End of the year post, important updates and announcements! (Patreon)

TLDR AT THE ENDHappy new year gamers! I hope you all are having a nice and joyful end of the year as we try to collect our thoughts on what a crazy year this has been, for some more than others I assume, and for better or worse I'm no exception.I'll just start off by saying thank you to all of you, subscribers and free members for supporting me! Whether you gave me 1 dollar, commissioned me, shared my art or just enjoy it, I appreciate all the love you've given me this year.

I was very excited about opening this patreon page at the start of the year when I thought I had enough of a following in Twitter, Bluesky and Pixiv to get at least 1 or 2 people subscribed to my page. However, I was proven wrong in more ways than 1.

First, I ended up a total of 27 subscribers throughout the entire year! It may not be much for lots of other big time artists, but I never imagined I could have gotten such a number of subscribers in such a short time, so I can't thank you enough for the monetary support you've given me, and I hope I didn't disappoint with my art and my handling of this platform.

Unfortunately, I was also proven wrong by how I measured my social media accounts numbers. First of all I was suspended permanently from pixiv for linking directly to my other platforms in my posts, as they "contain explicit nudity", which basically translates to "stop funneling people from pixiv to other websites and focus on fanbox", which btw only made 3 dollars for me in its entire lifespan. I've made a 2nd account recently to upload more sfw content for now but it won't be much of a priority. As some of you may also know, right now Twitter is a broken fascist cesspool handled by an actual Nazi that prioritizes taking money from their users, and hateful and dehumanizing content over anything else, which not only is enough of a reason to boycott the platform altogether, but the way the site's algorithm and "tweepcred" currently work makes it impossible for me to post my art and get any sort of significant engagement and grow my audience. I'm pretty sure I'm shadowbanned too. So I've taken the decision that I should have taken a long time ago and I'll desist from posting any new content on that website.I recommend all of you guys to move to Bluesky, which is where I'm gonna be the most active on, aside from this Patreon page. I'm not a fan of any social media platform, nor do I like engaging in tribalism over dumb apps, but currently Bluesky is the most stable platform both in terms of how it works and the users participating in it, as much as I don't like the people handling it (at least I'm not gonna get penalized for saying the words "commission" or "cis-gender" or posting a link). Of course, if shit hits the fan and the website turns to crap too, I'll gladly leave and go find a different platform. Newgrounds is another website I'm posting my art on so you can follow me there too. https://frankgallaxx.newgrounds.com/"Well this is nice and all, but where are the GODDAMN ANNOUNCEMENTS" you may ask?Okay then, let's start off with the bad news: I was fired from my job at Seven Leaf Clover on December 9th 2025. I was the art director for the studio's only game released so far, Rebel Engine, during the entire development process of the game. I won't get into much detail over this because there are still some legal issues I need to solve with the studio and I assume the only thing you guys care about concerning my job is the fact that I no longer have said job, and therefore I no longer have my source of "stable" income to pay my bills and help my family with.

So what am I gonna do now? Well, let's move on to the good news then...As some of you may already know and might have guessed, yes. COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN AGAIN, and they shall remain open for the foreseeable future. I honestly don't want to get another job in the video game industry, given the current sad state of it, specially where I live, and I finally have time to work more on my own art, my style, my aesthetic and give back more to you guys, and hopefully grow my platform even more! I will update the terms (and prices) of the commission tiers, but I recommend you guys to DM me before subscribing to a commission tier, so we can do the transaction directly through Paypal and get the comms for a cheaper price, since I won't have to charge extra to cover the patreon fees. The subscription tier is still gonna be available for people that want to commission me and also want to get the other subscription benefits and/or don't wanna bother doing manual payments for continuous commissions.

In other news regarding video games, I can announce that I have already started working on a NEW GAME with my friends Sanchez ( https://bsky.app/profile/sanchezisfine.bsky.social ) and Kaimecha ( https://bsky.app/profile/kaimecha.bsky.social ) ! For those who don't know, they are both very good artists that I've known for about 5 years, we were all tired of being poor and unemployed so we decided to start working on our very own EROTIC VISUAL NOVEL. I won't reveal many other details yet until we've got something relatively presentable to show to the public, but I can confidently say I have very high hopes for this project. Right now tho, the game is still very early in development and we don't have a Patreon page set-up for it either, so we won't be working on it full time until it becomes profitable enough, which means it won't cut much into my commission and Patreon art time. I'll be working on it as co-director, producer, story writer, background and general 2D artist, and animator.Did I just say animator? Oh, well I guess that leads to my third announcement which is:I'm currently learning Live2D animation! Honestly the original reason I wanted to learn Live2D was making sure the new game is appealing enough to make money, but then I realized I could also apply what I learned from Live2D to my own illustrations and offer them as a service. Eventually, what I'd like to be able to do is animate some of my illustrations so they can be part of their own subscription tier, while also offering animation commissions (yes, that also means ANIMATED SEX)! Once I get the hang of it more, I'll iron out my plan and share the details with you guys.

That's about it for the important announcements! The rest are bunch of miscellaneous news but I'll still share them:-I'll be adding timelapse videos for some of my pieces, not all of them since some are just gonna be silly practice sketches, but I'll try to record them for my main illustrations, both SFW and NSFW versions.-I'll also be uploading my SFW timelapses to my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@FrankGallaxxBrand so make sure to subscribe if you wanna see them in your youtube feed! I might open a TikTok account for the timelapses too, but tiktok is... you know...-I'm gonna try to start doing merch art, like charms, stickers, draw my sfw pieces with prints in mind, etc. I don't count this as a big announcement since there's nothing official yet and I want to gauge how much interest there actually is for my potential merch.-I MIGHT do some NSFW streams on picarto at https://picarto.tv/Frankgallaxx , so subscribe there to not miss those spicy streams, but I'll try to make announcement posts for those NSFW streams. Regular streams are still gonna be on https://www.twitch.tv/frankgallaxx and I MIGHT stream on Youtube too, but neither of these platforms are very reliable, and turnout for my last streams hasn't been very good, so streaming won't be much of a priority, but I'll still try to announce whenever I'll be going live, with some time in advance.-I'm thinking of adding a subscription tier that lets subscribers vote on polls to decide which characters I should draw next. The options would mostly include characters I enjoy drawing, but I'll try to include other popular characters that people are into (at that point in time).
