entries or the duos theme comes up again.
