lots of doodles today!!! I'm really feeling it. Feeling excited to see in another year, although I don't put a ton of weight on new years in particular... I think things change with time regardless and I don't hinge on the fresh slate feeling of january 1st because I feel like it sets me up for disappointment when things are mostly the same. on with the doodles!1 - sandwiched between christmas and valentines day :) happy new year2 - I drew this earlier but wanted to start with the color doodle. kells and romeo again.3 - my partner's new reindeer character fucked up "this year" and dropped his antlers way too early. he managed to grow in some shrimpy ones just in time for reindeer fest at the breeding stable but I, the artist, keep referring to him as a goat because of how he looks, either on purpose or accident... and my he, the character, is very offended by this. kells thinks it's cute though :/4 - velu's elk, Kain, also joined in at the stable. kells and the unnamed "goat" check him out and appreciate his qualities as a specimen.
